I really enjoyed the first book in this series, as well as the previous series that led into this one. I'll definitely be finishing all the Stone Brothers books and checking out any others by this author.

Very much enjoyed reading this book!! Loved both the main characters and their circle of family and friends! So glad they found happiness after all they had both been through. What a beautiful ending! Definitely worth reading!

This was well written even if I prefer the omniscient perspective, she handled the first person better than most. I don’t want this to be a spoiler alert so I will only say that the author handles some truly emotional and traumatic events in the main characters’ lives so well.

I haven't even finished reading the book and I just had to write a review. I love the characters, the romance and the sex. Those characters stories had my heart in pieces and when Cat's story was told, I sobbed like a child. This book is amazing

I would not recommend this book to everyone. It has too explicit sex for me. I am sure there are others who would agree with me.Also I think there are others might like. it.
I plan to look for other books that I might like. Louise Harris

I was so moved at how well this book was written. It touches on a lot of sensitive issues and how two people overcome them to find love and happiness. I just wish it would have expounded on the rebuilding of Charlies relationship with her father.

I chose 5 stars for this book because I couldn't put it down,it had everything... romance, drama, passion, laughter. It felt like I was reading a real life story, like I was there witnessing the whole thing. This book and the Mitchell Sister's trio made me laugh, made me cry, made me mad and left me very happy at the end. They were things that could and do happen in real life and I loved them.

Samantha Christy is a writer who draws you into the secret lives of families. I highly recommend this book, as well as the other Stone Brother's books by her. Along with those, read the Mitchell Sisters' novels...they intertwine with the Stone Brother's books. Well done!

I really enjoyed this book. I would love to see Ethan beat the scrap out of Zach but guess you can't have everything. Haha. But seriously, couldn't put it down. Looking forward to reading the next one.

I only read three chapters. The number of f bombs and other foul language does not make for enjoyable reading. The story could be told and made interesting without all the sexual references. I am sure a lot of girls have had this happen to them, but they don't have to talk so filthy.

Love Love Love Samantha Christy and this book! I have been dying to know Charlie's story since meeting her in Black Roses. It was as sad and tragic as I feared but her perseverance and strength of character were as sound as I hoped. And Ethan.... cannot say enough wonderful things about him. I think he may be my new book boyfriend. I love how these two not quite broken people find healing and solace in each other and if all the men in this world were as rational and honest and honorable as Ethan, this world would be a far far better place. Well done handling some difficult topics Samantha and sharing with the world that it's okay to forgive and to heal!

I received an ARC and am providing an honest review.

Charlie is set on seeking revenge and enlists the help of Ethan Stone, a private investigator, to help her find several people. With the death of her mother, she is able to finally start taking a step forward and reclaiming her past. She doesn't live by the rules and when Ethan lives nothing by the rules it was interesting to see who would bend first. Her views slowly start to change the more time she spends with Ethan and their relationship evolves into something neither was ready for. A chance encounter finding the one who understands life can throw you a curve ball but remembering forgiveness will set you free.

Charlie is the daughter of a recently deceased movie star who was addicted to drugs and abusive to both Charlie and her father. She has a list of twelve men that hurt her and goes to Ethan Stone, a private detective, to locate each of them. This is how they meet. Charlie has some issues related to what those men did to her and she's away from relationships, as does Than, for different reasons.
Nevertheless, there is an undeniable attraction between them that grows into something special.
The author has managed to fully develop the main characters within a plot that is much like a babbling brook with lots of stones it must trip over. The pacing is perfect and the story progresses at a steady pace gradually picking up to the end.
Plot: 4.5

This is such a well written story. I was captivated by all the characters. You are so intrigued with the story line to the point of eagerly anticipating getting to the end. I was hopeful of what the outcome would be. The book had enough suspense, to keep me on pins and needles. My emotions consisted of happy, sad, angry, intrigued, elated, and hopeful. Looking forward to reading the next book. Almost each character has a story that can be envisioned in my mind's eye. I like it when it feels like you can believe the things actually occurring to someone. Great book!

Charlie is a honorary Mitchell sister through being Pipers best friend. The whole family thinks of her as if she is there kin. Charlie has had a very traumatic past with a mother that was horrific to her, and a father who left her with her mother. She decides to hire a PI to look up the names of the guys in her mother's journal that mom had let do things to her. Her and Ethan Stone meet and they are attracted to each other. If you read the Mitchell sisters story then definitely grab this one and meet the three gorgeous Stone brothers.

I received an ARC of this book, in exchange for an honest review.
Samantha Christy......you are an amazing writer! I loved the Mitchell sisters series and was so excited to know you were adding Charlie's story to theirs and at the same time combining it with a new series of the Stone brothers. This book was full of everything, heartache, laughs, twists and turns. Don't forget sexy either! Charlie and Ethan go on this emotional roller coaster together to find forgiveness, but, you can never truly forget the pain of the past. It is so sad, because so many people go through things just like them. I can't wait to read Chad and Kyles stories next! Another great book, thanks so much!!!

The Stone Brother series is a spin off of the Mitchell Sister Series so you will get some of those characters throughout these books. This is Ethan Stone & Charlie Tate's story.

I came across this last week and downloaded from KU. Love a good series and characters who show up in each book. This is definitely mature rated with hot brothers and sensitive subjects so fair warning!

Can I get my own "" Ethan"? These two were off the charts together. It was hard to read about Charlie's past, but unfortunately, it is reality for too many people. I loved that this book included the Mitchell family. The whole story was handled with a lot of class.

Beautiful but traumatic story of Charlie. This book had me very emotional. But Mr. Stone here is her hero as much she is to him. He suffered a tragic lost which kept him doing relationships. She turn all that around for him. Yes, its a must read. I also recommended reading the Mitchell's sisters stories as well if you haven't. Can't wait for book 2!!

I loved the Mitchell sisters trilogy, and yearned to read more of Samantha Christy's beautifully written novels! When I stumbled upon Stone Rules, I was thrilled. This is an intricate romance with just the right amount of sizzle. I love how it takes a very delicate subject and makes the protagonist a victor, instead of a victim. I highly recommend this novel!
