A sweet, light read. No serious violence and no serious sex. This author is not one for whose new output I would be waiting expectantly. But the book sold (to me), and I finished it. I feel totally free to recommend it for my teen-aged nieces.

Absolutely loved this book. Enjoyed the characters, the subject matter was tackled well. There was romance and intrigue. I hate a storyline where the story revolves solely around the protagonists and its as if nobody else exists; this book has plenty of interactions with minor characters. Thank you for that!

It was a pretty interesting read. A child lost his mom & the child stopped talking. He lived with his aunt who found a therapist who believes in having the children draw comics. It was sad at moments but I enjoyed the story. R.F.

Story caught my attention right away. The more I read the more reluctant I was to put it down. Characters were well developed. You just didn't know how it was going to enjoy. Can't wait to read more about this marvelous family.

The circumstances behind the little boy not speaking was terrible. The way the use of Super heroes and art therapy were used was interesting to get him to talk again. The relationships between the characters were great.

The characters are believable but larger than life with an enviable devotion to family depicted in the Hawkins clan. Empowerment of abused children is addressed through the art therapy aspect of Greg Hawkins' characterization.

I love this book! Susan Gable has written a wonderful story with characters you can relate to and make you cheer for. It is set in Erie, Pa and as someone who lives just outside of Erie, the setting is real. An easy read.

Well written, easy to read, great story, love the humor, not the typical cheesy romance, I dont want to spoil or give anything away but for the epilogue, there should have been mention of the check and if Greg had continued his endeavors, I know this is a first in the series but it would have been nice to know. Thank You.

I started reading the book and was engaged until I got to the swearing and other non-Christian scenes. I am appalled at the store for allowing this book to be sold under the Christian romance title. False advertising.

Great writing, fast paced story line, and very interesting characters make it hard to put down. I appreciate the relationship between the members of the very large family that is at the center of this series. Now reading book 2. I hope there are more to come.
