No Strings Attached (Falling for You Book 1)

This is a promising start to a new comtempory series. We have the requisite hot tattooed gentlemen but with lots of great twists. He is kind. He took care of his dying mother and his just returned from war brother. He is not a bad boy and while not a virgin by a long stretch he isn't a man ho and does not treat women like objects until he meets the one. Best of all, he puts his life on hold so the heroine can achieve her dreams. I give you, Jace, awesome hero.

The heroine is smart and fun and little slow on the uptake as she had suppressed her feeling for her childhood friend way down.

This is a fast good read and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

I started reading this last night with the intention of only reading one chapter. I hate going to bed without being in the middle of a book! This completely backfired. I had to finish it. I love the best friends turned lover ploy, so I am definitely the target market for this book. Since it's a novella, I was luckily able to get some sleep, but it was steamy sleep! This book definitely is one hot story! Even though it's fairly short, it didn't feel like it was too short. Jace and Hayden are a sweet couple, and I admit that I was quickly rooting for them... long before they were trapped in the storage room alone. ;)

I think the part of this book that I liked the most was the ending. Not doing any true spoilers, but Hayden doesn't give up her dream. I find that admirable in an age where a lot of novels have the women dropping whatever they want to do with their life because a man is hot in bed. Go Hayden! I see the preorder price on this book is only 99 pennies, and I would definitely say it's worth it. This is a quick and steamy read that would be enjoyed by anyone that reads contemporary romance!

All I can say is: I want more!!!!

Oh, how I loved this little novella. It's so hard for me to get hooked on a book nowadays because I read so much, but No Strings Attached had me glued to all 62 pages of its pure awesomeness. And, I was seriously smiling and laughing the whole time I was reading this. My only complaint? There wasn't enough of it! I want more Hayden and Jace. And possibly some more Nate because dammit if I don't love a sexy set of brothers!

I loved Jace and Hayden so much. No Strings Attached takes place in one night, where Hayden is determined to have one last night of fun before she leaves to dangerous territories to take pictures for Time magazine. She goes to a club, owned by her best friend Jace, looking for a one-night stand. The thing is, Jace has been secretly in love with her for some time now and he's heartbroken that she's leaving. Right from the start, their chemistry is sizzling. I love that Jace is a bit of an alpha male (my favorite) and he's quite protective of Hayden. He's also super sweet and was there to comfort Hayden when her ex cheated on her. This is basically a story of long-time friends who fall in love.

Because of their history, it's easy to see and believe that they love each other. The attraction is obviously there, and I'm a sucker for a relationship that starts off as just friends. Jace is so swoonworthy and such a sweetheart. You all know how much I love dual POVs, so it was nice seeing how Jace felt about Hayden. It really increased the passion level in this book. One of the things I loved most was the book wasn't only sexy, it was truly sweet. Jace cares deeply for Hayden and once he realizes it, he does everything in his power to make sure she knows it. That ending was so touching, adorable, and romantic. HEART!!!

No Strings Attached is easily one of my favorite novellas from Brazen, or just in general actually. I devoured it. Everything moves pretty fast, but it wasn't rushed, which was great. Nicolette's writing is fun and witty. Her characters are sexy, smart, and intriguing. I also loved the dialogue. Let's face it, I loved everything about this book. Please tell me there will be a story about Nate, Jace's super hot brother?! I need more!!!

This novella was a complete FLIRT!!!! I wanted so much more!!!

In No Strings Attached Hayden gets the job of her dreams. She's ready to leave everything behind and start a new life without looking back. Jace, her best friend, is not taking the news very well. He will do everything in his power to make her change her mind.

The connection between them was real, their chemistry was hot and this is what makes No Strings Attached a quick, fun and steamy read.

The characters in No Strings Attached were great. Jace was an awesome character. I loved his back story and found myself connecting with him. Hayden, on the other hand, felt some what stiff to me. She's a great character and I enjoyed reading her story but I just didn't connect with her the way I did with Jace. It could have been that she was acting completely out of the ordinary for herself, aka deciding to have a one night stand with a stranger, but something was just off to me.

I'd love to revisit the characters, perhaps in a longer story, and get to know them better. I'm also interested in Lilly and Nate's story (Do I smell a second book, maybe?). I'm definitely a sucker for military men.

Overall, No Strings Attached is a fast, fun and easy read. It's the perfect friends-to-lovers story for anyone and everyone.

Okay, yes, I know it¡¦s a novella. Nevertheless I really liked the book and the characters. I wanted more of them º

No Strings Attached by Nicolette Day was a very sexy and fun read. I loved Jace. He was hot with his tattoo and overprotectiveness over his ¡§best friend¡¨.

The body shot scene was the perfect start for the steamy storage room affair. :D

I would have liked to get to know a bit more about Hayden. Jace¡¦s character was well developed even though it was such a short story and his actions made total sense due to his background. However I would have liked to know why Hayden was the way she is.

Nevertheless this was very enjoyable. I can only recommend it!

Oh My Goodness! This was such a good story wrapped up in such a tiny book. This was a Netgalley review book, and I just jumped right in not even noticing that it was so short. Nothing about the length hindered this story, and I loved every minute. Hayden and Jace have known one another for years, so it was not necessary for a tremendous amount of detail. With just the right amount of direction, readers find that connection between the two character easily. This is hot and steamy romantic read. I hesitate to call this a novella, I found it more of a short story. That is not to say that it wasnt well written, just that it was missing some character development and background that ,might have made it a stronger read for me. It was a fast sexy read that I liked however. I find the Entangled Brazen offerings great for my ereader they're affordable and for the most part I can count on them being enjoyable as well.

