I liked the characters in the book. They were quite imaginative and not the usual werewolf story. Plot was interesting and when the “villain” was exposed, I was pleased to find out I was right, but it took me nearly until the end of the book. A fun read!

A fun read with humor, mystery, sadness and romance. Have read other authors where shifting takes place but nothing quite like this. A little far fetched but after all it is fiction. Will be visiting Peculiar Mo soon will look for signs!!!
The First Book of Demons (The Book of Demons Saga 1) :: Cop a Feel (Handcuffs and Happily Ever Afters Book 3) :: Some Were In Time: Shift Happens Book Two :: Witch Glitch: Magic and Mayhem Book Two :: How to Date a Werewolf (Rylie Cruz Series Book 1)

First, this cover does not do this book justice! I expected a light, little, cutesy story. Oh no!! This is up there as one of the better paranormal mysteries I have read, & believe me I've read a lot! It had twists & turns, & mystery, & some really hot passionate scenes! But above all, it touched my heart. It made me laugh & it made me cry my eyes out. I am so glad this book was recommended to me. If you like hot paranormal romance/mysteries make sure you read this one!! Now I am eagerly awaiting book #2!

Characters well developed complete with quirky habits. Plot develops naturally with a good flow. I needed to finish the story so I stayed up until done. Didn't guess the ending, but it was perfect. Highly recommend.

A town named Peculiar has got to be different. Not knowing what I was getting into, although the cover makes it look like a light read, You've Got Tail is anything but. Filled with romance, the paranormal, hostile townspeople, mystery, and a whole lot of humor, this story was hard to put down and, in fact, I read it non-stop. With a strong plot and wonderful characters, it left me wanting more, and I can't wait for the next book.

First in the Peculiar Mysteries paranormal romance mystery series and revolving around Sunny Haddock and the town of Peculiar, Missouri. The couple focus is on Sunny Haddock and Babe Trimmel.
I suggest getting over to the store and “buying it for free” while it lasts.
My Take
George catches your interest fairly quickly as one townie after another tells Sunny she shouldn’t be here. Okay, yeah, it’s obvious what’s meant, but between Sunny’s visions and her encounters with the townsfolk, Babe, and that dog who keeps showing up, it'll keep ya reading to see how it plays out.
I’m of two minds on how George gave us insight on Sunny’s thoughts (George uses first person protagonist point-of-view from Sunny’s perspective). Part of me was so annoyed that she had Sunny flipping back and forth so immediately on what she was thinking and what she said. I got confused too frequently. But then again, it was cute as well…once I got it sorted out.
It’s a story that sets the individual against the town, one that wants her gone, although the townsfolk do give out mixed messages. But there’s much worse preying on Peculiar, and they’re darn lucky Sunny is so stubborn. As for Babe, there is definite doubt about which way Babe will choose, as he hates the town and can’t wait to get out. Again.
Another niggle was Sunny's attitude toward Babe when she first shows up in Peculiar. It makes no sense to me that she kept trying to push Babel out at the start. If she’s there to find Chav, wouldn’t she want his help?? Although I was impressed with Sunny’s willpower, as the story progressed.
It's a fun read, and I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series, Thank You For Not Shifting .

San Diego
Serg is Sunny’s stylist.
Kansas City, Kansas

Moonbell was Sunny’s first serious crush.
The Cover and Title
The cover is a cartoon graphic with a wolf howling away from the cratered full moon at the deep blue night sky, standing on a teal blue and green platform behind the sunny-haired Sunny. She's standing with her arms crossed and wearing a pinkish lavender scoop-neck T, a necklace with a centered rose, and deep blue trousers. Nestled up to her side is Bambi, a fawn still sporting his spots. There’s an info blurb at the top right in white. The title is a black-outlined pale yellow that is centered across Sunny’s chest. In the bottom left is another info blurb with the author’s name below it in white. The series information, also in white, is on the right with a yellow heart of a paw print below it.
The title is an unexpected discovery when Sunny discovers You’ve Got Tail.
I suggest getting over to the store and “buying it for free” while it lasts.

Enjoyable. Stand-alone that is easy to follow and difficult to put down. Some violence, no drag-you-down drama.
This mystery is similar to a "cozy" yet is more powerfully written. Intriguing storyline with plenty of twists to keep the reader's interest.
Believable characters with distinct personalities. Entertaining and snarky dialogue.
No desire to re-read this story. I am interested in other works by this author.

This was an easy read and mostly enjoyable. Some of the sex scenes seemed like they were put in because of a formula. However, that didn’t detract from the overall story line. It is lighthearted at times and their are places you have to just go with the story.
Our protagonist, Sunny, is interesting as she grows in understanding of her psychic powers while trying to solve the mystery of her best friend’s disappearance.

In this well written book you have two friends that planed to move and start a new business. One left early to try and find her missing brother. The second (Sunny) comes running after a cryptic message from her friend Chevvah, saying I need you now. When Sunny shows up the whole town seems to try and get her to leave saying she’s not right for the town. But she’s not going anywhere till she finds her friend. Younger brother of Chev (Babel or Babe) keeps trying to keep Sunny safe and more. You have lots of mystery, Intrigue, a love story and a whole lot more going on in this well written and very entertaining story. I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review.
