The title of your book intrigued me. I always looked forward to opening the boxes! One Christmas, the gifts I
received were like your story boxes, each one had an emotional tie, and all were different. The way your story revolves around Vermont and your characters make your book an excellent read,as well as the mystery to solve seals the deal! I'm looking forward to reading your next book!

Realistic romance. Stand-alone that is easy to follow. It seamlessly bounces between past and present. Interesting storyline with descriptive writing.

Believable characters with distinct personalities. Thought-provoking dialogue.

No desire to re-read this story. I am interested in other works by this author.

I have loved every single book of hers that I have read so far (4 so far)! I love that she can make an excellent plot without it being saturated in sex! It is honestly refreshing to find books & a series at all that completely omits sex and relies solely on the plot to carry it! Great work. I won't spoil the plot, but if you need a change, do read her works! She's amazing ❤️

What a great book. These forgotten boxes have touched the lives of so many people. 30 years after the fact, Charity reunited the boxes with their owners. The stories behind each box tugs at your heart. The changes that Charity goes through is wonderful. This is one of the best books that I have read in a long time.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review.

Charity inherits her estranged aunt Nell’s house and a 30 + year old mystery. Can she clear her uncles name at the same time by doing a good deed? And who is that mountain man she keeps running into? A gentle romance mystery with a dangerous twist. I enjoyed it.

I usually read sagas or long, involved books. This is a "lighter" read, so didn't know what to expect. To my surprise, I found that the book immediately made me feel like I was right there in the story. It is written is such a way that you can actually "feel" what is going on while envisioning the people in your mind.

I loved the book and found that I could not put it down until I finished it. Kudos to Becki Willis, who is one heck of a wonderful author.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review.

The story had an interesting plot. It was a nice change from all the copycat plots in the genre. If the plot description of a book can describe a zillion others I have already read in the past, I just pass it up. It was fun to get a bit of a new twist.

You know I got this book free to read and review. I am so glad I chose it. It's so hard to find a great book that's not erotic lets you do your own imagining & reads really good. i had a hard time putting it down, pick up a copy and hope you enjoy as much as I did.
I'm off to find myself a few other Beckie Willis books.

Read this in one sitting, Becki Willis writes a great story, with believable characters, a bit of trivia, and history rolled up into a mystery with a love story. Very enjoyable, a good clean read, no explicit sex, or gory sceens.

A wonderful newly discovered author who can keep your interest by weaving a complicated plot and a true love story without the need for steamy sex sciences! Her character development and twists are remarkable! I would highly recommend this novel to all! I received this book free in exchange for an honest review!

Great book. A thriller, some romance, and they caught the bad guy! I really identified with Tarn. I was raised on a farm and am a big guy - never thought I would find a woman let along a life long wife and companion.

Keeps you involved with the mysterious happenings and unanswered questions. Keeps you interested by feeding you small bits of the puzzle, then adds some romance. You can't put the book down, needing to know what will happen next. A very good read! I hope Becki has written more!

A fun read with just enough suspense that keeps you reading long past the time you should be going to bed. Charity knows something is amiss with her uncle's death but little does she know the answer will change her whole life.

I liked the characters and the premise of delivering packages forgotten from 30 years ago. The romance was rushed--understand the instant attraction, but they didn't have a chance to really get to know each other.

Well-written characters and a unique story that goes from present to past and back again seamlessly. It has everything I was looking for: mystery, humor, romance and a dash of suspense. I truly enjoyed it! You will not be disappointed. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was a great read! I've been looking for a book that was different, not the same old story line. This one really fit the bill. Finished it up the second night cause I had to know what happened! Great story, a little mystery, romance...

31 years before the truth comes out! Was it suicide or was it murder. When Charity Gannon inherits the estate of her mother’s estranged sister she inadvertently becomes involved in a crime involving her uncle! Was he a participant in the criminal activities or was he just a patsy?!?

There was a unique storyline in this book which I enjoyed. However, I found the author’s writing style difficult to wade through. She would do well to write more cleanly. As it is the prose feels stiff and over-embellished. It would benefit greatly from a good editor.

