I am an educated individual and have pursued esoteric works for years. I do not know why this was published. If it makes sense to you, I suggest you stop taking LSD or check into the closest mental health facility for treatment. A total waste of paper and my money.

Crowley may be one of our times biggest genius, and i grief his unfortunate death. This book contains 92 chapters, each containing something different, some are rituals others poems, its a hard book to analyze and thats the magic about it: each person can have his/her own version of the book of lies, one of Crowleys best pieces. Yeah get it before it's out of print again!

This is a very enlightning book, but I don't suggest it for someone who hasn't read any of Crowley's other works or isn't too familiar with the occult. They may find it difficult to grasp and make sense of.

In the Middle East there lies an ancient tomb. The tomb of Issa al Nagar.
Solomon's Temple holds the secret.
What was the Gnostic's secret regarding the relationship of Christ to the Serpent in the Garden of Eden? What did they actually mean by calling Christ the groom and MM the bride? Was their marriage an allegory for something more profound and beautiful? What does Lucifer actually mean? Why did the church suppress the origin of GAT- the goat-headed God of Paleo-Herbrew texts? Why did they suppress YEHWAH's queen, Astarte and later demonize Ba'all and Lilith? How is the Great God Pan celebrated daily in every Christian church? What is the simple truth of the starfire, Alchemy, and sex magick?

Aleister Crowley's genius waxes to a maximum in these simple essays that express the deepest truths of Qabalah as understood from the philosophy and cosmogony of Thelema. This book is a must read for any Thelemite and stands as a shining example of how Qabalah may best be used to understand all of life and consciousness.

The book arrived in excellent condition. You can tell it is brand new! The delivery was speedy. It is an amazing book!!! It was a gift to my husband and he loves it. It swallows him in. For one page read he can come up with numerous pages of notes... he thinks that it is that outstanding. So I would highly recommend this purchase... it's not expensive either!!! :-)

This book is very interesting, I feel it has a depth that a lot of people wouldn't understand and should be approached with caution. It definitely has the power to attract things you may not want around.

This book is over your head. Read it. It changed the world. It has the secret of the OTO 9th Degree in it. It has a most powerful banishing ritual. It has a lot to ponder. At some point your soul will find it usefull. It may become your guide.

Have you heard the saying that if a room full of monkeys typed randomly for an infinity they would eventually write the complete works of shakespeare?

well I reckon it would take 2 monkeys about a week to complete this book. . .

no revelation. no secret meaning. no truth. no lies. just jibberish.

Though, the service from this particular seller was excellent and I only ordered the book because I was curious about Aleister Crowley I actually haven't read this book. I read the "Book of Law" and that was enough for me to get an idea of what Aleister Crowley was about. He was a chess master, mountain climber, poet, painter, astrologer, drug experimenter, and social critic, but something must have went wrong early in his life for him to follow the path he did. Maybe it was being raised as a Darbyite which are members of the most extreme wing of the Protestant sect known as the Exclusive Brethren. John George Haigh who is known as the acid bath killer was also a Darbyite. I appologize if there are any Darbyites out there, but most likely being a Darbyite prevents you from reading this.

If you're interested in truly occult, historic, and scientific material, this is NOT it. His works are a bunch of foolishness from a man who never truly understood the occult world. You are much better off reading things by Manly P Hall.

My opinion is that Mr Crowley is overrated. Other's will disagree, and that's fine. I think there are cases where brilliance is disguised as rambling, Well, I think this is rambling mistaken for brilliance.
