I was instantly hooked on this series after reading Blissed, and I couldn't wait for more! Lindsey was a character I was drawn to from the beginning - I loved her witty remarks and her sneaky match-making skills when trying to get her sister, Nat, and CJ together. Matched did not disappoint! There were parts of this book that pulled at your heart strings and others where you just couldn't help but laugh! I can't wait to read Kimmie's story and see what else is in store for the couples in Bliss!! Makes me wish I grew up in a town just like this!!!

Second book in series holds it own. Lindsey comes across as a hard as nails lawyer, but good ole boy Will brings out her gentle side. Love the characters. Found myself holding my breath, wondering how they were going to work things out. Can't wait to read Kimmie's story next, should be fun!

Although I HATED Sugared with all of its cloying down homey Southern cliches, I decided to give this book a shot because I was hoping once the author got Kimmie out of her system, the other books might be readable. Thankfully Kimmie didnt feature largely in this plot. Linsdey and Will made a great couple and I really like the psychic ability the author gave Lindsey.

“Though everyone who mattered to him told him to walk away, though Lindsey herself told him to walk away, he was still here. And she was still glad.”

Jamie Farrell takes readers back to the quirky bridal-fixated town of Bliss, Illinois with MATCHED. Even though MATCHED is the second installment in her fun contemporary Misfit Brides series, it can easily be enjoyed as a stand-alone read, if that is your preference. However, be aware that the town of Bliss and its colorful residents were first introduced in BLISSED. That said, the whole series is a sizzling wild ride and I recommend savoring it in order, if you can.

I listened to the audio edition of MATCHED with the fantastically talented Karen White narrating. Karen White is one of my all-time favorite narrators. Once again, Karen’s narration is really, truly wonderful. Her pacing is spot on. Her delivery is natural. I could listen to Karen all day and still be mesmerized. Her performances are always highly entertaining, polished and sublimely executed. I have discovered numerous new-to-me authors – including Jamie Farrell - thanks to Karen.

MATCHED is the story of Lindsey Castellano, Natalie’s sister, and Will Truitt, aka southern country music superstar Billy Brenton. As a divorce attorney, Lindsey has not exactly had the welcome mat rolled out to her in the most wedding-obsessed place on Earth. The next novella, SMITTENED, actually occurs parallel to MATCHED. It is the story of Billy’s drummer, Mikey, and Dahlia, an ice cream parlor entrepreneur. I can tell you right now that you will want to pick-up SMITTENED with MATCHED as they work very well together!

Fifteen years ago, Will and nineteen-year-old Lindsey met and fell madly in love on the ski slopes during spring break. Will was a janitor at the time with big dreams of being a famous country music star some day. However, Lindsey has a secret matchmaking gift and her gift said that she and Will were not a good match. When Will very publicly proclaimed his love to Lindsey, she broke his heart.

Fast forward fifteen years to the wedding of the hero and heroine from the first book. As a favor to the groom’s sister, Billy has agreed to crash the wedding and sing a few songs. As Billy looks out over the crowd, the eyes of the woman he has not been able to forget meet his. Does she remember him?

Jamie’s writing personifies Will’s and Lindsey’s fears, longings, pain and joy. Apart they are broken; together they are better versions of themselves. Without Lindsey, Billy’s music mojo has pretty much dried up. With Lindsey, the notes sing again. “She was the only one who made him hear music. The only one who made him feel home. The only one who wanted nothing more than for him to be plain, simple Will Truitt.”

