This was an interesting read for me. I was drawn into the story, even though I didn’t think I would like it as much. The twists added to the story made it more enjoyable for me, and kept my interest, even though there were times when the story dragged on.

I liked Lana, though there were times I wanted to smack her and tell her not to be so stupid. I applauded what she did in the end, which helped redeem her in my eyes. On the other hand, I absolutely hated the Barrington family by the end, and I was a bit pissed off at Blake at the end of the book.

And speaking of the ending, I wasn’t a big fan. While I liked what Lana did, I hated the cliffhanger ending, especially since with the length of the book and the blurb, I was expecting a happy ending, which I didn’t get.

All in all, this was an interesting book, and I will read the second one because I want to find out how Blake and Lana’s story ends.

Drama, sex, romance and love. This book has it all. Blake and Lana are total opposite. Great read to see what happen to them!

I'm not sure what to say about this book. I wouldn't call it a romance.
It took me a bit by surprise. Lana and Blake were an unlikely couple. So many books I read start out the same as this one. The difference with this book was, there really is no ending, at least so far.
I guess I liked this book, but it left me with an edgy feeling. Maybe the things they spoke of,
About our civilization, were frightening.
I didn't expect this book to have the depth it did.
If you like light romance, this is not the book for you. Blake was a very troubled man, who doesn't
Seem to have an end game. Lana, was an innocent throughout. Hard to believe after what she had seen.
Hard to put this down. If I had to use one word for it, it would be compelling.

The Billionaire Banker, great story and well written book.
The concept is great and it's easy to follow..

The characters, they are great and they are easy to like.
Lana, a good and a loving daughter.
She is willing to give up herself just to help her mother.
That's one of the things that I like about her.
She's selfless and determined to help.
Blake on the other hand, a hot banker but a bit arrogant.
Even though he's a bit arrogant, I got to like him as the story goes by..

The story, I loved it! Even though there are parts that I want to throttle Victoria
because of the things she put Lana through..
The ending of the story let me hanging.. Gah!!
I can't wait on what will happen next to Lana and Blake's relationship..

Ms. Georgia did a great job in making this book interesting!

I have read a lot of romance books, and Penelope Sky was by far my favorite. Now this one comes along and it's right up there. The story appeals to me so much. The main characters suck you in. This is so well written. The sex scenes are hot. It's got everything, and takes you on a wild ride that is pretty insane. I love how Blake is protective and loves her even when he thinks he hates her.

Ownership turns to interest and interest turns into something close to love. But as the days tick by Blake and Luna face challenges not only from the confines of their arrangement but also Blake's powerful family, a jealous rival and an act of God. Tears fall and - WARNING - "The Billionaire Banker" ends with a frustrating (at least to me) cliffhanger.

Girl in financial need stories are not new. Where "The Billionaire Banker" succeeds is in emphasizing the dignity that Lana carries throughout the story. Her motives are pure and as an innocent in this situation her growing attraction to Blake seems realistic. For every time he hurts her he shows her a kindness and he is the only man she's ever known.

Where the story falls short for me was in the romantic/sexual connection between Blake and Lana. Spark, heat, friction - those are things I needed to feel from a male and female character in this type of situation and I just wasn't feeling it. Blake comes across as very cold and mechanical. I never developed a solid read on his character. He's rich. His family is powerful, controlling, and has expectations. He doesn't do emotions. In the bedroom he's there to get what he wants and he's gone. As a hero or even anti-hero, I was missing some sort of redemptive trait or characteristic and I just couldn't find it. When Blake starts to show that he cares for Lana I couldn't fully commit to it.

Though a little bumpy, "The Billionaire Banker" has enough hook that I would suggest giving it a try. A follow-up to "The Billionaire Banker" is scheduled for this coming January and I will be checking it out to see what's next for Lana and Blake.

Wow erotica love story, didn't want this series to end, loved these books, wish there was more, but like all great stories they end ... Outstanding couldn't put the books down read these books for three days almost constantly... loved, loved, loved this series....

This series started out good, but got so crazy! I couldn’t even read the bonus material, let alone the final two books. It’s very repetitive. There are some editing issues. And I wasn’t thrilled with the cat being thrown across the room, there was no need for that. Just overall strange and odd.

