Tempted by the Boss (Tempted Series Book 1)

Well written ,interesting story,held my interest,fantasy,probably never happen in real life.... That makes it better... But don't like being teased would have bought others by the author if I had had the whole story....sorry no dice

Ella Riley has just graduated with a Major in Hospitality and Events Management, so now she is currently living with her mom who has moved into an apartment which is quite tiny, Ella hasn't complained considering she is grateful for her mom for letting her live with her until she finds a new job and a place to live. Barbara Riley runs a homeless shelter called The Nest and a few years back Will Abbott came there and started volunteering and he developed a bond with her and has been helping her with donations ever since.

Will Abbott is hosting a party to help raise money for charities including The Nest and he invited Barbara Ella's mom, but other than that when he's not running his successful hotel he is spending time with his ex wife as a way to let off some stress and even though he knows that this isn't the best idea he still continues to do so as this is easier than being in a relationship.

Whilst Ella is at the party she ends up meeting Will before the party is in full swing but she doesn't recognise him and she completely shocks him when she tells him that the party is alright but that she has been to far more impressive ones. She ends up leaving him completely shocked but stunned by her as when it's time for the raffle he ends up declaring her as the winner even though it was meant to be someone else. Will then tells her to come by the hotel the next day to receive her prize as it's currently in his office but when she ends up there the next day the last thing she was expecting was to be offered a job and the one thing that she has got to plan is the Christmas party and if she can do well and impress with that then he will offer her a permanent contract.

Will knows that the chemistry between them both is undeniable and the fact that Ella refuses to go out with him as she knows it's a bad idea completely shocks him as normally girls are all over him once they know who he is. So when he tries his hardest to at least try to make a go at anything he is stunned that Ella is holding back. Will Ella do a really great job at impressing Will or will it be the one thing that he regrets doing. Also will Ella give into temptation with Will or will she manage to hold back from the temptation. The only way that you are going to know any of this is if you pick up this book, I promise you that you won't regret it as this is equally as good as all of the other books that I have read by Hazel Kelly. This is the first book in a five part series and trust me you won't want to miss it.

First, I want to talk about Ella. I love her character. She’s strong and determined. Despite having to move back home after college and living with her mom in a cramped apartment, Ella is goal oriented and does everything she can to make a name for herself. She’s the type of heroine that I like to read about. She stands her ground and doesn’t take anything from anyone. So from the beginning, I loved Ella.

Her mother runs a charity organization and that leads Ella to meet the rich and sexy Will Abbott at the famous Abbott Hotel. Immediately, Will is attracted to Ella and not only for her looks. Will is enamored by the confident strong Ella and is hoping to get to know her very intimately.

Will is also a very determined man. He is used to getting what he wants. Unfortunately for him, Ella is not giving in to him. She resists his constant flirtation, especially after he offers her a trial job at his hotel. It’s a dream come true for Ella. Right now, all she wants to do is focus on her career and get out on her own.

The chemistry between Will and Ella is amazing. They each give and take. It’s entertaining to read their conversations and you can almost feel the sexual tension between them. The story had me on edge the whole time wondering not only if but also when would Ella finally give in to Will. She denies him for many reasons with the most important being that she wants the trial job to me on a more permanent basis. Her moral compass is leading her to not sleep with her boss. She wants people to know that she got the job on merit and not because she’s the boss’s new bed toy. (See why I love her so!)

Will Ella give in? Will Ella get the job she desires? You’ll have to read to find out! The story is truly addictive. Luckily for me, the second volume is out and I can go straight into it after this one. The book was well written and Hazel Kelly shows massive potential for this to be an exciting tale of Will and Ella.

I really enjoy these type of books. I know everyone says that it's just billionaire gets the girl but I think I will always love these kind of books.
I do really despise that the author gives you the first one free to get you into story and then the rest are a lot more money, I don't mind the .99
I love the chase that Will has to do for Ella. They didn't even kiss until the book was almost done. The suspense was sure there!
I couldn't wait much longer for them to get together and then, BAM! she walks out! Oh my, so disappointing! but there is another book.

For the beginning of a series this is a wonderful start to a story. So very sweet, sexy & hilarious. Loved it!!! Such a fun story. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book. I love both characters, Will and Ella. exciting to read about expensive food hotels and other things. Ella is a funny girl & I laughed my ass off when she choked on the Mint & Will had to do the Heimlic maneuver. Too freaking funny.

I loved the descriptions about the Christmas party Ella planned. I could picture it all! The conversations going on in Will's mind were funny and charming. The banter between Ella and her girlfriend was hysterical and realistic. Can't wait to read more in the series!
