I think that every girl should read this book. It is the perfect book for girls ages 9- forever! I read it because my friend read it and she told me what a great book it was and i decided to see if it was great. It was and i am so sure that i will read it again and again until my copy of the book falls apart! "Just as Long as we are Together" helps girls who are expecally ones going through puberty, because the girls in the story are. Step, Rachel, and Alison tell you what your in for with out just saying it plainly! I also recamend " Heres to You Rachel Robinson"!

This novel is an excellent selection to read. It is one of the best books I have read and I really enjoyed reading the novel. As I was reading I realized how much I was able to relate to the situations that occured and that is what kept me reading throughout the whole novel. All I can say is," With a friendship like these three girls, you are bound to get through anything." I especially reccomend this book to young adults or to those who enjoy reading books written by Judy Blume.

This book was really well written. I think the athour made these three girls come alive right before my eyes. It was so real to me that I thought I was one of the girls and her name was Alison. This is my favorite book because the things that happened were like the same things that happen today in our lives.

I first read this book when i was 9 yrs old, i'm 21 now, and i read it again about a week ago. It is still a great book, it's nice to be able to read something easily and still get a good laugh out of it, or to be able to understand where these girls are coming from. When i have children i will def recommend judy blume books to them, she's a wonderful writer that truly can relate to pre-teens and teenagers, and that's something that is very rare to find!

This book is about three friends, Stephanie, Alison, and Rachael. It is from the perspective of 12 year old Stephanie. Stephanie is friendly and optimistic (according to Rachael). Rachael is very senstitive and a straight A student, and Alison is friendly, funny, and senstitive. The three friends get along well together but they do come to some problems.
This book is all about friendship, school, and 7th grade girls. It is a book that once you start, you cannot put down.

I bought this book at an elementary school bookfair. It quickly became one of my favorite books. I liked it so much I used to read it once a year, usually around Thanksgiving. I felt that Stephanie and her friends were characters that I could relate to. It was a real coming-of-age book for me.

I cry every time I read this book.Every time I read this story I look at it from a different angle. This tale will touch reader's hearts everywhere. It truly is the best masterpiece Ms. Blume has ever written.

As an average 10 year old, I read all of the Juudy Blume books, and to this day still love to go back and read them. Call me crazy, but even at 22, I see this book as something I could relate with, something that reflected the world I live in. If only all of the world's authors were as realistic as Blume... Thank you Judy for giving me something to relate to as a child and as an adult!

About 10 years ago, I read this book and thought it was absolutely amazing. Honestly, it was one of the most upfront books that I've ever read with 11 years old. Judy Blume did a great job writing this book! Now that I'm 21, I can honestly say that this is will remain to be one of my favorite childhood books. :)

I loved this book! It talks about real issues girls have and is very well written. If you likes this book, you should definitely read Here's to You, Rachel Robinson, the companion to this book.
This book is not inappropriate, although I wouldn't recommend it to someone younger than 10.

This book is a great one. It shows the highlights and downsides of friendship, teenage romances, and family problems and values. This book is great for teenagers both in jr. high and highschool. I would reccommend this book. Its awesome!

As a mother of an 8 year old who is reading at a 6th grade level, I have realized that I must now pre-read what she is interested in. I feel that Judy Blume did a great job with the younger set books:i.e.SuperFudge. Then she decided somewhere along the way that she needs to introduce young girls to the ways of the world. Chapter 35 did it for me. Young girls are faced with such issues as French Kissing, Being pressured to go all the way and sexual urges. With the following that Judy has it is hard for me to accept that she bends along with the media to promote the normalization of promiscuity among children.I realize that we must all deal with the facts of life at some point...but it is not Judy's place to take nice friendship stories and make sex so commonplace in kids lives. Sorry...we are no longer in her fan club.

I hated this book...dont listen to everyone else who says its so good. I can not relate to these girls....Stephanie, Rachel or Allison. I personally hated Allison and Stephanie. Rachel was the only character I liked. Stephanie, the main character was rude and a bitch....I mean if her friend didnt want to tell her that she was in a smart kid class she didnt have to!!! She practically stalks all of her friends. I hate this book SO much and it's totally unoriginal. It's a stupid teenybopper book and the characters are SO freaking annoying!!!!!

I started reading this book on shaky ground - Judy Blume can be intense. I stopped reading - it was totally inapropriate for even a 6th grade girl like me with use of the "a" word, mention of sex, and Stephanie's parents having a trial separation. I really didn't like it from the start. If you are a conservative parent on the look for child-safe books, stay away from Judy Blume.