Great story that is on the dark side. A young woman Lana needs to raise money to help pay for her medical treatment. Lana strikes a deal with a man from an influential old family but it has far reaching consequences! Read the series and get to know the characters. They are well developed....

The Billionaire Banker by Georgia Le Carre was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Georgia!
Blake is a banker who's family believes in arranged marriages for business and has for many years.
Lana is a poor girl from the "estates, projects for us Americans :). She is desperate and she does what she has to it literally could mean life or death.
I was captivated from the start, a page turner. Lana propositions her boss but it turns out differently than she imagined in a good way. They have a hot and cold relationship and Lana falls in love. She knows it is only temporary and keeps having to remind herself it will end. Then her and Blake's relationship takes a turn causing Lana to run. That is the only option for her and her family.

Very interesting read. I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. It was interesting seeing how Blake and Lana’s relationship evolved from just a sexual arrangement to, dare I say, a more involved relationship. It will be interesting to see how their relationship plays out. I give Owned two thumbs up!!

Blake is amazingly awesome!!! I loved me some Blake and was said when it ended.. I was in the edge of my seat and couldn't put the books Dow. ... Lana is strong and innocent at some points in the 3rd book she started getting annoying asking him questions that constantly said he wouldn't answer to keep her safe but she kept at if anyways.. Other that that I liked Lana and her best friend Billie I hope jack isn't too heart broken and comes back.. Victoria needs to disappear lol

I haven't read a book this compelling, deep, dark and scary for a long time and I read Almost a book a day :). The storyline unfolds and I find myself shocked by the deep, dark and ugly waters Blake swims in....back 400 years of elite rulership. Lana not only turns his world on end....she has to survive it. Whew.....non-stop marathon read....and oh yeah....the sex is erotic and very intense in it's diversity. Enjoy!

This book was recommended by a friend and after quickly skimming the synopsis I started reading, I didn't realise it wasn't a stand-a-lone but that's my fault all the information was there I was just too eager to get started that I never checked.
Since there's so many reviews I'll keep mine short and just say I loved it, while there may be nothing new here, to the extend where it was easy to predict what was coming next it didn't in anyway spoil my enjoyment at all I loved it and can't wait to start the start book.

Lana is desperate because her mother had a cancer and she needs £50,000. She met Blake and he is very willing to double the price.

Blake is a Billionaire Banker, very mysterious,ruthless and unemotional. He wants Lana and what he wants he gets. He offered Lana to be with him for 3 months in exchange for the money that she needs.

It's a well written story,fast paced,you can't put down the book, you want to read more and finish the story. Very Romantic as in with hot and steamy sexual scene.

I like how Georgia described every characters and you will love all them except Victoria.

I can't wait for the next book.

A truly wonderful story about love and power. The characters were well described and the story was very well written, I loved the way the author described the feelings and emotions of the characters,they were so interesting and kept the story interesting all the way through to the end.m

My friend suggested I read this book, so I finally caved and did. It was an alright story. I liked the synopsis, but there were parts that felt lacking to me. It took me a little bit to understand some of the lingo used (since I'm American and I believe this is a UK writer). Then it ended on a bit of a cliff-hanger, and now I need to read the next book to see what happens.

Ok so where do I start?? I have no clues except to say this Author is amazing! She has me hook, line and Sinker with every word of this Series. Lana and Blake are Amazing characters and written so well. Every book I have read by Georgia La Carre has had a special theme and meaning. This book is no exception. I really do think of her writings as a Bob Marley, of sorts, tales. Conspiracy theories that hit real close to home. I am on a journey with each book. I am drawn to put all my other Authors Series aside and read everything written by her!

When I started to read this book is very similar to the book fifty shades of grey. Which I totally loved. The only thing is this storyline is in Britain. I did like the plot. The only thing is about Billie? What happened to her? We know where Jack went. Is there anymore stories going to be written?

In Georgia Le Carre’s book, The Billionaire Banker: We learn just how far someone would go to save the life of a loved one. Lana decides to sell herself for the money. Blake Barrington is the one to offer Lana the money she wants.

I was drawn to the character of Lana, who would do anything to save her mother. Lana Bloom’s mother has stage four cancer and they can’t afford the special treatments offered. While she doesn’t regret her decision, she never thought she would lose her heart along the way. Lana was always thinking of others and I loved how the author wrote this character.

