Men's Devotional Bible

This would be a very solid resource but I hesitate in recommending this particular Bible with one of the commentators being Rob Bell and with how wacked out his theology has become and is morphing into.

This Bible is wonderful. Not only does it have all the scriptures, but it has little devotionals for women to help us through some difficult times and times in general. It brings us closer to God and His words that we can take comfort in. I would highly recommend this Bible for Christian women out there.

I downloaded this Bible on my kindle. The daily devotionals are written by great women in the world and lend something to myself and other women to relate in our own lives. They also pertain to the part of the Bible you happen to be reading also. I love it!

I purchased this book for my husband who is currently in Iraq. He asked for a better bible he could use during his time from home and I came across this book. I happened to mail it to myself then to my husband. The first thing that caught my eye were the colors! Great, calming color of blue and deep brown! The pages have a light blue tint to them and the font and size is easy to read. The pages are quite thin though! This might be a problem if he happens to use a Hi-Lighter or ink pen to write notes.

The book has a great 'day by day' format and at the end of each section, is a 'suggested reading' of that particular section! It is amazing! My husband was very happy to receive this book and was very happy to get started on reading. He says the book is easy to read and each section is short and to the point. The chapters give you short questions to think about while/after you read. There are small parts that give you a few short 'need to know facts'.

In the back of the book there are a few pages that give reading suggestions: Read the Bible in a year, Read the Bible in 60 days, One with God, Famous battles in the Bible, Unknown People of the Bible.

Overall, a SUPER great book! Couldn't have gave my husband a better Bible!

I love this Bible! I purchased this Bible for my father, and he loved it! I have the women's version of it, and it is such a great resource. I utilize the daily Bible studies, which are quite relevant to my personal life. I would highly recommend this Bible to anyone interested in an interactive Bible!

Love this bible ! So easy to read , great devotional and the added scriptures tie in other area of the bible ! I have been using this bible for over 20 yrs on and off . I never tire of it . Full of wisdom and insight . Makes an awesome gift !

This bible is very versatile with daily devotions, related scripture verses and introductions to each book telling who wrote the book and who it is written to, as well as a timeframe when it was written.

My husband LOVES this Bible. The devotions really minister to him while providing structure for continued Bible reading and study of the scriptures in NIV format. He says the additional devotional scripture listings chain-link him thru the Bible as he seeks God's wisdom in prayer, providing even greater exposure to the Word of God.

"Faith comes by hearing; and hearing by the Word of God;" while the mind is "renewed by the washing of the water of the Word."

I believe this Bible and others like it (such as the Wonen Devotional Bibles Version1 and 2) provide the right balance of Godly wisdom, counsel, and experience with the Word of God to help foster true discipline in personal private time in the secret place or prayer closet with God, in order to truly develop the kind of love King David had for God's Word. This Bible is a blessing.
