I Loved You Before You Were Born Board Book - A Love Letter from Grandma

I bought this for my sister who got pregnant when our mother had lung cancer. We were hoping our mom would make it until her new grandchild was born but just in case we had Mom sign the book while she was still able to. I believe it is the dad's mother who is "telling" it but we just switched gender references. Our mother passed away before she could see her new grandson but this book is a great way to keep her memory alive. Very hard for my sister to read it to her son without crying though.

This book is the perfect gift for any grandparents to-be. We gave this to my mother and mother-in-law as a thank you gift for hosting our baby shower and they LOVED it.( I had to assure them they don't look as old as the grandma in the book, they are only in their 50's after all). A great addition to the new baby's library to read at grandma's house.

Still waiting for grandchildren, I saw this and had to purchase it for several gifts. It's such a sweet read.......to yourself or to your favorite grandchild. I did tuck one away for the 'future'......just too good to miss.......you should,too!

This perfectly expressed how I felt about each of my grandchildren, so was happy to present it to the newest one and his parents just after he arrived. Art work itself conveys love and gentleness--what every new family needs.

As a mother , grandmother and a great grandmother I have read many books to my children and grandchildren through out the years. I was deeply touched by this book's message as this reflects my own feelings when learning our family is once again blessed by anticipating a new life being formed by our Creator. It makes a wonderful book to have and to share with each grandchild. I feel it is so very important for a child to know they are loved.......even before they were born.