At first I had mixed emotions about the character of Blake Barrington. Blake comes from a very privileged family and while he comes to Lana’s rescue, from a brutal user of women, some of his comments didn’t set well with me. As the book goes on he totally grew on me. And by the time this book ends I totally want to see these two get their HEA.

I loved the writing style of Georgia Le Carre. She wrote a very sexy, intriguing book, which had this reader fully vested. Georgia also writes of a secret society with a hint of dark pleasures. While I have read books with similar themes, this one did delve deeper into the lives of the main characters and secondary characters as well.

As a reader I have never been a fan of a cliff hanger and this book has a few at the end. But I believe that this book is totally worth the experience. And I highly recommend it to readers of romance. And I can’t wait to see how these two end up. Please hurry with book 2!

I really enjoyed this series. I wasn't sure if I would - given the dark undertones of the story as well as the cold demeanor of our "hero" Blake. But the more I read, the more I got into it.. And I actually ended up loving it. There's something about these characters that draws you in over and over. There's something in Blake and the way he loves, wants, needs, OWNS Lana that is just so yummy and brought me back every free moment I had.

If you are looking for another great billionaire book then look no further, The Billionaire Banker by Georgia La Carre is your next read! This guy is cold & calculating but I can definitely see him warming up over the rest of the series! The story starts with our billionaire, the deeply mysterious and dazzlingly gorgeous American banker, Blake Law Barrington seeing our heroine Lana Bloom dressed to kill, propositioning one of our heros rich acquaintances. They have the moment when their eyes lock and then our Blake steals her away from her original bachelor by offering her double the money she was asking for. He doesn’t care why she wants the money, he just wants her (but he doesn’t know why!). That is the not so romantic start to our story, but it had me hooked!

I enjoyed the book and thought that even though the story has been told before, this one had some very original ideas! I liked the idea of a girl from the council flats in London meeting a billionaire American banker. They both have their quirks and their secrets and we only start to see through them in this first book of the series.

This is a quick easy read from a new author and has all the bits that I love in my books including the angsty male hero and the beautiful heroine. The writing was good and can only be improved upon with the future books that are scheduled! I am rating this book 4 stars because I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book while I was reading it and I will definitely be reading the next book in the series when it is released in January 2014!

I cannot even completely convey the emotions that this series provokes.. It is terrifying, really, the allusion to the dangerous secrets that are never truly revealed in their entirety. But the love and desire portrayed between Lana and Blake is wholesome, unbreakable and completely heart wrenching. It is well written and full of surprises that the reader never even sees coming. Great read!

I liked this series and I read thru the books pretty quickly. The 2 lead characters were easy to like. The reason I am giving the series 4 and not 5 stars is personal taste. I did not care for the God/El theme, child sacrifice, etc. Being an Atheist might have something to do with that...not totally sure. Maybe I just don't like to think there are people in the world who will sacrifice a first born to an unseen entity? I did not care for the Billy character too much.

The Billionaire Banker series box set was an excellent series. I loved the love story and the sub-plots which were full of excitement. Lana was a loving woman who was willing to do everything she could for the people she loved. I loved the conversations where Blake and Lana debated the attitudes of the uber rich and poor. The steps that Blake took to protect Lana made sense to me and it annoys me when the heroine mistakenly believes she can protect herself especially after she has been assaulted. I read this story from beginning to end in one day. Absolutely worthy of five stars.

At first this book seemed similar to some other books, but I very quickly realized this book is not like other books. I loved this book!!! Ms. Le Carre is truly an amazing writer. This story was written beautifully and flowed effortlessly. I was captivated from the first page. Lana is trying to do what she needs to do to help her mother. Blake is a very handsome and rich man who takes her offer. There are twists and turns along the way and the ending left me on the edge of my seat dying to see what happens next. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Le Carre and I am defiantly a fan.

Loved this book. I read a lot of romance , lately they all seem basically the same. Innocent girl meets hot billionaire they have sex fall in love the end. This book was very refreshing. THERE WAS A STORYLINE!!!!! There's danger seduction betrayal suspense. I absolutely loved it.

