Brad Meltzer series of Ordinary People books are terrific for children. They are a great way to learn about history and important people without intimatiting them from big boring text books at school. We have a few of this series and they are funny and my son really loves it. This one is no different and he remembers everything he reads and when I asked him about what it was about and what Amelia did, he was able to tell me right away without any comprehension problems. Overall, we love this book and rate it 5 out of 5 STars.

I bought this book for my granddaughter named Amelia and she loves it. It has quickly become one of her favorite books. It shows Earhart as a dare devil girl who will do what it takes to get wheat she wants.

These books written by Brad Meltzer are great to read to kids or by themselves. They hold their attention and make it fun to find a new explorer or hero. Can't wait for his next two books on Rosa Parks and Albert Einstein

A book filled with determination and joy in the face of adversity but also done in a way that shows how any one can make a difference. Also not many books have been written for heroines and this is one of the best.

This was nicely crafted, including the illustrations. However, it avoids completely any reference to the disappearance of Earhart, and even children should be aware of the uncertainty surrounding her disappearance.

I bought this book for my niece Amelia. Since her daddy is a pilot, I decided to buy her this book to give to her Mom at the baby shower. It's a really cute book and everyone at the shower loved it; especially since she's named after Ms. Earhart. <3
