Waylaid (Kindle Single)

This was an amazing story. I wasn't sure how a Rachel-Peri mashup would work initially, but I was pretty impressed with how nicely it all came together. I love that it gives a good contrast between the two leading ladies, it seems to be a nice way to ease the Hollows fans into the Drafter universe. I can't wait to read the next book in the Drafter series now!!

It was a good short story ... nice to have an old friend meet a new friend. I went in knowing it was a short story so wasn't expecting to much. I did get more then I expected and really did enjoy it.

Loved this short story of Peri and Rachel. I'd like to list all the things I enjoyed but don't want to spoil it. If you like Rachel and are thinking of trying the new Peri books, this story is a great sampler.

If you love Rachel Morgan and Peri Reed, you won't be disappointed in this action packed little short! As usual, Kim's dialogue and action flows seamlessly with the story. The story takes place in Peri's world, but Kim drops Rachel in there like she belongs. Definitely left me wanting more with these two together!

I always enjoy my time in the Hollows and I am still excited to visit Peri. This put me in the middle of both and was done without compromising either world.

Great read for both Rachel and Peri fans or for someone wanting a quick glimpse into both worlds to see if its somewhere they want to go.

Another fantastic Kim Harrison story. I've missed Rachel and Jenks so it was great to see them. The mash up of Peri and Rachel was very well done, especially with how different their worlds are. I only wished it was longer ;)

Overall a very interesting story. Left me wanting a little more and I was suprised when it ended as there was quite a bit left in the "kindle book" which turned out to be a chapter from something else...
