Ms Sands never misses with her books. I love that we learn all of the familial connections as each new book is released. It would be great if she provided us readers a chart so that we could keep track of how the characters are released and whom their lifemates are.

Scotty, the Scottish Laird, UK Hunter leader, is the source of her fantasies. For decades he has haunted her days with his intolerance and indifference, while her dreams have been filled with passion as he invaded them. Beth is a woman who was haunted by her past, until she learned to move on and accept life's hand. She is strong and resilient and one of Mortimer's best hunters.
Denial and love make a man crazy, even an immortal one. Crazy for her. She's his life mate and she has no idea. He's been such a fool and made so many mistakes. But, really! Trouble finds Beth like a magnet!
Lifemate sex is ????! And these two are no different! Nothing is as it seems with these two. What a ride! Prepare for danger, passion, confusion, judgment and lifemate sex! Oh! And love! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love this series for some reason. I don't mean they aren't good books or not well written because they are. I guess I just mean these books are like a guilty pleasure for me. They are fast moving, fun, easy to read vampire love story's. They are not what I'd call literary fiction exactly lol. But they are my very favorite of all the vampire love stories. I like the way Me Sands writes. She has a way offering a story flowing that it's hard to stop until the end. Now this story I only have four stars because it wasn't o elf her best ones. Not that it wasn't good it was but I like it when she ads in a little more humor to the story. It's one thing I love about these books is that most of them also make me laugh a lot. I will be looking forward to the next book in this series.

Not personally my favorite of this series, but she’s always good for a fun and quick read. Didn’t feel the plot or hurdles to be as strong in this one as her others, but love the touch of Scotland.

She did it again. How the stories can be the same and so different is beyond me. I am so glad that Lynsay has not gone to ghost writers like so many good writers have done so they can produce more books. I will continue to buy your books until the quality comes down.
Again thank you for your time and effort to entertain the masses!

Beth and Scotty had a rough road getting together.
Beth had a horrid childhood and womanhood, until Dree came into her life. Then another bad bit. It took her over 100 years and a dog to learn to fully love herself again. That’s something many of us never learn, unfortunately.
Scotty is much older, and was also molded by his childhood experiences. He finally gets his head straight, of course, but takes awhile.
I really liked Beth’s speech toward the end about loving herself.
I liked that we get to know a bit more about the overseas enforcers.
There’s a lot of female power in this series.
The baddie is a bit obvious, but that’s okay.

I think I was a little bit disappointed in this book. It’s not as good as her usual books about this family. I mean all the usual people were there and Scotty was there and Beth but there was something missing. Yes there was a venture but it wasn’t the kind of a venture they usually go on and Scotty was denying himself basically that she was a true life mate. Anyway it was a fairly good story where Scotty saves with numerous times and you know since she is his like me but he still denying it somehow because profession when she was mortal.

He waited 125 years for her, for her to be ready to accept him. She thinks he hates her. There is definitely some things that need splaining (an I Love Lucy reference, in case you did not recognize the word). But before they can work it out, they need to find out who is trying to kill her. This was a great story, a lot of past emotional pain to work through.

I been a following Lynsay Sands and her first release of the Argeneau series and always hope for more. To many years under the bridge. I find them funny with romance, drama, and a hell of a lot of strong paranormal characters. Worthy and kept me up at night to finish.

Lynsay Sands has done it again. I have loved every book in the series and Immortally Yours does not disappoint. I loved Scotty and Beth together and I loved how his protective side came out when Beth was in trouble. I also enjoyed all of the secondary characters as well. What a great book! I can’t wait until the next book is released.