Loved it. I will definitely be reading more of this author. Lana and Brett was so hot and explosive together. They felt real, and there was a dark depth to their characters I did not expect but I quite enjoyed them.

The only reasons I purchased this book was because the one and two stars told me nothing. Oh bad grammar, that's all? But you have nothing to say on the plot? Then there's no problem, I can over look that. The second reason was because I read the sample of the second book and was glad that it was written in one of the character's point of views. I couldn't get past the first chapter with this one. But decided to suck it up since the writing somewhat improved by the second book.

I don't think I'll be reading the second book though.

Anyways let me just talk about this one. It was awful! God awful! Aside from most sentences not making any kind of sense, the sex the boring, the characters were boring and had no real personality, the writing as a whole sucked. And it was just too overly cliche.

I have read so many billionaire romance books that they all just have the same set ups. Poor/making a decent living kind of girl gets caught up with rich billionaire and she is different from the rest because she doesn't want his money and she is sassy and oh my god he just loves it because it's a challenge and all when it isn't.

The minute I got to the part about their agreement, I had to take a break from this. Girl accepts agreement to be a f buddy to billionaire for so and so amount of time and with it comes a top of the line new place to live, wardrobe, doctor appointment to get on pills because you know he is not going to use a condom. Same with all of these stories, girl go on the pill! You take care of your end of protection because I don't want to wear a condom. And what's this? A full body wax to match his preferences?

Ridiculous. Freaking ridiculous.

And lets go have dinner to give the story some kind of substance even though we know what the main goal of the evening is to just screw each other.

Just ugh. No. And I couldn't believe how she went around telling everyone about the deal she accepted. I mean I guess she would have to if she was not going to be living at home, but I don't know I just think it was dumb and she didn't have a personality when it came to that situation either. It was just "I'm now screwing this guy for money but we'll talk later."

And I think by chapter ten, apparently she was in like with him. But I honestly didn't feel the chemistry at all throughout the book.

I liked the little twist about him being in an arranged marriage, but oh shock what's this? Lana is knocked up?

Yeah no, I'm done with the book. Babies ruin the story and I don't think she needed to be knocked up to make things more twist like, complicated or whatever. This was a total time waster. Though I think I only spent two and a half hours on the book. I skipped a lot and returned it for a refund.

When I found this box set I did not expect the direction it was taking me during my read. Darkness, sex, death and a son. The sex is wild, the death is surprising and the love for his son touches your heart. This box set is a good read

I found this by accident and have read it several times. Absolutely love Blake and Lana. Great book that is not like 50 Shades of Grey that people are saying. It is an original book not about a submissive.

I really enjoyed these books. At times I was excited, sad, confused, happy, and really pissed off all at the same time. Blake and Lana belong together. Blake is powerful and Lana is innocent and they are truly a force to be reckoned with. Together they can over come anything. Great work Georgia. Keep em coming

The plot is familiar: girl needs money, boy offers in exchange for sex, love wrecks havoc. What sets this book apart and high above the crowded field of romance novels is the superb, superb quality of writing. If you want to take a much needed departure from the sometimes crude, amateur books that pass for a 'love story' these days, then let Georgia Le Carre take you away.

She writes in the present simple, a device that gives the reader a startling immediacy, as if they are watching the story unfold right in front of them. Another reviewer touted the precision of the words used, and I could not agree more. Oftentimes, writers fill up their pages with long paragraphs of dialogue, complete with reaction shots, and streams of inner thought processes. In contrast, the words and sentences Georgia Le Carre uses are spare, simple, even economic in their brevity, but man, the visual power they punch.

Here's an example: the heroine, in referring to their apartment, calls it a 'home.' Then, one sentence follows in which she self reflects on the awkwardness of that verbal slip . A few chapters later, it's now the turn of the hero to call it a 'home.' The heroine's reaction? A short 'OK.' But your reaction as the reader-----"Oh, my god, oh my god, he called it a home, too!!!! OHHHHH!" Le Carre knows you don't need to spell it out for the readers, the readers can figure it out for themselves. And what a joy it is to have it hit you like that!

The intelligence with which the writer regards her readers also extends to the divergent economic arguments championed by the main characters. It's very rare to read about the marginalization of the working class by the capitalist system in a romance novel, but it's so refreshing and interesting to read. It also really works well as foreplay.

