I liked this novel because it was sad and joyous. Finding Christ in death, and becoming strong in faith is what helped the heroine in this novel. It quoted so many bible scriptures that wove around the story of several families. Definitely a plus five stars.

The story from Land of dust and tears...developes as Rose continues her life in the west. The characters are well developed with believable story lines. It takes place in the mid 1800.s . Great at keeping your interest and turning the pages. It's hard to put down. If you like historical era fiction type of books then you will enjoy this book.

I Thoroughly enjoyed this story. Will look for more in this hopefully series. It was very well written and held my attention through out. It was not a mystery type but rather a very touching love story and very real in it's presentation. It shows how God's love is still here with us even in tragedy and loss. I love historical romance and this is one of the best.

This is an encouraging story of a woman's Spiritual journey. I would recommend reading "Wild Heart on the Prairie" first, it will give you more insight and backstory, and I think it makes reading this book more enjoyable. VERY well written

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was well written and the characters were allowed to grow. It is a clean story more involved in two people who come to love each other and not getting all wrapped up in a lot of angst and problems.

Good easy read. Although the story is very steeped in faith and religion it's filled with emotion and adventure as well. You find yourself rooting for the main character and yearning for the wide open prairie along side of her.

Loved writing which seemed to realistically show hardships and determination of the earlier settlers and the ways that the settlers could help each other for survival. Great love story developing thru the acts of friendliness of neighbors.

I especially like the story line through this sequel...though I couldn't stop reading until I finished volume 5!

I appreciate a wholesome romance with well-developed characters and challenges that might have been typical in those time frames and locations.

Wonderful story of turning a young woman's tragedy into an interesting adventure of time and place while seeking God and learning the joys of living with the assurance that He loves her and will prove Himelf the God who is more than enough. Would enjoy reading more of this series.

This is a great read and I really enjoyed experience ing the families setting up homes in the new country. My own grandfather came here from Holland and probably had the same kind of experiences. I would recommend the book to anyone . It helps to understand how our great country was built buy struggling people very much as we are in an earlier time.

Sad but good story with Christian values . Well written . I enjoy reading of Roses' journey as she walked through the fire after she lost her husband and three precious children in the fridge river after a tragic accident while crossing the bridge on their way home. I will read all of the Prairie Heritage books.

I enjoyed reading this book. Although most romantic novels are pretty predictable, this one had plenty of twists right out of the gate. It made me laugh and made me cry. I am an avid reader and I couldn't put this one down.