I risk repeating myself.
Lynsay Sands has been writing the Argeneau series since I first started reading paranormal romance -- in fact, my Navy roommate let me read Sherrilyn Kenyon's Fantasy Lover, and the next day I went out and bought a ton of like books, of which Single White Vampire was one. I've kept up with the series ever since, and one of the main aspects of the books that keep me coming back is that I largely don't know what to expect. Will it be a thriller like Immortal Hunter? A romantic comedy like Once in a Vampire Moon? A drama that cracks open the series like Vampire, Interrupted? There's always a mystery, but there are different shades of darkness to the books. Immortal Unchained, the book before this one, was an Island of Dr Moreau type horror romantic comedy.
This one, Immortally Yours, was dark and funny and romantic and more emotionally complex than some of the others. I would put it up there ALMOST with Vampire Most Wanted. It's runner up to Vampire Most Wanted in Darkest Backstory in an Argeneau category. And Lynsay Sands has given the couple an interesting romantic background as well.
All in all, I would say that Sands continues to write fun and refreshing and dark and wonderful stories about the Argeneaus. I can't wait for Twice Bitten!

For someone that has read each one of the previous books in this series, I am still in love with the Immortals. Each new addition to the series gives you a different look at the world of the Immortals and a second, third, fourth, twenty-sixth look at some of the characters that allowed you to fall in love with this series. I found as usually where the Immortals go so does trouble and danger follow or proceed. We find this time around we have Scotty and Beth. For well over a century Beth has felt this connection to Scotty. For that same time, Scotty has known that Beth was his lifemate. He allowed space and time for her to mature and take on her own. Now danger is very near and he will be also. This was a read for you. Scott and Beth both have their challenges but once that obstacle has been traversed they are good together. We even get to see some of our past couples.

Wow. Another great Argeneau series story. When I first read the synopsis and it stated that Scotty did not claim his life mate for 125 years I was intrigued about how that was possible. But Lynsay Sands wrote a great story for Scotty and Beth. This storyline was definitely different from the other Argeneau love stories in that there were some very dark and sad moments in Beth's life. Her mortal life was just so heart breaking but she became such a strong woman despite of her past. She's simply amazing, in my opinion. Scotty had some issues to work through and it only took him 125 years but he finally worked it out. And the mysterious villain in this story was totally unexpected, which was great. Kept me reading until the very end. A very entertaining read.

This was a good story but I had some mixed feelings about the hero and it cause some vacillation over the final rating.
**Spoiler warning...I'm going to give some info on Beth & Scotty's past and what Scotty did that I really didn't like**
Beth is an Immortal and is around 180ish years old total, 125 after being turned. She works as an hunter for the Immortal counsel, taking out rogue Immortals that break the rules that all Immortals have to follow. Beth was turned by a rogue and was saved by Immortals. She was in a bad place after her rescue but she's turned her life around and is doing well now.
Scotty is an Immortal and over 800 years old. Scotty was the son of a Scottish lair and was turned by an unknown Immortal who felt responsible for a fatal wound...Scotty doesn't think it was a rogue but he never found out who it was. Scotty is the head of the Rogue hunters in Europe and was part of the team that saved Beth from the rogue 125 years ago.
Beth didn't have a good life. She had been sold into prostitution by her father at the age of 10 and it took a long time for things to get to a good place. When she was an old lady, she and some friends were targeted by a rogue Immortal that turned them. Beth went through hell and when it was over, she hadn't done anything to harm others so she was allowed to live as an immortal. She'd been a bit out of it when she was first rescued though and Scotty (who was part of the rescuing team) thought she should have a mind wipe, thinking the trauma of what she'd been through was just too much for her to handle. He couldn't read her but thought it was because she'd lost her mind. Beth's mind wasn't wiped and she didn't see Scotty for a while...until she applied to become a rogue hunter in Spain and that was just for him to show up to object to her admittance into the program. What she didn't realize is that with that close proximity, Scotty realized she was his lifemate.
Scotty didn't claim Beth right away because she was still angry and messed up about her life. It's only been in the last decade that Beth has been able to leave behind the anger and other destructive emotions plaguing her. I could accept Scotty backing off until she was in a better place. Unfortunately, when he showed up this time, Beth thought he hated her because in the past he'd always been brusque to her and seemed to glower at her. She just didn't realize it wasn't hate but his attempts at restraint. This misunderstanding caused problems because Beth thinks the worse of Scotty when everything comes out...before Scotty can tell her himself.
I could accept all this and found that I really liked Beth and was even liking Scotty. But then he tried again to get Beth to get a mind wipe! I could accept this when he thought she was nuts from what the rogue did to her but to suggest it now, after she'd come to terms with everything just seemed really messed up! He said it was because he didn't want her to have to live with all the terrible memories of her past but really??? Now that she's doing good he wants to wipe her mind? I was pretty shopalled (shopalled = shocked + appalled) that he'd even suggest that after she'd done so well at turning her life around. So, that definitely took things down a bit for me and had me questioning Scotty's mental capacities. Thankfully, Beth is more than willing to stand up for herself and made it quite clear that he was being an idiot. Once Scotty realizes his idiocy, he and Beth are able to work things out so they end the story heading towards a HEA together.
The story itself was pretty enjoyable...before Scotty pulled his crap, I was thinking very good thoughts about it on a whole. And regardless of everything, I still really liked Beth as a heroine. She wasn't bitchy and could be laid back but she was more than willing to stand up for herself when it was needed. The non-romance story wasn't too major but it was interesting enough to help keep the story engaging. Overall, I would recommend it (if you can deal with Scotty's idiocy). :)
* note - I listened to the audio of this story and the narrator did a very good job.