Following please find a few of my favorite quotes from this mega entertaining listen:

“And this is Kimmie Elias.
”Kimmie inhaled a loud breath. “I had a dream you were the love child of Bugs Bunny and the abominable snowman, but in my dream that was a good thing, and you lived in a mushroom that had secret passages into outer space,” she said.
And here he thought he’d already heard it all.
---
Like Momma says, only thing you get by digging dirt is dirty.”
---
“Heard a rumor you can’t cook,” he said.
She didn’t look away from her reading. “You know rumors.
They’re always true.”
She had him there. According to some of the tabloids, he had fourteen love children, two with aliens and one with the sister of Bigfoot.
---
She ran her hands under his shirt, over his chest, her cool touch igniting shivers over his skin. “Is this a ploy to get another song out of me?” she asked.
“It’s a ploy to get you out of your pants.”
And what, exactly, are you planning on doing once you get me out of my pants?”
Will felt his lips curving up again. “Darlin’, you leave the
details to me.”

As with the first book, I found myself laughing-out loud often. I loved catching up with the Bliss townfolk including Natalie, CJ, Pepper and Kimmie; and a new canine character, Wrigley, solidified a claim on my heart. Jamie has written an intensely emotional tale with Southern sass. You certainly won’t want to miss the scoop on Lindsey’s smiley face panties. If you are looking for a delightfully humorous second-chance-at-love romance conjoined with some fabulous swoon-worthy country songs, check out Jamie Farrell’s MATCHED. AND don’t forget to pick up SMITTENED too!

RATING 4.5 STARS

Matched is book two in the Misfit Brides of Bliss series by Jamie Farrell. This book was generously provided to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Lindsey Castellano is from Bliss, Illinois, The Most Married-est Town on Earth. So it was to the chagrin of many when she grew up and became a divorce lawyer. To not add further fuel to the fire, she moved thirty miles away to Willow Glen. Even more of a surprise to those who knew about it, was Lindsey’s choice of a profession when she possessed a very unique ability, one that made her feel like somewhat of a freak, one that she did not consider a gift at all. She has the ability to tell if two people are a perfect match, or if they are not destined for each other. In other words, she is a matchmaker.

Back when Lindsey was in college, she made the mistake of letting her friends know that the boyfriends they were dating were not the right match for them. This eventually alienated her friends from her. She was nineteen years old, on a ski trip, and feeling very alone, when she met Will Truitt. He was a janitor with big dreams of being a famous country music star someday. They had one wonderful week together. One week where they fell in love, or so Will thought. At the end of the week, Will very publicly proclaimed his love to Lindsey, and she broke his heart.

Fast forward fifteen years. Will is now known as Billy Brenton, mega country music star. It is Lindsey’s sister Natalie’s wedding in Bliss and Billy knows the groom’s sister so he has agreed to crash the wedding and sing a couple of songs for the bride and groom. It was here that his eyes met Lindsey’s. The eyes of the woman he has never been able to forget. The eyes that belonged to the woman that helped him to write many a song.

Billy’s music hasn’t been flowing as easily lately. In fact, it has pretty much dried up. And as soon as he saw Lindsey, the notes began to come together in his head, the music came back. Is this a second chance for them? Does Lindsey even remember him?

“She was the only one who made him hear music. The only one who made him feel home. The only one who wanted nothing more than for him to be plain, simple Will Truitt.”

First, I want to say that I have already read the next book, the novella, #2.5, Smittened. It is the story of Billy’s drummer, Mikey, and Dahlia. The story line runs parallel to this one so I loved knowing what was going on with Mikey during this time. It really added a lot. So either way, if you read it before or after, make sure you read both.

I loved this book. Jamie Farrell has such a fun, humor filled way of telling her stories. But underneath it all, there are always characters that you can’t help but to fall in love with, characters with flaws and hearts as big as Montana. Billy thought that fulfilling his dream of being a big star would make him happy. And Lindsey spent her life trying to deny who she really was, keeping her lawyer face on but wearing her smiley face panties to remind herself of who she used to be. But there was only one person who made those smiley faces wake up and maybe even wink.

“Though everyone who mattered to him told him to walk away, though Lindsey herself told him to walk away, he was still here. And she was still glad.”

This is a story of second chances at love and accepting who you are and finding your place in life. The place that makes those smiley faces smile and makes our hearts sing.