I loved the two main characters, so mysterious and so strong. Secondary characters are just as richly drawn and invested. In her mother's struggle, you see why Lana would sacrifice so much to keep her alive.

I could go on and on about the elegant turn of words and phrases that Georgia Le Carre shares to tell her love story of Lana and Blake, but it would be a lot quicker if you treated yourself to a few hours and a warm blanket and just get lost in this lovely story beautifully told.

Book 2 is coming out in January, and I'm anxious because I can imagine a not-happily-ever-after ending. But you know what? I'm confidant that, considering the skill of this writer, were it to end this way, it would be OK, too.

This is a great read with erotic moments and a heavy plot to go along with it. It took me a bit to get into it but once I did it was set up for a roller coaster of emotion. One minute I'm beginning to love Blake then I hate him again, lol. He's full of confusion and has lots of love to give; he just has to find out how to do that without sacrificing all he knows. Then there is Lana who is full of love and she knows who she is. She'd do anything for those around her. Mrs. Le Carre is a wonderful writer and has set this series up for some major love, lust, sex, & heartbreak. I look forward to the rest of the series.

First time reading this author.... I enjoyed the book and found myself drawn to the storyline itself.. Even though, in my opinion, this type of book has been done a lot.. saying that, it has grabbed me and has me wondering.. What's next... Could it be something I'm not expecting? I shall see ?

Yes, this story consumed me. The stories have everything that you could possibly image, and more much more. The sexual contents are off the charts. The characters are very involved and evolving on every page. Highly recommended for your reading pleasure.

Story of sacrifices made for those that are dearest to us. Two souls from two very different worlds meet and from that moment are bound to each other There are many obstacles
in their way. The story is very well written.

One of the richest men in the world decides to buy a woman for one month, but changed the contract to three months. Lana needs the money to get her mom's cancer treatment in the states. She is a virgin and this is the only way she can raise enough money . During the contract period she falls in love and gets pregnant. The contract states that if pregnancy occurs she will have to abort. She is confronted by Blake's. 'fiancee'and given a large sum of money to leave, this solves one problem, but creates many more. Great story.

I love it. Yes you will not be disappointed in the first book of this series. Lana has gotten inside Blake's heart but other people that surround them have other ideas. Now there's a cliff hanger and I'm dying to read book two.

The plot, and characters are brilliantly presented to the reader! Thank you for this novel. It has had me on the edge for many a day, while I fought for time to read it. Can't wait for the next in the series.

People will do lots of things for money. And they have lots of reasons to need the money. I, personally, would read for money because I need money to buy more books. Vicious circle. The Billionaire Banker shows us how people will do questionable things for the right reasons. Or in Blake's case...he does the wrong thing for the wrong reasons, but he's fine with that. He doesn't give a crap what you think.

Lana is sweet young girl who is trying to take care of her very sick mother. She makes a very bad decision to sell herself to a really creepy guy to get the money for her mother's treatments. Before she can seal the deal with Mr Creepy, her arrangement is highjacked by the super sexy, old moneyed hotty Blake. She switches deals and gives herself to Blake.

Blake is used to getting what he wants. And he is one cold hearted, emotionless cutie. He is drawn to Lana but are his emotions involved or just his need to win? He always gets what he wants, but why does he want her?

Blake and Lana have some hot scenes. You so want them to break out and really talk to each other. To let themselves feel. Can they overcome the business side of their arrangement to allow emotion in? Is Blake really a jerk or just trying to protect Lana? We get glimpses of his human side, but then he shuts that shit down and reverts back to jerk mode. And Lana? She is confused, hurt and hopeful. Are there just too much differences in their backgrounds, in the worlds they live in to allow for an HEA?

And the end...the HEA? Not here. Nope. The story ends with a cliff. Not really a cliffhanger but more a left turn onto Well Crap Lane. Now we have to wait until January to get the rest of the story. And I do want the rest of the story.

I picked this box set up since it was free with prime membership. I didn't expect to fall in love with the characters and be so drawn into the story. I simply couldn't put it down! The premise is a common one but these books are so well written and there are some major plot twists! Some very Hot love scenes complete this box set. It is a wonderful reading experience and am looking forward to reading the next two books in the series. Very well done in my opinion.

