Loved the conclusion to this fantastic trilogy! I wish Robyn Peterman would just sit her awesome butt at a computer and keeping their stories going. Her books have the humor and heart that I crave when reading. Please keep them coming!!!

I feel like I've hit the lottery. After receiving a copy from Netgalley I needed to read the first books in the series which I've owned since their release. Yes, I'm a book addict with 2000 books and not enough time to read them. I enjoy many genres and Robyn just fills them all in her books. Each book is funny (crude-and-sexy-funny), full of sexual innuendos and sarcasm galore. Just like the other books this is a suspenseful romance with a definite emphasize on sexual banter and hot steamy sex scenes. You should read the series in order, although not really necessary it definitely explains the characters and their issues. You will fall in love with Shoshanna and all her craziness as we learn about Mitch's sister Candy and her just as damaged beau Luke. Shoshanna's life is threatened, craziness ensues and there's love in the air.

Cop a Feel is another wacky romantic escapade in Robyn Peterman’s hysterical Handcuffs and Happily Ever After series. In this installment, a puzzling mystery reunites several of the characters from previous novels and Candace “Candy” Sanderson and the mysterious Luke Blakely find their happily ever while guarding erotic romance author Shoshana LeHump.

Still recovering from the wounds she received in her last case, Candy’s newest assignment finds her going undercover as Shoshana’s assistant. Candy is a hardnosed DEA agent who does not believe in love and she is less than thrilled with her latest assignment. Her enthusiasm wilts even further when she learns she will be attending an erotic romance convention with Shoshana and that she will have to don some very sexy costumes in her role as Shoshana’s assistant. But the biggest shock is when Candy discovers that her newest partner is none other than her ex-lover, Luke, and her greatest challenge is resisting the über sexy agent who is determined to win her heart.

As with the previous books in the Handcuffs and Happily Ever After series, the plot and characters are a little absurd but that is what makes reading Cop a Feel so much fun. However, underneath the silliness, there are some serious undertones as Candy and Luke put their hearts on the line and overcome the tragedies of their respective pasts. The characters are introspective and their astute observations help one another put things into perspective. The mystery element of the storyline is easy to figure out, but it is still enjoyable watching the various characters put all of the pieces of the puzzle together.

Robyn Peterman good-naturedly pokes fun at romance convention with some very outrageous situations that made me giggle uncontrollably. Hands down, the best scenes in the novel involve… twerking. Truly unforgettable and absolutely priceless twerking.

The pièce de résistance of Cop a Feel is the fabulous epilogue which perfectly wraps all of the various couples happily ever afters. I have loved every delightful installment of this crazy series and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a delightfully raunchy story that has plenty of humor, sizzling hot love scenes and a whole lot of heart.

I received a complimentary copy for review.

Before you go any further with this review or post, if you are easily offended by crude language, cussing and name calling then this book isn't for you. However, that doesn't bother me, I love a good slap-stick, funny book with crass humor! Cop a Feel was my first book by Robyn Peterson and I will DEFINITELY be going back for more of this series soon!

Cop a Feel is book #3 in the series but you can read it as a stand alone just fine. There are a few times I wish I knew all the connections, but I was never confused and the humor and zany plot kept me from feeling like I was missing out on something. Robyn Peterson has a crazy, crude imagination that makes me want to be friends with her in real life! This book was just plain fun and I had a hard time putting it down to make lunch for my kids or do the laundry (don't worry they are fed and wearing clean(ish) clothes now).

Cop a Feel had a very Stephanie Plum (a character from Janet Evanovich's famous series) vibe, if Stephanie Plum had a foul mouth and loved to shoot people. I loved that not only do you get humor, zany characters and great heat, you actually get a story that leaves you with a smile. Is this story something that could happen in real life, probably not, but hell we read fiction and this was just good, fun fiction that was a crazy ride I would sign up for time and time again. In a book world full of angst and really hard to read subject matters I found Candy and Luke and the whole cast of crazy characters a real treat!

Robyn Peterson has such a way with words (colorful and crude words) that sucks you in and then gives you characters you can't help but love and a story that even though it borders on the ridiculous, is just good fun to read. If you are in the mood to laugh and have fun while reading about two fun characters (and all rest) then Cop a Feel is a definite must read! Be prepared to laugh out loud and add new colorful phrases to your vocabulary ;)

Before I begin my review, I have decided to profess my love for Robyn Peterman. Now, I am happily married to the man of my dreams, but this woman is my literary soul mate! I have not laughed this hard since my college days of too much drinking and not remembering how we made it back across the US/Mexico border! When my husband and I renew our vows in a few years - I am going to contract her to write our vows! The vows exchanged in this book were PRICELESS.