I have totally loved this series as Ms. Farrell brings a wonderful refreshing breath of fresh air to her stories. Jamie puts the laugh back in laughter with her wonderful sense of humor that will keep you smiling and laughing throughout her stories. There is nothing better than second chances to be able to redo or undo the hurt and pain. Lindsey and Will get this chance as they take a walk down memory lane. Lindsey is a little on the bullhead side she is scare to see things as they truly are. Her fears just might keep her from the love of her life. Will never understood how she walked away from him. He was hurt so bad now he must decide if it is worth the risk to try again.

Both have fears, but love with all they have as each has something the other needs. Lindsey needs to try to find her true self and be what she is meant to be. Will is just what the doctor ordered even if Lindsey herself doesn't agree. Will needs to be able to write again and he can only do this with Lindsey near

The author brings back some wonderful characters as we see where they are and what is going on in their lives. She also bring some new ones that might be a little on the crazy side. So many people need help Lindsey might be the only one who can help them but first she must believe in herself.

I loved this couple as they butt heads to find their way to a HEA they will have to go through some painful memories and more heartbreak before they can even find happiness. I love bliss it is a town with so much going on the QG is a hoot as she pushes her way to get what she wants. This is one time she might not get it!

Jamie gives you a very well written story that you will not want to put down. Her writing style is like no other as she gives you a story you can sink your eyes into. This will be a book you have trouble putting down. I found Miss Jamie when she wrote her first book and have been hook on your stories every since. I know when I see her name it is a book I must have that it will be loaded with fun and humor as she tells a story of heartbreak and pain. Her stories are always highly entertaining as Match is. If you are looking for a story full of humor, drama, with just the right touch of spice than you need to pick this lovely read up. Find out whatever one is talking about with the supernatural who can tell if you are with the correct match.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! Such an AMAZING book! MUST READ!

One of my favorite things in the world is curling up with a Jamie Ferrell novel. Matched does NOT disappoint! I fell into this book immediately and I never left. I am still thinking about how much I love Jamie's characters. I love how easily Jamie hooks you into the story and how easily you can connect with her characters. Jamie Farrell is one of my all time favorite authors.

I LOVE Lindsey and Will's (aka Billy Brenton's) story! Lindsey fell in love once before but walked away and broke Will's heart. Imagine her surprise when she runs into him years later and discovers her Will is now sexy, famous, country singer Billy Brenton. Sparks fly, but can these two make it work? Come on this magical journey that is Lindsey and Will's love story! This story is so fun and engaging. I had all the good fells with this story. I laughed out loud, I swooned, I felt heart break, I fell in love with Will, I felt so sad when I realized I had run out of pages to keep reading.

Matched in #2 on the Misfit Brides of Bliss Series, but it works GREAT as a standalone. But honestly Jamie tells such wonderful stories and her books are so amazing you don't want to miss Book #1. I ABSOLUTELY recommend Matched!!! You won't be disappointed!! I can NOT wait to read what's next!!! Squee!!! I love Jamie Ferrell's books!!!

When Lindsey and Will were 19, they met over spring break on a ski slope. Lyndsay wanted to become president and Will wanted to be a country singer. Their last night together, Will called Lindsey onstage and told her he loved her. Lindsey had a secret about her personal gift (not music) and broke Will's heart in front of everyone.
Fifteen years later, Lindsey and Will meet up at Lindsey's sister's wedding. Lindsey is a successful divorce lawyer (giving people and love a 2nd chance) while eating babies for breakfast. Will is now known as Billy Brenton a world famous, Grammy winning superstar. Both are knocked off their feet when their worlds' collide, but Billy is the first to recover. Billy had lost his song writing muse, but when he saw Lindsey again, the music began to flow. Lindsey was determined to avoid Billy at all costs, because her gift showed a possible change in their compatibility, but Lindsey couldn't be sure.
The usual Bliss characters return in this sequel. There are so many adorable sections when Kimmie (I can't wait for her story) talks about her sugar induced dreams to everyone. Nat and CJ return and CJ's sisters are more prominent in this story. And the resident mischief maker is always there sharing her good-will. I felt Lindsey's story was a bit choppy at the beginning, but smoothed out as I read more.