So this is my first foray into the world of Nicolette Day. For those that don't know Ms Day is the minxy alter-ego of Tara Fuller whose YA release Inbetween I absolutely adored. I love her writing style so to get my hands on something a little different by her made my day and believe me, No Strings Attached does not disappoint!

No Strings Attached tells the story of Hayden Summers and Jace Jennings. Hayden is out for one last night with her assistant Lily before she travels abroad to take up a job as a photographer which may put her in danger. Before she leaves though there's one thing she's determined to do and that is to finally wash her old boyfriend right out of her hair. Cue Jace's bar. Jace is a childhood friend who clearly isn't happy about her going away, and he hasn't made a secret of it. In fact he's as displeased about that as he is about the men leering at her in the bar that he owns. You see, Jace is a man in lurve and as we quickly learn there's nothing he won't do to keep Hayden all to himself, even if it means putting their friendship on the line at times.

I loved this book! I devoured every page and was genuinely disappointed when I came to the end. Unlike a lot of the adult reads that are hitting the shelves at the moment there are no dark secrets that leave these two bitter and twisted and gnarled inside, no-one has the urge to beat anyone and no-one is being chased by stalkers, bitter exes or the office CEO. Instead No Strings Attached revolves around friends who become lovers and in writing this novella Day has created two really likeable characters. The story briefly delves into their childhood, following the change in their relationship as things suddenly get serious and I really liked getting to see a little of their past as it adds context to the here and now making the read all the smoother for it. Hayden and Jace are two realistic characters that have normal relationship hang-ups, who struggle with them from time to time but who both have actual real social skills! Imagine! That doesn't mean that Day doesn't deliver the sexy time. Far from it! The two protagonists have an amazing chemistry and their physical relationship is made more intense by the emotional ties that already exist between them. Oh, and um, body shots? Hello! There is a spark between these two right from the beginning, even when they're too busy antagonising each other to see what's going on under their own noses but that doesn't mean that they're afraid to show each other their weaknesses and that's what makes their relationship so endearing. The result is a sexy read that pulls at the heartstrings in equal measure.

I have to say if there were to be a sequel or two to this series, I wouldn't complain. Something about Nate and Lilly perhaps? Or maybe a what happened next? I could happily read about Jace all the live long day! Both would be well received!

Hayden is your ambitious woman with a decision that her long time Best Friend isn't happy with. Jace has been avoiding Hayden not wanting to face her. She is concerned because she knows Jace is upset and is afraid that their friendship is ruined.

Jace has had his fair share of heartache and problems along the way. Jace had to grow up fast at a young age.

Both have feelings for the other that have been there for a long time but they are too afraid to confess as that may ruin everything between them.

I am not usually a fast reader but after I started it I couldn't stop.

This is a great read! It's short but has so much packed into it. Apprehension, Love, friendship, HOT SEX, HOT Guy and some humor. What more could you ask for?

this was a great story although short. hayden and jace are best friends. when hayden decides to go to middle east for her dream job jace cannot leave her. hayden has a broken heart by her cheating ex so she decides to have a one night stand. she didn't know that jace's offer would be an offer for forever love. both characters are great. hayden is sweet and jace sexy and protective. we see both point of views which gives more to the story. i wish it was longer because i loved it.

I want more! It's left me wanting much much more!

It's well written, has great characters and there's a lot crammed into it. Sexy hot and steamy, with moments that tug on the heartstrings and those that are touching, the potential was there to have made a great full length novel.

Have I said I want more? Well I do and if this is paving the way for a series, then sign me up. I shall be a more than willing reader.

Good storyline and character development. Nicolette Day set the scene like a champ and I swear I was at that bar! Loved her thorough descriptions. Also a perfect amount of that tension we all know and love and build up and a very satisfying end. What else can I say...I wish it was longer but at the same time I don't...I wouldn't change something that was so good. For the price, this is a good read!

Loved it. Even though it was super short I felt like the author was able to convey the relationship between Hayden and Jace well. Those two were super hot together and I loved their chemistry. I definitely can't wait to read more from this author.

Best friends to best lovers? Delightful story of two friends who finally discover and act on the deep feelings they have for each other. It only took being locked in the stockroom of a bar to make them realize their feelings run deep.

This book was a short novella, very quick but enjoyable read. I thought it was sweet and had some steam to it as well. It's a classic best friends might want to be more story, but it had some interesting twists and made for a good time.

This book is short and sweet without feeling short but keeping all of the sexy sweet...and by sexy I mean Jace. Oh, and the little sip of Nate we get, leaves me wanting more from that fella! Big time more!

I loved this book. I'm a sucker for protective men with a lot going on under the surface and Nicolette Day totally delivers that in Jace. I fell for Hayden and Jace - totally had a goofy-faced book hangover when it ended. Their story made me melt and I was already half-melted from the steamy sex. Definitely recommend!

I think everyone who reads this will want a Jace in their lives. Hayden is off to the Sudan and wants one night to remember while she is gone. Little does she know that her best friend Jace want it to be with him. I'm not going to spoil things but let's say the body shots is rather steamy, and you'll have to read this book to find out what happens.

I really enjoyed this one and can't wait to read the next. It was erotic and romantic and just plain good. You wish you were in her shoes or well out of them when the good stuff...even the bad is happening.
