Premium Slimline Reference Bible NLT - Dark Brown/Dusty Blue)

A true translation as easy to read as most paraphrased Bibles. I use mine as primary read now and in conjunction with my New King James version Study Bible I've had for 25 years. My wife has her own NLT ordered at the same time and finds it equally enriching.

This Bible is great for reading. The translation is both accurate (a true translation, not a paraphrase) and yet very readable. The print size is not quite large print, but still easier to read than a regular print Bible and certainly easier than the slimline Bibles of my youth. The Bible is relatively thin for a larger print, which means the page size dimensions are bigger, which makes the Bible easy to lay out flat, but maybe not as comfortable to carry if you carry yours around a lot.

My husband and I exchanged bibles this valentines day and I got him this one. He absolutely loves it. (and we are a hip 21 year old couple so this bible is for young folks too.) He really likes the size of the font and the outside of the bible is very 'manly'. We are definitely pleased with this purchase.

It is a modified large print...it is still bigger than some print that you see but it is not a large print that you immediately think of it. I do like the size of the bible, fits good in my purse. I do wish there was more commentary at the bottom of the pages. But it is a very good bible.

Pleased with the the store service. I use the Bible daily and this is the second NLT translation that the pages started falling out, same publisher. Ordered second NLT hoping this wouldn't happen again. A little perturbed with Tyndale House Publishers, Inc. Maybe they just don't know, because no one has complained. I'm not willing to send the Bible back,, because I write in my Bible and do not want to lose my notes, These are the only Bibles I have ever had problems with the pages falling out.

Excellent format that is easy to read with the slightly larger print. This is a no frills Bible with no commentary, although it has the standard "tools" at the back of the Bible. If your a Bible student looking to glean what the Lord is teaching through the Word, or a discipler working with men where a compact, easy to read translation is needed, this is the one.

I like the large print and translation but the pages are thin and highlighter bleeds through. I feel like the quality of the binding wont last to long but for price I really didnt expect a top quality product.