Matched by Jamie Farrell is the newest book in the Misfit Brides of Bliss. Bliss is a town dedicated to the art of Weddings and Marriage. The story focuses on Lindsey and Will but continues to connect us with all the other Bliss people from previous books.

Lindsey was a divorce lawyer, definitely an anomaly in the happily-ever married land of Bliss. She seems to have the psychic gift to see people who should be together and feels she offers people a chance to have a second chance. She does not think she is capable of love, so she stays in control of everything.

Will is a famous country singer. He is well known and loved by many as Billy Benton. Recently he has felt that the gift of song writing has left him. When he crashes a wedding to help out a friend, he runs into an old ‘lover.’ Will realizes he needs Lindsey to get back his muse.
That’s when the fun starts.

The book is a fun read. I love how Kimmie’s mother runs everything in Bliss, she thinks. I love the humor that is woven into to some of the situations. I love Will’s doggedness and that he wrote a song to Lindsey’s underwear.

Enjoy! The book is a fun read!

I did receive this novel from the author in return for an honest review.

Will and Lindsey shared a memorable week together when they were young. Now will they get their second chance or be over before they even get started?

Will fell in love with Lindsey years ago as just a boy who loves to play his guitar and sing. With Lindsey believing in him he can accomplish anything. But the end of their week was anything but happy ever after. Now years later, Will aka country superstar Bill Brenton, shows up in her town. And he wants a few more weeks to try and win her heart.

Knowing in her heart she will never have her own. But when Will shows up and a fire leaves him homeless, she takes him in. But another fire ignites between them. Afraid and believing her second sight about her and Will she refuses to stay with him. Butvfate has other ideas.

Loved this story so much!!! Second chance loves, favorite characters revisited, hijinks, and plenty of laugh out loud moments keep you reading!!

Lindsey Castellano is a successful divorce lawyer and she has a special gift from the universe. However, she runs from commitment, avoiding love and heartbreak!

Will Truitt is a successful country singer who goes by the stage name of Billy Brenton. He is loved by millions! Except Lindsey.

Fifteen years ago she broke Will’s heart but she is the only person who ever inspired his music. Lindsey and Will meet again at her sister’s wedding and Will decides to hang around town to see if he can be inspired by Lindsey and even better if he can convince Lindsey they are the ultimate match together.

This was such a great love story but not before a lot of bumps in the road getting there. There is some pain in this book because of what the H&H had to go through but there is so much humor that you can’t help but fall in love with the town of Bliss and it’s many fun characters. With all the ups and downs I just couldn’t see how these two were going to get together and be happy but the author made it happen!

Check out this lovely story by Jamie Farrell!

There is one thing that is always guaranteed when you pick up a book from Jamie Farrell---it will make you smile. Matched is the second installment of the Misfit Brides of Bliss series, and it brings back all of the characters you loved from Natalie's book. Yes, we have to throw the QG in there as well ;) I loved how Anna Grace and Jackson from Southern Fried Blues are in this one too!
Here we get to know more about Natalie's sister, Lindsey Castellano, and her sweet-talking love interest, Will Truitt, aka Billy Brenton--a famous country singer. Lindsey and Will meet again after years of not seeing each other due to Lindsey running out of his life when they were younger, and they are both forced to confront their feelings and their past heartache in order to have a chance to find happiness with each other, to give it one more try.
Jamie has such a talent with words---one minute you are full out laughing and the next your heart turns to mush and you're crying happy tears. I have read all of her books, and each one, simply put, puts me in my own happy place. Kudos, Jamie! Another fantastic book!

