Calculate with Confidence (Morris - Calculate with Confidence)

First Semester Nursing student. I have got to say this book was great. It explained material better than the instructor. The instructor broke the book into 3 tests within 1 month and I have got to say I am very grateful for the detailed information in this book. I finished with 2 A's(100's) and 1 B (87.) I would highly recommend this book for all first semester nursing students.

I was required to do remedial math for my nursing program. I have never been great with numbers and all of the skills I was taught in 7th grade were pretty weak. This book was a great learning tool, there are pre tests and post tests before each unit, every chapter has about 45 practice problems in the review section and another 45 for the skills challenge. There are step by step examples with alternate ways to do each calculation. A CD also comes with this book that has a multitude of practice problems as well. I would reccomend this book for other nursing students and nurses alike.

The book was in great condition. There was some writing in it but not much (luckily just penciled notes), but it's to be expected for a used book at a good price. I was definitely happy with this purchase.

It arrived fairly quickly and came in perfect condition. I'd recommend this to any nursing student. The math hasn't changed, so I don't think there's a whole lot of benefit to getting the latest edition. IMHO.

Was worried about the condition this would be in cause I bought this used. To my surprise, however, there is not a single mark in it, and the CD is in the back of the book! (I may have been lucky.) Slightly worn on cover. This book is a great resource for nursing math skills, love it!

The book was exactly as stated with only minor wear and tear, but with lots of writing. I could accept the highlighting as it was stated in the listing, but all the activities in the book were filled out too. I didn't appreciate that, but for the price, I cannot complain. Thanks!
