I LOVE Haylie’s books/programs. I’m so excited to start this one. It’s nice having new programs to change things up a bit and stay motivated. I have turned my family and friend onto Haylie’s programs and everyone has had great success.

Metabolism Revolition s yet another GREAT book by nutritionist Haylie Pomroy. It’s easu to follow and delivers on the promise! I have been following the author from her first released book in April 2013 and not only did I lose the weight I needed to lose, but my chronic autoimmune disease cleared up! No doctor was able to do that. Haylie has debunked the diet industry lies about calories and exercise. It’s all about what you eat. Those leaving negative reviews either have never tried the diet, or are expecting miracles after years of abusing their bodies. This lady knows her stuff and is so helpful to her diet plan community. We love you Haylie! Keep putting out this great information!

What a great concept. Setting yourself up not only for the short term but for life. I need external structure for diet success. This is exactly what I need. I am excited to update this review after 14 days and talk about how it worked. For now, Haylie Pomroy's programs had been life-changing for me. This looks like the last tool I will ever need for lifelong success.

I loved reading this book, though it needs correction but plan she has for weight reduction works great in a very healthy way. Not sure why people are complaining about the mistakes - it's not a law book so don't get serious even if it has flaws but conceptually this plan works.

I haven't tried the system yet, I started today. However, lots of mistakes. I live 30 minutes from a grocery store (60 minutes round trip) when the grocery list is wrong it's frustrating. I wish they would give those of us that bought this edition a free copy of the revised.

Haylie's support is wonderful. She is available for questions and her staff answers all our questions. This was easy to read but is more restrictive than the Fast Metabolism Diet. I have done well on Haylie's Fast Metabolism Diet and am starting the Metabolism Revolution on Monday. Thank you Haylie Pomroy for all that you do for us.

Just got my book today, but received kindle version earlier. I love this simplistic and holistic, whole food approach. Haylie has the passion and the skills, and so much enthusiasm for complete, nutricious and satisfying foods that do melt pounds off, almost without your noticing. This book takes into account living and maintaining weight loss, too! Thanks HP!

There are few things I appreciate less than buying a book and finding out it is pretty much an infomercial - an introduction that 'gives' a few things but with a continual upsell behind it. In this case, to give you some recipes and a meal plan and then continually encourage you pay for a subscription on her website or even buy the author's prepackaged food products. As well, the information presented here is nothing new: eat less sugar, avoid prepackaged products, eat better, not less. This is information I've read in nearly every diet/nutrition book I've read recently.
The book sets out through a LOT of anecdotes from the author's clients that you need to eat continually (not fast at all) in order to get your metabolism running optimally. It's an interesting contrast to the fast diets that suggest not eating a whole day does that exact same thing and also detoxes your system. But there are more testimonials than actual data - a fluffy approach to dieting.
The recipes all suggest a lot of sugar taste - using Stevia, which doesn't affect the glycemic load. The problem that I've found with that is that the taste of sugar makes me crave it all day. The only way to get rid of the sugar craving was to NOT sweeten everything. So I found that I couldn't use many of the recipes as presented because they relied on Stevia in many instances for sugary taste. The minute I started cooking the recipes and sweetening, I was craving sugary items all day and was miserable.
To find ideal weight goals, there is a lot of odd math that uses BMI as a base and then subtracting and adding based on height, etc. There were several in there like that and depending on your answer, you chose one of three meal plans (some needed more weight off, some less, for example). I have to admit I found it quite silly.
The recipes aren't formatted and pretty much look they were randomly thrown on the paper. You'll get nicer examples with your subscription to her website, of course, but not with the book.
In all, this felt genuine but misinformed and more like a marketing tool than an actual plan. At least the author didn't put items in her recipes (such as 'taste modifiers) that you can only get through purchase on her website. But in all, I was greatly disappointed here - it was fluff like you'd get from an enthusiastic but misguided friend who just got into selling cosmetics and wants you to buy her products, whether they are really effective or not. Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.

There is something wildly unethical about publishing a book with so many errors and then asking people to join a paid website to get accurate blank meal maps. Something this complex needs to be accurate, not have dozens of errors (uncovered so far). Not ok.

