How to Catch a Monster

My3yr6mth grandson had a problem making the switch from 'monster' to the father. The 'change' was too abrupt for him on the first reading. I'm not so sure that the monster/father should be lured into the room by cookies..and then swing his son around right before bedtime...but there is charm in the illustrations and the message to make bedtime a happy event is lovely..

Another great story from Michael and Rachel Yu; my son's name is 'Eric' so he really loved this one! Great story with the monster theme, but super sweet, not at all frightening for younger audiences. The illustrations are vibrant and bring the story to life, as is typical of these authors. Really love this; perfect length for bedtime. My kids are three and five, and both thoroughly enjoyed it.

Playtime With Monster was such a fun book to read! I enjoyed it immensely...and I know it will be tons of fun to read with my little ones.

The illustrations were beautifully done and the story was very well written. I was wondering who the monster was and wasn't disappointed.

I definitely recommend this book, especially if you have children-it would be a wonderfully fun bedtime story!

My favorite thing about this book were the awesome illustrations. Wow! Loved the vivid colors and textures. One of the most professional looking indie ebooks I've seen and on par (or above) with published children's books. The story was cute and also so much better than most indie ebooks. Ican see kids asking for this story to be read many times and wanting a monster of their own!

I got this ebook when it was once offered for free, but it is definitely worth buying.