This is the second book in the Misfit Brides series and is wonderful. It is nice to go back to Bliss and catch up with all the crazy characters. It can be read as a stand alone because it is the second chance love story of Will(Billy) and Lindsey but I recommend reading Blissed also because it is a wonderful story. Lindsey and Will met when they were just nineteen and meet again at Natalie's, Lindsey's sisters wedding. Lindsey doesn't think she can do long term relationships and Will knows that Lindsey is the only girl for him. She believed in him when nobody else seemed too and now he wants to do the same for her. He just needs to help her see what he sees when he looks at her. They end up roommates due to the rental house Will was in going up in flames. Lindsey gives Will three weeks and he hopes that will be enough time to change her mind to forever.

This is a wonderful book because it blends humor, bittersweet moments and sweet romance. I highly recommend this book.

I was given a free copy for my honest review.

Ms. Farrell's writing is quirky and totally unique, which is why I've come to adore it as much as I do. There's really no other author I could compare her to.

Once upon a time, Lindsey publicly humiliated Will and left him confused and heartbroken. Years later, the two of them are given a chance to put the past behind them but does Lindsey have it in her to finally conquer her insecurities and the doubts she has about their compatibility?

I crushed on Will/Billy for his commitment and traditional values. Lindsey has an unusual talent (psychic matchmaking) that caused her some grief as a younger woman but she needs to learn to embrace it if she's to find her true purpose in life. For me, their story couldn't have ended any more perfectly. Lindsey had to man up to face her fears and prove herself worthy of Will and she certainly did! Somehow, that scene managed to be both touching and laugh out loud funny.

Next up is Kimmie and I cannot wait to see that girl fall in love

I received this ARC for an unbiased review

Matched is part of theMisfit Brides series and it is about Lindsey and Will. This is a stand alone but it revisits people from the other books in the series. It is a book full of friendship, love, and fun.

Lindsey decided year ago Will was not for her so when he shows up at her sisters wedding she can't believe her eyes or her ears, the song he is singing is about her. Lindsey doesn't want to face a lot of things in life. She has her friends and her family but she lives in the next town, now facing Will on a daily basis is not in her plans.
Will has loved Linsey forever when she agrees to give him three weeks he plays on that. He so does not want to lose her again.

I love this series and the characters all have their own life to the story and they intertwine. Now to wait patiently for the next book.

Will and Lindsey met each other over Spring Break when they were both 19. Hearts were broken and career paths determined.
We go back to Bliss, the most-married place on Earth, for Lindsey's story. Fifteen years later, music legend Billy Brenton, Will Truit to 19-year-old Lindsey Castellano, crashes a wedding. The feelings are still there and Will and Lindsey get their second chance, with plenty of humor along the way. Matched had me laughing and sniffling. We find out what is happening with characters from the previous books, but this story stands alone. Kimmie almost steals the show and I can't wait to read how she finds her happily-ever-after.

I have to say that I absolutely LOVED Matched. This story was fast paced, witty, and reminded me of Jill Shalvis' writing style. Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge fan of Jill Shalvis so when I compare these two authors it is a compliment. I could easily relate to Lindsey and her desire to be normal even with her special talents. Will was sexy, real, and down to earth despite being a country star. I found myself falling for him right along with Lindsey. The book hooked me from page one and was long enough to satisfy. I really can't say enough good things about Matched by Jamie Farrell. It is a must read in my book and gets 5 stars from me.

Matched book 2 of The Misfit Brides
by Jamie Farrell

Welcome to Bliss, Illinois home of Lindsey Castellano, divorce attorney. Her true calling is a matchmaker, she knows intuitively who is a great match and who isn't. She has hidden away her gift as a matchmaker for many years after she tried to tell some college classmates who they should be with.
During that time she met her match, Will who was a country singer rising up in Nashville. Will fell in love with Lindsey, but Lindsey couldn't show her feelings for him. Now he is in Bliss, Illinois and all those feelings have returned to Lindsey and she is uncertain what she should do. Grab the book and settle down to get the rest of the story! I was given this book in exchange for an honest and fair review. All opinions are mine.