I have started this plan and am having great success. I find it easy to read, understand and follow. I will also add in that I am vegetarian, do not eat any meat or fish...but do eat eggs. Personally, I like to make up my own meals ( as opposed to following the recipes) , and its easy to do this from the list of allowed foods along with the allowed portions.I like that this program is 14 days and you get fast results. There is also good information on how to maintain the weight loss. I think Haylie is a gifted clinician that knows her stuff.

Haylie Pomroy, eating coach to the stars, has years of experience getting people healthy. This book is an eagerly awaited addition to my Pomroy library. If you want to learn what Haylie knows about how your body works and how to get healthy, read her books! Haylie has a compelling life story and an impressive professional background: for the best bio I've read of her, check the intro to her book Food Rx. I have all Haylie's books and have been eating according to her Fast Metabolism Plan for 2+ years now. I've lost more than 60 pounds so far, and at 62 I'd say that's pretty darned good! If you are looking for a fad diet that MAY take off a few pounds quickly and cause a rebound in weight immediately after you stop, do not read Haylie Pomroy books. If you're looking for a way to change your health and your life, and to reach and maintain a healthy weight while lowering blood pressure, cholesterol, and gaining a host of other benefits, read her books. The human body is a complex set of systems and changing body processes for the better (which is what her eating plans do) is not as simple as following a fad diet. I own Metabolism Revolution and read it the day I received it. I'm planning to do my first round of Metabolism Revolution this month - yes, it takes some thought and planning, but I don't have a Masters degree and I get along just fine :-). BTW, I doubt the negative reviews have read the book, and they certainly haven't done the eating plans. The claims of having to eat a lot of eggs per day or having to give up carbs or fats are completely false. And the HP Staff are wonderful about answering questions at the website. The Membership referred to in another post gets you discounts on her (optional!) supplements and shakes and perqs like the member's Facebook group, but those are not necessary to follow the plans.

I absolutely love the books and programs by Haylie Pomroy. She uses science to show you how food can actually heal your metabolism, a very different approach than most of the calorie counting/deprivation diets out there. A few reviews are talking about poor editing or that the program is confusing. Haylie's website has super responsive people who are available to clear up questions. The results people have on her programs speak for themselves, so if it takes you a little longer to grasp what you can and can't eat, it is still worth it!

This book is a great addition to the books written by Haylie Pomroy. I am a fan of her way of approaching weight loss and this book is for me the missing piece. I find it to be a great tool for using after a trip when I go off plan. I use it starting the first Monday I return and in 7 days I am back to my pre-trip weight. This book is well written and gives great examples. Having a new look at goal weight from another perspective and a way to approach a healthy metabolism for life is valuable insight.

I have all of Haylie Pomroy's books. She advocates good healthy food in good portions. The book is easy to follow, the recipes are delicious and while I have not finished a whole 14 days of the revolution, I a loosing weight at the predicted rate. There is some weight I took off years ago that I have kept off. I have returned to her program any time life got in the way and I gained some weight. I highly recommend this book and the Pomeroy programs!

A hardcore diet you would expect, sort of. Lean meat, fish and poultry. And massive amounts of the protein. (Beans or a few nuts if you are vegetarian). Very little oil. Vegetables limited to ones like broccoli, cauliflower, and green beans. You can have fruit, which is a shining point (and where you get the bulk of your carbs). No dairy. No wheat. No sugar. Only certain fake sweeteners, although I'm not sure what you'd need them for. No potatoes, rice, etc. No processed food at all. No alcohol. And when you get close to the end of the book you are told no caffeine. No coffee. No tea, not even white or green. Only herbal teas with no caffeine. Also little tips like if "a" margarita "falls into your mouth" by accident how to spend the next day fixing that. Or if you eat a piece of cake how you can then fix your metabolism. You may live to be a 120 years old if your body can process all the protein. I don't eat meat, pork or poultry and very little fish and didn't think I could tolerate 4 eggs per meal. But the no tomatoes and no caffeine were my red line.

Haylie and her team are just fabulous. This book provides a customized plan that is easy to follow and tailored to your individual needs. I have read and greatly benefited from all of her other books in the past. More importantly, I lost over 25 lbs of baby weight in 2016 after reading her original Fast Metabolism Diet book.....and keep it off since then. All of her plans, including the Burn plans, work wonderfully. I look and feel better in my 40's, than I did in my 30's, thanks to Haylie!!! I can't wait to give Meal Map A a test drive on this new plan.