Disappointed is an under statement! I have no idea what I just read. Things fell apart at the end of the first book--then went down hell from there. Too much drama for nothing. There was no flow in the events. I loved Hypnotized, but the author has a tendency not to follow through with certain situations, which leaves the readers with a sense of unfinished business....

Holy cliffhanger batman! I was left drooling for more. This story flowed smooth and I was so immersed that I did not realize I was at the end, until too late. As I prefer the books I read do not have a cliff hanger, because I like to read the entire story at once, I was glad that the next book was not too far off. I was surprised but understood why Lana took Victoria the Viper Vixen’s deal. I can’t wait to for the rest of the story to unfold.

I really enjoyed this book, the characters kept me wrapped up enough that I left the TV off and read though book 1 in 2 days, I am almost done with book 2. I can understand that some of the content might put some people off. The spelling and or grammar errors are something that I have gotten used to lately so I am not so upset by them as others are.

I have this set a one only because I was stupid enough to finish it, even if I was stuck at a Dr appointment with no internet to down load anything else. The story could have been good but the paragraphs were sentences that were too short and sometimes didn't even go together. The author skipped key details that would have made for a much better story. I hope their writing gets better in time as they have the right idea just don't know how to put it into words.

Loved all the five books. The storyline was intriguing and I couldn't wait to get to each book. Lana & Blake's love story and sexual chemistry were blazing hot. This is my first time reading and it won't be my last. Thanks Georgia for coming up with something more original!

Starting this book I was going oh this is so not for me, but I quickly changed my mind. I absolutely love Lana and Blake. They both have their moments where you are going really are you that stupid, but then I would change my tune and I would fall in love with both of them again. The writing is different from what I am use to, but I am a fan. There is a HUGE cliffhanger but don't worry the next book is already out.

Loved the characters, loved that they came from totally different worlds yet were able to love fully and completely. Blake loved Lana with such intensity and it was refreshing how he could show that and feel it and still not compromise that great alpha male quality that we love so much in a hero. She was equally intense in her love of Blake and even though she grew up poor and total opposite of Blake, she had class and grace and was smart and generous and loyal. Sometimes books portray the heroine who grew up less fortunate as tough and cold till she can see her worth through the eyes of the hero, but in this case, I felt that although Lana had momentary doubts about her worth, overall she showed confidence and held her head high while the story's villians tried to knock her down and out. The story itself was unique and intriguing, and could be a bit confusing, but not to the point that you were unable to move forward in the story. The box set only gets us through 3 books, when there are actually 6, so of course I went immediately to .5, 4 and 5 and loved the story to its end.

I will admit I was a skeptic at first, but I liked Lana. The endearing way she cared fir her mum was the draw. I loved Blake because for some reason I was hopeful. You may think a girl needing money for her Mum to have cancer treatment wouldn't turn into such a drama filled novel, but it did. The rich will do anything to protect their bloodlines. How sordid! Now the side characters like Bill and Jack were a big bonus. Moving to book 2 evil people will lurk for sure, so juicy.

I am furious. Once again I have purchased a "left hanging book". As I was reading I was very impressed with the writing and research. Felt like my husband might enjoy reading as this was not a typical romance novel. And then I reached ninety percent or so read and discovered I had been tricked again. I have really tried not to buy these kind of books once I discovered they existed unless ALL of the book in the series were complete. I am growling-----

I was not expecting all the twists and turns in Lana & Blake's love story, but that's exactly what it is. A twisting, winding, roller coaster love story! When you find your one true love it is amazing at what lengths you'll go through to make that other half of you happy & sometimes safe! I enjoyed reading their story, and will add it to my (TBRA) to-be-read-again shelf!

This book begins when Lana is out to dinner with her boss hoping to get him to agree to an deal she has to offer. See Lana is a virgin, and her mother is dying of cancer. Her mother on has a few weeks left so Lana is desperate to get money to have her go to America for treatments. So she heard rumors that her boss pays some woman good money to have sex with him. Now she wants a chance to offer this to him. But while out to dinner she sees a strange man staring at her, and the instant her eyes lock with his everything changes. This man named Blake offers her double what her boss was going to pay for a three month contract. And Lana agrees. Once it all starts though Lana has to worry about losing her heart to this man, and she has to worry about all of the horrible people he has in his family as well.