I loved this book. It helped me get over a minor reading funk. I have been slacking on reading, then bam! I read this book in a weekend with no problems.
I think every book in this series is fantastic though.
This time around we have quite a few of the UK Rogue Hunters in Canada to help out, nice to see more new people.
Beth and Scotty have quite the history going on between them, and some hot fireworks.
Beth is a survivor, that's for sure. OMG, the crap she went through in this book plus her actual history. Not many could get through that.
A Must Read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the Argeneau series! The characters and storyline are always well developed. Beth has sported a crush for a long time. Beth is Scotty's life mate. Now throw in a mystery of someone trying to kill Beth. This throws Scotty and her together and he cannot ignore it any longer. He must claim her. I love the humor that is always in a Lynsay Sands book. If you have not started any of the Argeneau series, I urge you to do so. I recommend this book to everyone. I give Immortally Yours 5/5 stars.

I normally love Lynsay Sand's books. This was was just a like for me. This is the story of Beth Argenis (adopted by Drina's family) and Scotty (head of the UK hunters. Beth was kick a*s, she was feisty and could hold her own. Scotty was just OK for me. He had a lot to make up for and i don't feel that he did. We re meet so characters from the very first books but he doesn't go into too much and it's just snippets and them. I do hope that the next books start to go back to how they were when she first started writing this series.

I received a copy of this title to read and review for Wicked Reads
3.5 stars.
I read Immortally Yours as a standalone, as I haven't read the Argeneau series since the very beginning books, eons ago. I wasn't overly confused in the beginning by doing so. Obviously I didn't have past books to put the characters in perspective, but it started off as most UF/PNR books do, so it was easy enough to understand as a standalone. However, I may have enjoyed it more if I was caught up on the series, and had the foreshadowing and past connections to add more layers and emotion to their story.
Beth is a hunter for the Immortal Council (there's a lot I missed out on due to not being caught up, and I didn't rate the book on this, as that's my bad, but it was easy to surmise the world-building after reading many UF/PNR series) Beth is a kick butt and take names heroine. After being immortal for the last 120+ years, she's strong with flaws and saves herself, and has a tragic past.
Scotty is ancient by comparison to Beth. With his thick Scottish brogue, it was humorous trying to figure out what he as actually saying. I enjoyed it, others may have found it a bit much. Other than his accent, I didn't enjoy Scotty as a character. His actions/reaction/how he treated Beth (shaking my head while muttering no underneath my breath).
Without ruining the plot, there is a ton of manufactured angst by immortals who are 120-800 years of age, yet their actions and reactions didn't seem to mirror the maturity they 'should' possess. Miscommunication, holding back, talking around things yet never truly saying what you mean... all as a means to 'draw' it out.
The romance between these two mates spans decades (a century even), so maybe I'm missing out on information from past books. Scotty has known Beth was his mate from the very beginning but left her alone to 'heal' from the traumatic circumstances- Beth's doing well, so why is Scotty still avoiding the obvious? There were predictable story threads outside of the romance dealing with rogues and whatnot, but the romance is front and center.
I found Immortally Yours to be an enjoyable, light read, and thoroughly connected to Beth. She's strong, knows what she wants and how to get it, doesn't bow down to Scotty and do as he says. But she also was rational, never displaying the TSTL tendencies that plague UF/PNR. However, I felt Scotty's 'suggestion' to be so far off base that it kind of ruined the romance for me... just something about his character rubbed me wrong.
I highly recommend for fans of the series and author. My rating does not reflect on the fact that I read it as a standalone, or that I didn't enjoy Scotty as a character. The rating is based on my entertainment/enjoyment factor, and I needed a bit more plot-wise.