I love to read but hate picking a new book only to discover tired plots and underdeveloped characters. This book was NOT that. It has wonderful characters, a compelling plot, and a love story developed without resorting to R rated sex scenes. I want to read more from this author.

"The Forgotten Boxes" is an enjoyable, easy read. I liked the characters, but felt there coould have been deeper development of them. The idea of opening Pandora's boxes, if you will, held my interest and curiosity and there were stories to be shared within them. Very good book.

Hard to put this one down, I’m usually not a fan of fast romance, but this was was actually believable. Something about the mystery and stories tied it all together. And after a situation like that, it’s gotta be fate!

I really enjoyed this book. I was drawn in by the title. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I missed a lot of sleep that night but it was worth it because the book was well written. The characters were believable and the story flowed and kept me guessing all at the same time.

Very disappointed. Chose the book because it had won an award. Big Mistake.
PRO: Good plotting, interesting characthers.
CON: Not proofread, not copy-editied. There were errors of spelling, punctuation, usage, sytax and grammar on almost every other page. This took a lot of getting used to - it was like reading a first draft or an unpolished manuscript. I doubt the author or anyone else read it after writing it before it was published. Also: the romance line was almost smarmy in the way it depicted love at first sight and the hero's physique. Made me want a cold shower. Definitely not my genre - I was ust looking for a mystery. I can't recommend for juvenile readers because of the poor command of written English.

This has to be one of the most terribly written books I've read. Such a good idea of a story, yet the author should never write another line. Real fear I'll accidentally purchase another or the authors' books. 1 star is doing it kindness.

I was given a copy of this book by the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

This is my first red by Becki Willis and I absolutely love her style of writing. Her writing is very descriptive and I felt myself seeing the scenes in my head as they were happening. The main character, Charity, was a delight to read about. Her character was well fleshed out and her situations during the story line seemed very real to me.

Charity's aunt passes away and she inherits her estate. She finds her uncle's bloody, bullet ridden clothes where they have hung for the past 30 years. As she finds out the story of her uncle's demise and uncovers clues about his suicide, she starts to doubt that he killed himself. Her journey leads her to find undelivered boxes from the Kingdom Parcel Co. owned by her uncle. She decides to try to find the owners of the boxes and deliver them. Little does she know the danger it will put her in and the strange stories the owners have to tell..

This tale is a clean, well-written romance with a good helping of mystery thrown in. Charity finally meets her prince charming in the most unusual way. Does it have a happy ending? You will have to read the book to find out. You won't be disappointed, just unable to put it down once you start.

I look forward to reading more from Becki Willis. She is a true gem of a writer and one you will want to come back to.

I received an advanced copy from net galley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a good, light-hearted mystery and romance. I liked it, but the plot was somewhat predictable. After her aunt dies, Charity is going through her belongings when she finds some packages that were never delivered. She decides to find the owners and deliver them, even though so much time has passed. As she delivers thee packages, each person has a story associated with the box. Along the way, she meets a man and romance begins. Good, quick read!

Really liked this book because every time it went from past to present, there was something to make you want to keep reading. Also loved the fact that Charity was a normal looking gal with a real figure and not a stick. The fact that it was in Vermont certainly added to my liking. Nell's cottage and garden, the mountains, Dan's home he meticulously remodeled were so well described, you could picture being there with them. Also, I enjoyed the mystery that brought them all together.

An author who doesn't need to keep the doors open with sex. Well developed characters and a storyline that engages the reader immediately and does not let go until the end. A 30-year-old mystery involving an aunt, a house that has been neglected, a garbage bag of boxes, and clothes with a gun shot hole and blood splatters. An exciting story.

I love this author! With the characters seeming like real people and not glorified stick figures... How great to find a book that is written with such nice words and actions! No bad language and steamy scenes! I would let my tee grandchildren read this author without fear of what they would find hidden in the pages. A great story teller!!!

My first Becki Willis read and it won't be the last. It was a story about every day people and some of those every day people who try hard to make a good living and take care of their families but others have different plans. There is a mystery (suicide, forgotten boxes never delivered) involved and uncovered when Charity inherits a cottage from her recently deceased aunt. A great story written well and with a great style. I couldn't put it down until it was done!
