The Poky Little Puppy (A Little Golden Book Classic)

I chose this because we are expecting our first great grandchild and our granddaughter had requested that instead of a card for her shower a book be substituted so the baby would have many years of enjoyment from the books. I had purchased the Poky Little Puppy fabric to make a quilt for the baby. When all was completed we were able to send the quilt with the matching book. They loved both!

I remember getting this book as a young child and my parents reading it to me. Then they read it to my children and other nieces and nephews. I knew I needed it for my soon to be grandchild. I cannot wait to read it to them in a year or so. Many happy memories.

This book stands the test of time. My children loved this book 38 years ago and now I'm reading it to my grandchildren and they love it, as well. It is such a sweet and cute book especially for those who love dogs.