Cop A Feel is the end of the Handcuffs and Happily Ever Afters series. I will admit, I was upset to hear this. 'How Hard Can It Be' was my first Robyn experience, and I will admit - I saw Jesus! :) When I ventured on to 'Size Matters,' I laughed out loud the entire time, and thought about finding Big Foot myself! Cop A Feel tied the entire story up with a neat bow. No... scratch that! Tied it up to the bed with handcuffs? (Metal or Fuzzy? You will have to attend Shoshanna's panel on that topic to find out what her son prefers!)

This final installment is about Mitch's sister, Candace. We all met Candy in the last book when her brother Mitch fell in LURVE! Candy's no nonsense, rough and tough demeanor makes me giggle - because it does anything but match her name. Candy has been having no-strings attached sex with a man for the last year, and she couldn't even tell you his name. (He couldn't tell you hers either - or could he?)

Candy gets stuck on a babysitting job for her boss, Steve while she is recuperating from a cartel related wound. When this seemingly harmless task becomes more than expected - back-up is called in. An all too familiar voice enters the room and Candy is a GONER. Not-Dave is her partner? Oh no! This could be trouble!

These two undercover agents have never had a job make them more uncomfortable that this one. Leather chaps, rubber skirts, vibrators with your 'moms' picture on them and hardcore (undercover kinky!) religious protesters outside of the Marriott! I cannot give away the story, because that isn't my style! You get your HEA! That much I can say. In between, you will experience nothing normal. Every turn of the page will make you re-read the paragraph. Robyn, who writes because the people in her head won't stop until she has put them on paper, must laugh out loud ALL THE TIME if this is what is always going on in her head. Haha.

Luke is perfect. (Minus all his flaws!) I adore this man, and his need for Candy! (I WANT CANDY!!!) He is deep, and by the time I was done, if Candy wasn't willing - I would be! "Because you're you and you make me real. A civilian could never understand what I've done. Some of it, I had to do and some of it I wanted to do. You are perfectly imperfect - so beautiful and so damaged. I am so f'***ing drawn to you, I can't see straight. That's why." It was lines like that - I was just *swoon* - speechless!!!

You get to revisit with all your favorites from the last two books. Ok, ok... I will warn you - some you will need to visit in prison, BUT even they get their HEA. :) I adored getting to check in my my other two favorite couples. Candy making friends with Kristy and Rena made me smile. Mitch's protectiveness over his sister made my heart melt. When she was honest with her feelings about Luke, that was the icing on the MF'ing cupcake! "He wants me, Mitch. He wants me just like I am - with my scars on the outside and even the uglier ones on the inside. He's good with my Glock strapped to my thigh and my total f'***ing fear of commitment. He's made me think about things and want things I've never considered a possibility for myself... I think I need that."

There wasn't a character I didn't love - ok... Helen. But she was essential to the story. Shoshanna my my favorite! I think we need to petition Robyn to write Shoshanna's book - I would read it! And she is just so blunt with her choice of words, so loving with her actions and such a Viking! This last quote from the book is what I will leave you with. The chemistry between Shoshanna, Luke and Candy is perfection!

"Sweet Mother Mary in a miniskirt," Shoshanna exploded, never one to let being chastised get her down. "You're f'***ing Batman."

"Nope. I'm f'***ing Candy."
"Oh my God," I hissed, and punched his arm. "Shut. Up."
"Seriously," Shoshanna said with a laugh and leaned forward, yet again. "You're an orphan who's richer than shit and you fight crime! You're f'***ing Batman."

This story has all the makings of another fantastic Robyn Peterman book and it does not disappoint!!! This is the third book in the Handcuffs & HEA series and features Candace who is Mitch’s sister from Size Matters. She is an undercover DEA agent who is good at her job, but because it is personal for her, she tends to act before she thinks which of course puts her life in danger. So now she is on “light-duty” which really means she is now baby-sitting an author who has received a couple of death threats. Yup! Shoshanna is back!!! Well since you have obviously read the other books in this series (you have, right?) you have to have already come to the conclusion that NOTHING IS AS IT SEEMS. The hilarity that ensues is so freakin’ funny I had to put my tablet down for fear of short-circuiting it with all of my tears and I had to keep cleaning it from snorting so much! I have to say that I found this book to be one of my favorites! OK, OK it is really hard to pick a fave out of all of Robyn’s books, but for some reason this one did. I don’t know if it was the fact that the couple “knew” each other already, or because Shoshanna was back, or maybe because of Rena & Jack or Kristy & Mitch, or maybe those 2 little ass whopping old ladies, ya it is probably because of ALL OF IT! I love Robyn’s snark & quotes (Sweet Jesus in a thong! for example) and then you add in the LOL moments with the mystery, “whip” in the sex and romance and it all blends together into the sweetest confectionary of a book. As with any Robyn Peterman book, you need to have a change of pants because I guarantee that you will pee yourself laughing!!!