I'm not a fan of this book at all. I loved the idea of the story at first. But I really hated the fact that Blake was already promised to marry someone else, and I hated how he wouldn't be man enough to stand up to his family for what he really wants. That just drove me crazy. Not only that I feel like he treats Lana badly, just because he's trying to get her out of his system. It was all so stupid in my opinion. I did like Lana though, and because of that I'm kinda interested to see what happens to her. But I really didn't like how it ended. And I hate how Victoria meddled in things it just make it much more frustrating.

Love this billionaire series! I couldn't stop reading until I finished all 5 books. Then I moved on to other Georgia Le Carre books and I'm completely hooked now. Read 2 of her books just today. Great author, great stories!

I liked the first book--classic rich, troubled guy meets vulnerable, poor, girl who becomes love of his life, must against his plans and will. So I read the whole series. After book 2, the author really jumped the shark and got into some very specious mystical god worship that really was goofy. Everybody was talking in philosophical riddles by book 5. So read books 1 and 2 to get the love story then skip the rest.

Well I am truly glad this was a box set cause the books end in cliff hangers, and had I had to wait for the next book to come out I would have gone crazy. But so to hit a few high-lights, Lana wants to save her mother so she try's to sell herself to get the money, along comes Mr. Moneybags and he wants Lana and won't stop til her has her. Then there's the fiancee' that wants her gone and goes to extreme lengths to make that happen & she does. Oh did I mention that there is a lot of sex too, cause there is. Lana has a secret in the beginning and then she has another one later and both shock Mr. Moneybags. But he gets his woman and she gets her man and then all hell breaks loose and he does things to make it all go away. But All in all these books are very well written and has a great story line that will keep you reading and not want to put it down. There are two more books after these that finish the story out that you have to read but It all ends well.

You love Blake immediately. He is all alpha and you know where you stand with him. His character exudes wealth and you want his happiness. Lana is a sweet young girl who needs to be more aggressive. His arranged fiancee is a quiet nightmare. I can't v wait until she gets exposed. Great read.

This is my kind of story and I can't wait to read the next installment to see what happens next. This is not a stand alone, it will continue. The beginning gs of a 'darkish' Cinderella like story I think?

If you like an Alpha male with a tender side this series is for you.
I really liked that there is actually a story not all about the sex. Don't get me wrong there a lot of that and it's hot. But the plot drawls you in. I fond myself not wanting to put it down. I will diffently getting the last book in the series.

This is a very dark & intense story. I'm glad I got it in a box set because I would have been upset if the next book was not available. The characters were interesting and the plot was sinister. There was a bit too much internal dialogue from Lana and a few too many sex scenes. The story was good enough that the author didn't need that as page filler. Despite that, I still enjoyed the story tremendously.

Hooked from the firsr chapter. I read the entire box set in two days. I wont ruin it for anyone but there is plenty of suspense, sarcasm, passion and in their own strange way romance. I highly recommend this series

I loved this story. So steamy and very graphic. I especially liked the divide of rich and poor. It wasn't like anything I've read before. In most books that have a rich and poor dynamic it's just made known that the difference is there. Georgia really dives into the differences from an objective pov. Can't wait for the next chapter in Lana & Blake's story.

This series is mesmerizing. Don't deprive yourself of the pleasure of reading all five volumes. The underlying new (or old) world order theme is fascinating and scary, and the love stories enthralling. Georgia Le Carre is a true writer. Some of the e-books had some editing errors, but easily overlooked. Read these.

Unbelievable! But yet, very believable; so glad for Lana having the last laugh w Blake's ruthless family. But more importantly, him risking it all for love. For a while there, we weren't sure what direction he'd lean. Phenomenal story and wicked page turner! Exhausting.

Georgia Le Carre knows how to write a story you can't put down. There is just enough suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat. The love story included hot, steamy, and passionate sex. Blake and Lana are two tortured souls who love each and their son. The love is so strong they would die for each other and their son. Can't wait to read Seduce Me to see where it takes me.

This book is so much better than any book I've read before. It's really above 50 Shades and The Crossfire Series. Blake is from old money and Lana is a peasant. She has won his heart even though everyone is out there to tear them apart!