Welcome back to Bliss...Marrying-ist town in the world, or at least Illinois! Matched tells the story of Lindsay and Will, 15 years after they met, fell in love and had their hearts broken. Because while Lindsay ran out on Will, she was as broken as he was.
Now they have a second chance, but is Lindsay brave enough to take it? Or can she only give Will... now known to the world as Billy Brenton, country music star...3 weeks? Will wants Lindsay for always, but can he overcome her fears and insecurities?
Add in some familiar faces, a quirky humor and a down-home southern flare and you've got another winner from Jamie Farrell. This book can be read as a stand alone, but grab Bliss and Smitten, too,...you won't be sorry!

Lindsey is one tough cookie. She grew up in Bliss, a town focused on weddings, and she has a gift. She can tell when a couple is a good match but when sharing her knowledge in college turns her friends away, she decides to hide her gift. Though, one spring break she encounters Will, a fabulous guy that sweeps her off her feet until she gets scared and breaks his heart. She boldly becomes a divorce attorney, something no one in Bliss wants to consider. Will shows up in Bliss, he is now a famous singer, having achieved all his dreams. When Will shows up, Lindsey's match meter goes haywire and she still believes they aren't a good match. As Will finds his music, can he crack open Lindsey's heart? A beautiful journey of love, redemption and learning to believe in yourself.

Matched by Jamie Farrell was an amazing read. I've read Ms Farrell's previous books and not only is this well written book Lindsay and Will's story, but also a visit with old friends from previous books. I love the characters in all of Jamie Farrell's books, but she has outdone herself with this book. Ms Farrell has a flair with dialog and it shines in Lindsay and Will's story. Matched is loaded with humor, drama, a little spice and even a little woo woo (paranormal.) I loved, loved, loved this book and can't wait to read more from Jamie Farrell in the future. Matched is book 2 in the Misfit Brides Of Bliss Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I loved Lindsey and Will's story. I was intrigued by "Billy Brenton's" story when I read Mikey and Dahlia's book. This book did not disappoint. Lindsey and Will, aka Billy, met on spring break 15 years ago. They had a great week together, but then she humiliated him on stage after he professed his love. That led to him writing the best songs of his country music career. He's now hit a writing slump and decided some R & R is in order to get him back on track. I loved the chemistry when Lindsey and Will see each other again for the first time. I loved how much Kimmie was in the book. It makes me really look forward to her book. This was a great story and great series.

Matched is Jamie Farrell second book in her Misfit Brides of Bliss series. I love reunion stories and Matched definitely did not disappoint. It was filled with humor and had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. Match a divorce lawyer with a gift for matchmaking and a musician that writes stories from the heart and the end result is a wonderful story about accepting who you are and believing in second chances. I especially love this little town of Bliss. It’s a special place.

Welcome to Bliss where everything centers around weddings. This is the second book in this series. Lindsey has a secret gift for matchmaking. She's kept this a secret since college because her friends did not want to hear that their matches were not "the one."Instead she has become a divorce lawyer. Along comes Will back into her life. They met 15 years ago. He's a country singer who wrote a special song about his "Snow Angel." You will have to read the book to see if Lindsey can predict them to be a perfect match and whether or not Lindsey will learn to accept her ability to predict good matches as well as bad matches.

A second chance story always strikes a chord with me, because I live one! Jamie Farrell's classic, quirky storytelling makes this a can't miss book. Her characters are well written and easy to relate to, and her plot lines are a perfect mix of complexity and believability. MATCHED is the second chance story of Will and Lindsey; their first chance at love ended quickly and miserably. Years go by and their lives are vastly different, but when their paths cross, there's no denying that the spark is still there. If you love a hunky country boy and a sassy, strong leading lady, you will love MATCHED. And if you like your sweet romances with a little bit of heat and a lot of laughs, you can't go wrong with a Jamie Farrell book!

