I thought this was a story, but it’s just poems. It’s more of a single persons view on her personal experiences with men. Missing punctuation. Some good poems. Some poems were a page & others were literally one sentence. I don’t think it was worth the price. Not a horrible book, just ok.

Very quick read but I want to keep going back and reading it over and over. This book speaks to me in so many ways. It's very relatable if you have gone through a bad relationship, left to feel like you aren't good enough. If you have ever loved a narcissist you will connect with these poems.

I haven't finished reading the book, but I am almost finished. I find it hard to put down, I'm busy, so I have to. It is great, and is in good condition as mentioned and expected. Thanks. If you are considering this book, let me say you will not be disappointed.

It took me a long time to review this book. This particular one made me rejoice, made me cry, it made me feel alive and I felt that someone finally understood me. Samantha built me back after being horribly broken for a very long time. Everything that I had been through written by someone in some pages without even knowing me. This is the most perfect poetry book I've read.

This book speaks to my heart! I saw one of her quotes on ig & wanted to learn more about the author. The more I read the more I felt like she was reading my soul. Im going through a tough time in my marriage & felt as if I was going to lose it. This book is Raw & Has been one of the best things I happened to stumble across. I feel human again, I feel motivated & encouraged to feel these emotions & deal with them rather than bottle it all up! Thank you for writing this Samantha! This is a book I will keep forever!

I was very doubtful in getting this book. But I'm SO glad I did. If you're doubting it I definitely say go for it. I got this book and literally read it on the first day I got it. I was so excited. I definitely agree it has to be hyped up. I don't know why it isn't honestly. My last relationship left me very angry and resentful. This book has helped me so much!! It explains so much of what I feel!

I haven't bought a book/ebook in a long time. Been going through some relationship problems myself and this book really touched me. Very deep thoughts and insights on love and being blinded to what you think is love. The best thing about this book is that once you finish reading it, you feel you are not alone being a victim of heartbreak and toxic relationships. You also feel a sense of new beginnings and to start loving yourself and the perfect relationship will follow when the time is right. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends!

Not worth the paper it is printed on, while reading this I found it hard to continue on from line to line. As it seemed I was reading from a thirteen year old girls diary. There was no depth to any of the "poems", a lot of them didn't even flow and felt contrived. I didn't find any emotion what's so ever in anything i was reading, it felt more like I was reading words put on a page just so they could amass a certain amount of writings as a collection. If you are looking for something with meaning stay away from this book.

There are a few techniques King uses which characterize her style of poetry: short, emotional quotes, missing punctuation, vivid expressions of loss, and minimal imagery. I really like the way that King gives sentences meaning without punctuation. Because of the natural tendency people have to stop at the end of the line, rather than put a comma or a period, when King wants a pause, she simply ends the line. The effect this has on the poems and the reader is a sense of longing, a sense of continuity, that exists within the poem, immortalizing the emotions she expresses. There are several brief emphatic phrases that she leaves incomplete, and because there is no punctuation, the reader is forced to interact with her poems more since they must decide if the line ends one sentence or begins another. While there are several image cliches and idioms, to call King’s themes cliche is to dismiss the expression of pain as trivial.

I've read numerous books by top current poets like Rh sin, Tyler knot Gregson, rupi kaur, Robert m drake, and I would pick Samantha kings book over any of the rest! I just wish she had more books published, she speaks to my soul.

This book is utterly amazing. In my hardest times I would have never thought that someone could write what all my thoughts were in my head. I would recommend this book to anyone going through good or bad in their life. I have read this book over and over again and it will still be amazing to me. Thank you Samantha King for helping me go through my hardest of times.

What I love most about Samantha King is that she's original. She's literally a better version of herself and this is undeniably true as I continued to read this book. What makes Samantha King rare is that even as a female writer and poet, she stands out from the rest as she delivers a profound message of pain and clarity in a way I haven't seen in such a long time. This isn't some easy basic read. It's tough at times, weighing heavy on the heart. It's going to make you think! It's not the average self help bull that people are putting out in effort to game the pockets of the broken. This is a woman, sharing her story in the form of poetry in hopes of changing lives. This book is one of the most important reads in this generation. I don't have children yet but this will be a book that I'll share with my daughter(s) when they're of age. Thank You Samantha, I believe in you.

This is the female version of R.H. Sin but with a female perspective and not really poetry in my opinion. If you like inspirational quotes you might enjoy it but for real poetry I would steer clear of this. It seems anyone with a social media page can become a poet and the depth and craft of true poetry is being watered down to appease the masses.

this book feels more like a journal to self than it does poetry. this is NOT poetry. this book feels very forced. i was misled, thinking i was getting myself a book of actual poems but i was wrong. i wish i felt some kind of emotional connection to this but it just wasn't there.