This was a very entertaining read! It is very funny and light in spite of some of the suspense elements. This is the third book in the series and it does stand alone however as someone who has not read the earlier books I think they would have enhanced my reading experience.

Candy and Luke have a rather interesting relationship and it was fun to watch him pursue her, letting nothing get in his way. The secondary characters were all excellent also, there’s just something about an erotica writer with a pen name of Shoshanna LeHump that makes it impossible not to smile. This book is laugh out loud funny, in fact I'm very happy I was home alone when I was reading it, otherwise I'm sure my family would have thought I lost my mind. I will warn you however that this book is the romance novel equivalent of the R rated raunchy comedy, absolutely nothing is sacred and if you are easily offended this will not be the book for you. If on the other hand you can take things in stride and find just about everything funny you'll probably enjoy this one too. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

My God, this book was fantastic! Seriously hilarious and hot! And even sweet. And totally crazy! It made me laugh like a crazy lunatic on crack. I loved and loved and loved Luke. God, that guy was totally hot and awesome. I liked Candy too. She was a crazy, funny badass and made me want to slap her some times for being so difficult, but God, she and Luke cracked me up. They were hilarious together and also sexy!
I actually liked all the characters, except the bad guys/girls. The old "dykes" were appalling and funny. Evangeline was a crazy-ass b*tch but that scene in jail was hilarious. I liked Rena and Kristy. I'm going to go back and actually read book 1 and 2 (or at least book 2) and hopefully will be as good as this book was. I liked Shoshanna (or what her name's spelled) although not from the beginning. I liked Steve too. I'll have to know Mitch better in his book. But he seems good too.
The story was amazing and fun to read. Loved every minute of it!
It's not often that I give 5 stars rating. So, it means it's well deserved!
If you haven't read this yet, you MUST go grab a copy and start reading. Now! You will love it and won't be able to put the damn book down!

Rereading all the Robyn Peterman books for fun and laughter. I actually give this a 4.5 rating

I actually had forgotten about this series...I am still scratching my head over twerking and I think I hope I never see it. Are these book for readers of Barbara Cartland? Probably not-actually my mom would probably faint at the sex/lust/language in these books. Ms. Peterman has a fantastic quirky sense of humor that can make me laugh but is probably not for everyone. I think she falls into the category of love her or hate her...it might also depend on your mood. So if you start one and think this is to silly...wait until you have had the day from heck...and try again. Let me know if you change your mind.

Robyn Peterman's writing is addictive! There's just the right amount of mystery/romance/snark in Cop A Feel. Have a tissue box handy, not because you'll cry, but because you'll be laughing so hard tears will stream down your face. I love, am attached to, all the characters in this book but my favorites are Mrs. C, Edith and Shoshanna, I want to bring them home or at least meet Mrs. C & Edith at the firing range. If you're easily offended, don't read this, there are a fair amount of curse words, that's part of the fun for me. This quote sums up Robyn's ability, for me at least, "Shoshanna was such a gifted writer that she gave her characters life....." I am a fan for life. I recommend this to anyone who needs a good belly laugh!

This is one over the top totally hilarious fun time read. I hadn’t read anything by Robyn Peterman prior to this but will be rectifying that ASAP. This book had me rolling. Quirky characters, incredible pacing, and a rollicking good time made this a keeper for me. This is the third in the series but can be read stand alone.
Complimentary copy provided by NetGalley for an honest review.

So proud of Robyn Peterman Zahn! Her crazy humor is infecting tons of readers. These books are not for the faint of heart or the prudish. They are hilarious and I always say, "Did she really write that?". I love the twists and turns in her stories. She has been cranking them out. Robyn has always been driven, but I think she has found an amazing way to reach an audience and make them laugh out load.

Will be reading, "Cop a Feel" on my way to Boston on Monday. Hopefully I will not snort Diet Coke through my nose!

This series, especially this book, has been an action packed, laugh a minute, emotional roller coaster. I've laughed out loud, cried, and cringed, and have stayed up to ungodly hours finishing each book because I can not put it down. Robyn Peterson is a fantastic author, with a great sense of humor. I recommend anyone to pick up one of her books. Doesn't matter which one, you're gonna love it.

I love the opportunity to discover new authors(at least new to me) and this is another one to add to my list of authors to watch.

This is a wacky, sexy, fun-loving story of two people, Luke and Candy, who have, let's say, "known" each other for a year without asking what each other's names are.

This book reminds me of the Stephanie Plum character of old, with hilarious side characters and hot sex added into it. Bravo!