What a wonderful story. Beth and Scotty are great characters. Beth is smart but a bit reckless. Scotty is protective and a bit clueless. There's a mystery woven through the story. The plot is good. This novel kept my interest, the characters are OK, although I tired almost instantly with Scotty's Scottish "accent". "Immortally Yours" just lacked depth and more plot variation. Even with this, I'm still a fan of Ms. Sands. Maybe she should take an extended vacation from the Argeneaus. It could help revitalize the series.

This novel is the first I have read from this author that I fell in love with both her writing and her storytelling. I am a huge fan of paranormal and Lynsey takes her characters to a whole new level. Such a delightful story and so very romantic with loads of action. Makes the reading move quickly.

As a Rogue Hunter, the past 125 years have kept Beth Argenis quite busy; she has also taken most of that time to come to terms with her abused human past, but finally, she has achieved a measure of peace. The only thing, or rather person, who throws her off is Laird Cullen “Scotty” MacDonald who has known for much of that time that Beth is his life mate. For all these long years their relationship has been adversarial although Beth has always been very attracted to the stubborn Scotsman. In Beth’s mind, Scotty views her with extreme prejudice even though he once saved her from a Rogue Immortal. Scotty has several excuses for not claiming Beth; however, he will need to change his attitude toward Beth unless he wants to throw away his chance at happiness and a life mate forever.
Beth has been reassigned to Canada from Spain and so has a new boss and territory to learn. When Scotty shows up to help out with a Hunter shortage, their personality and work clashes make for some fun times. Someone seems to be hunting Beth; Scotty will do anything to protect her despite his conflicted feelings. Some of the ‘new hire’ Rogue Hunters like Donny are quite entertaining as they try to learn how to be both vampires and Hunters. I liked Beth’s resiliency and can do attitude. She does not let the menfolk run the show despite Scotty trying to manipulate her so that he can Beth safe. Quite a bit of time is spent on Beth’s human history and Scotty’s dim view of it which makes me less than thrilled with his behavior towards her. Immortals take grudge carrying to a whole new level. Fans of this series should find it enjoyable for the most part.
In this long running Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands, this is book #26.

I love the Argeneau series!! I have read all of the books in the series so far - each one is still different enough that it holds the readers attention and keeps it throughout the entire book. This was one of the more exciting books in the series in awhile. The good thing about this series is that you can start here and be fine or you could have read the entire series and still be fine. The author describes some things in each of the books, but it doesn't take up much of the book and is not a total recap of the series from book 1.
This book gave us "Scotty" and Beth as the primary focus and if you are a series lover than you may remember them from previous books, if you are new to the series you will be just fine starting here and learning about them...and falling in love with them. Scotty and Beth are enemies....or so Beth thinks, until she realizes that she is Scotty's life mate...but there is someone out there determined to make sure that the bond is never formed...is it an enemy, a friend or someone that you would never expect?
The author keeps the action, drama and love flowing and the reader frantically turns the pages of the book trying to figure out what is going to happen next while at the same time dreading the end of the book because they don't want to leave their friends. The book moves at a break neck pace that never slows down a second to give the reader a chance to catch their breath.
Whether this is your first book, your tenth or your 26th - it will instantly become a favorite that you will want to re-read once you finish to catch up on the parts that you might have missed the first time you zoomed through. Add this one and all of her others to your TBR list - you won't be sorry!