I tried the regular fast metabolism diet and lost 15 pounds in about 7 weeks, which was fine with me. That was six months ago and I have never gained the weight back, even when I went on vacation and ate lobster with butter and a lot of ice cream.
This week I started Metabolism Revolution and I have lost 3 pounds in three days. Plus, I feel great. I tried so many other diets and nothing worked, so I really highly recommend this one. The food is healthy and the recipes are easy to follow. Yes, like any diet it gets a bit boring after a while but this one is only two weeks and the pay off is quite amazing.
I see from some of the more negative reviews that there are a lot of errors in this book, my guess being that most of them have to do with portion sizes. I paid very little attention to that part of the book, and just estimated the portions, which seems to have turned out fine.

Pros: it's quite straightforward, you don't go hungry and with a little prep it's easy to follow.
Cons: The "up to" 14 pounds is quite misleading IMO. I lost weight but 3 lbs at most per week, and doing all by the book. Per other reviews, this weight loss seems to be a lot more typical than the 14 lbs in 14 days, and the "up to" may protect you from legal liabilities but not from getting disappointed over a far more logical weight loss.
Bottom line: it's still worth it given the health benefits, but it's really bothersome that they will use such a deceitful claim.

Not a revolution in my experience. I have read and followed Haylie off and on since 2014 with relative success at times. Do not expect 14 pounds in 14 days. Maybe if you have lots and lots of weight to lose. I followed every bit of the program (plan B) with real food, not Haylie’s shakes, and after the first 2 days, weight bounced up and down. As others have mentioned, please make all the changes in the book. I also told them about some not mentioned, but they are not listed in the errata on the publisher’s site yet. In fact, the publisher has a very small number listed, compared to the link Haylie sent in a newsletter.

Nothing really new in this book, very confusing, two phases, not the usual 3...do not get audio version, the reader just keeps referring to page numbers, frustrating. You can use shakes, but they never tell you which shake for which phase...

This book is amazing!!! I hope that everyone is able to read this wonderful book as well as her others, as they have truly changed my life. Every time that I see one of Haylie's books in a store I make sure that I put them in the front for everyone to see, because they are really so inspiring. Already read through this one twice and I'm eager for all that is to come.

Just like her first book, The Fast Metabolism Diet, this book is rife with mistakes, omission and misleading info. Not cool when it has do do with people’s health. On top of that,it promises “....lip smacking, low effort recipes......gorgeously photographed in stunning color”. Guess what.not one photo in the book. I am disgusted.

I had buyer's remorse after ordering and tried to cancel but it had already shipped. This is EXTREMELY restrictive and something that just wouldn't work for me for even 14 days. Check it out from the library before buying.

How can any person with a conscience, let alone a doctor and published author, put out a book with so many mistakes and think is okay to just correct them from her Facebook page. Shame on you Haylie Pomroy!

It appears clear that the Haylie Pomroy 'empire' is into making money and hustling unneeded supplements. But wait--there's more! Only plain water unless you buy her energy drink supplement that contains cane sugar and cost over $100 a pound! Haylie admits that if you follow her original FMD plan you will actually lose an average of only one and a half pounds a week. She has yet to tell the truth about averages on this plan. But wait! You can (possibly) increase your loss by buying an amazing quantity of supplements and dietary products. And of course you need her paid $12.99 a month membership to access her Facebook page as well. Making millions of dollars by simply hosting a page seems a bit ingenuous even for someone with NO official medical licensing. Oh my. Might want to skip this except her FMD diet plan does seem to work if you don't mind eating 16 tablespoons of fat a day, or a pound and a half of meat or 16 cups of veggies. Yep. This new plan is a bit less of a 'feed' in its quantities. People report the weight comes back on if you stop raising your metabolic rate with these quantities and no one will entertain the question of such long term effects that damaged the loser contestants on a popular show. Really? So much for science!

Just returned it!!!
Do not waste your money on the new book !!! There is nothing revolutionary about it, I have read her old books and it’s still the same concept. I do agree it’s poorly written and super confusing (like her previous book). Honestly if you give up carbs, fats and processed foods you are bound to lose weight not to mention incorporate exercise too. Nothing great about this book.
