Promise of Wrath (The Hellequin Chronicles Book 6)

This book starts fast and only speeds up, very difficult to put down! Added some new characters and answered quite a few questions. Hellequin has powered up again and I can't wait for what his future entails.

Really enjoy the author and the series, and they seem to just keep getting better. I love the idea of the old gods and Avalon being around and Steve McHugh writes a good tale with a lot of action and suspense. Well worth reading if you are in the series

I've read and purchased each and every Jellequin series book. All have been worth every minute of time it takes to read. Love the story and characters with the amazing world within a world that has been created.

Once again the Hellequin Chronicles blend myth and modern in what is rapidly becoming one of my favourite series. If you haven't read any of them, do yourself a favour and buy them all and read them. If you have read them...read them again.

While this is a great series that keeps me hooked until the end and wanting more. It's to the point that I wonder how Nate has lived so long. He gets betrayed and used has information withheld from him ever book by his friends and allies then turns around and forgives most of them,and keeps trusting them and the information without reservation. He sappouse to be one of the greatest assassin s to have lived and the stuff if nightmares,yet everybody hr rushes head in into most situations,falls into traps,and gets jumped,and has little control over his emotions. Then add to that all most of these people come after him for being a henchman. Are the people he worked for really that scary that,since no one seems to go after them or even ask who he was working for. Also find it weird fire magic gives him night vision amd not thermal also happy Kasy is a Pokemon. It's so disappointing to find out how much of this crap could have been avoided with a little trust and then they turn around and do some crap they are going to hide from their allies

I really enjoy this series, and have recommended it to numerous friends and family. Nice and dark, yet funny. Getting a view into mythology in the current times can be extremely difficult, McHugh does a very fun version. Looking forward to the next one.

Love all the characters. Foxes, giants, sorcerers, gods, dwarves, dragons....oh my. Do yourself a favor and start this series. You will easily get lost in the story and be sad when you have to wait for the next book.

Highly recommend this book and all in the series i havent found a book series this ingrossing and gripping in a very long time. if you like the myths or stories of the different gods of cultures would recommend this to any fantasy fans. cant wait for the next book!

Loved this entry in the series. Stumbled upon this series in Jan when I bought my first tablet and devoured all the books released at that point. Waiting for this entry sucked but was worth the wait. Can't wait for #7!

I am addicted to this series, and have purchased every book as it came out. The writing is addictive and the main characters amusing, snarky and fun. I am following Steve and will by buying more of his writing as it comes out.

My friends and I who are reading this are now converting others. I hope the movie people pick this up, it would be a ton of fun.
