I loved the book and knew it deserves all the stars I could give it. I think it's a tad bit draconian to compel people to write reviews if they want to award stars but whatever. The author is great and well received, and the book is compelling, hard to put down, and the shear number of directions that the story line can follow, is astounding.

Good, well written 2nd book in the series. Some major developments in the plot with a nicely paced book to keep it entertaining. I was glad to see the MC not get too bogged down in managing the faction and still play a central role in the action.

A LitRPG novel by one of my favorite authors.
If you havent read any of this other works then go now. His Yancy Lazarus books are great and so is this one.
I just finished this the 2nd book in this series and am waiting for MORE!

The setting is fun, and the main characters class is unique. I enjoy books where there is a growing force, either a city or guild to read about their rise. This has some guild in it, I did feel it was a short read, but still enjoyable.

This is my second read for this type of book. I loved my first read which was, " Ready Player One." But I have to say, I do believe this read has topped it. This was an honest to goodness page turner.

Great litrpg, fast paced and creative. I look forward to the next installment in this excellent series. Only critique is MC likes to wait to spend stat/skill gains, I just don't understand how one can play underleveled.

Even better than the first . If you like RPG's or you will love this book .How the author somehow manages to stick an awsome book with good storyline ,character development ,fun dialog and action in such a short book is beyond me. Can't wait for the next one. : )

I really enjoyed this book, well paced and well written. I am news to the litrpg genre and I am now a fan. I am not a pretentious critic bigging myself up by putting other credible writers down. A really good read. when's the next one coming out?!

I've noticed a bunch of sections when it lists the quests vertically it skips a bunch of text. Just thought you'd like to know cause I had to infer some things due to that otherwise loved the series so far keep them coming

a nice balance of story and action; game mechanics and just oldschool fantasy. i caught on to the multiple Marine Corp references but even an old Airman had to let it slide the story was just too good ;)