Facing life with a positive attitude has managed to get Lindsey to the point that she is content with where her goals took her. Will has lived a life that allows him see things the way they really are. Having had to fight for his dreams he appreciates where he ended up. Yet each has regrets about love and the one that got away. Jamie Farrell's story of overcoming adversity, regrets and second chances is a story that surprised me. The way it's presented is that Lindsey has this great life, which she does but to me she came across as going through the motions. Will is happy with the achievements he has made in his life but wants a second chance at love. The characters existed without each other but when together they realized what had been missing all along. I received an ARC of Matched in exchange for an honest review. Somewhat cheesy but a whole lot of fun.

Adored this book (second in the series Misfit Brides Of Bliss, but can be read as a stand alone.) The love story between Lindsey & Will began way back when they were teenagers & ended badly. When Will (now a big country singer) shows up to sing at her sister's wedding they get a second chance at love. I won't spoil the fun by giving away the details but its not your usual love story. Such a fun book.... love the crazy town of Bliss. Was given an ARC in return for an honest review.

Matched by Jamie Farrell is a refreshing, laugh out loud, drama driven romance!! Parts of this story had me cracking up while also wanting to strangle the hero or heroin!! Will and Lindsey are are the perfect modern day couple and I loved the interactions and insights they had with each other. As usual Ms. Farrell has written another great romance for the ages!! Can't wait for Kimmie's story!!

This is a sweet, fun story about second chances. The characters are likable and quirky, in a town that is all about love. Even though this is book two in the series, it can be read as a stand alone. However, once you've read one, you will want to read them all. Ms. Farrell does an excellent job of creating characters that are down to earth and "normal." I love her writing style.

Jamie Farrell has done it yet again. Her characters, style of writing and story line drew me in and I couldn't put the book down til the last page. This may just be the second book in the Misfit Brides of Bliss series but it is becoming one of my favorites. The third in this series can't come out soon enough! If you have not read Ms. Farrell's work yet, you are missing out.

Lindsey Castellano grew up in Bliss, Illinois. She is a matchmaker and a divorce lawyer. She doesn't want anyone to know about her matchmaking. She is afraid of commitment. She used to date Will Truitt and now he's back in town. Will they fall in love again or will she move on and find someone new? Read this book and find out. Great book by Jamie Farrell, funny and a good story. I was given an ARC for an honest review.

I have to admit to only reading one other of Jamie's book. I did like it and was excited to see what she had planned next. Well, I was not disappointed. Matched was fun, exciting, and had a good HEA. All pluses in my book. I highly recommend this book. Can't wait for the next one!

Matched had a bit of everything--twang with a twist. A 2nd chance at love while being light and funny. I didn’t expect some of the twists.

Some of the characters are so lovable that you can’t wait until they get their own story;

I didn’t want to put it down.

Lindsey has been know as the baby eating divorce lawyer. She didn't do love or commitment. Yet the one who got away was now back in her world. Will/Billy is a country music star. He knows Lindsey was the one who got away and he has 3 weeks to get her back. They were so much fun to read about. Love Kimmie with all her crazy dreams and words. Fluffernutter. Lindsey has hit a low. She had to figure out her place in the world. She was running. Will was not following. Then she saw roses and sunshine. I loved the ending!

Matched by Jamie Farrell is book two in the Misfit Brides of Bliss series and can be read as a standalone for those that haven’t read the first book. But trust me, you will want to grab the whole series!

Matched revolves around Lindsey and Will getting a second chance at love. Lindsey and Will fell in love 15 years ago and all it took was one week for their feelings to set in. But, Lindsey is what you would call a matchmaker. She has this intuition about “bad matches” and decides to break up with Will by telling him they are a bad match. Will goes on to become a top rated country music star and Lindsey becomes a divorce lawyer. They never forgot about each other though!

Will makes an appearance at Lindsey’s sisters wedding and they finally see each other again. All the feelings and emotions come back and one thing is for sure, their chemistry is still as explosive as it was 15 years ago.

I adored Matched!!! Once I started it, I couldn’t put it down. Matched is a heartwarming story about accepting and believing in yourself. Lindsey and Will are a must read!