Good love story with a little obsession thrown in. This couple's love went a little beyond the normal for me. It was really good to see that they were determined to be together no matter what was thrown their path. All the bizarre things going on in the background had my head spinning after reading this story.

Love the entire series. I was a first time reader of Georgia's books and I can say I will definitely be reading all her books. Hot steamy sex doesn't crowd the storyline. Georgia Le Carre really delivers a hot romance story, filled with intensity, intrigue and shocks. I just love our heroine Lana and the mysterious Blake Law Barrington.
Even the secondary characters are beautifully infused into this series, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I wasn't expecting to become so invested in this story. A young woman sells herself to pay for the cancer treatments that her mother needs. She ends up with a very rich man who wants her for 90 days. Neither party understands the lengths that his father and fiancee will go to in separating them. But, after a year apart, and the accidental death of her mother they meet again. He is enraged at her for leaving and she is afraid for her son.
I won't go into more details but will say that this is not your typical billionaire and the woman he loves story.
I hated some of the people and the poverty exposed but I love this story.

I read this book in a day! I started the series Tuesday of last week and I'm on. lol 4. It starts off very reminiscent of 50 shades of gray but then has its own twists and turns and you get sucked into the book!

I loved this book just wish the next book was coming out before January. I may have to re-read this again before then. I loved the interaction between the main characters though they were from two different backgrounds they found a common ground. The book does somewhat end on a cliff hanger. The story flowed very nicely, the characters were well developed. I would recommend this book to a reader looking for a great romance. I am anxious to read the next book in this series. I have not read anything from this author and this was a very pleasant captivating read I had a hard time putting the book down.

Reminded me of 50 Shades, however, not happy with the abrupt ending. Big time cliffhanger. If you have a problem with cliffhanger, this is not the book for you.

I really liked the story line and the way the characters evolved. Yes, there's a lot of sex, but the story line is great. I even went so far as to read the next two book. For those who like mystery and suspense, the unusual story line with the old families is intriguing. Loved this series.

Ok this started slow but picked up quickly! Nice easy read and I loved Blake! Why must here always be a butter shrew... I could have slapped that wench Victoria and Marcus was not any better. Rich folks UGH!

Wow! Just wow! Just when I thought this was going to be your average fall in love romance I had my feet kicked out from under me. WARNING... it does end in a cliffhanger and I've never one clicked a second book so fast. Just finished book one and two in less than two hours and yes I'm a speedreader but I HAD to know where this series was going next. Holy Blooming Fried Green Tomatoes. Give this author a standing ovation and stand back in awe because she knows how to spin a story! Loved it!

Blake's family is outrageous, powerful and mysterious. It is hard to fathom the whole conspiracy angle, but his love and protective instincts for Lana and Sorab are a wonderful side to the other crazy aspects. It will be interesting to experience what comes next for them in his twisted world.

This book was like getting punched out of nowhere and then trying to figure out what happened. It was like at 70% and then BAM (SPOILER ALERT) they are in love? I mean we saw more time of Lana with Billie then we did of her with Blake. But suddenly they are in love? And the writing was very British, so unless you are familiar with the terms you will be lost in some areas. Not to mention the POV changes towards the end. Such a confusion cluster. No thank you. I will not be continuing the series. I am sure there is something better out there.

Near the top of my best books I have ever read list!! Love the drama and hot sex between Lana and Blake. So much of this book is easy to believe and some seems so far out there. But I don't know which as I go through it. Can't wait for the final part of their story!!

Blake was a true snob and play boy and bad boy mixture add billions of dollars and his family unattached personalities and lack of emotion you a Blake.

Now this series shocked my in the best way possible. It's a theme I enjoy: girl meets billionaire boy, sparks fly, interesting plot, and insane passion with some unforeseen twists and turns (understatement of the year :). I couldn't put this series down and enjoyed every moment. I believe this series evoked every emotion possible. It's steamy, very well written and I never wanted it to end.

A very interesting read with many twist and some odd conception of society norms of monetary status and control . A rich verses poor domination with a spicy primal love connection , good to the last page.

Oh those billionaires and their "arranged" marriages. The men are never happy and they always seem to find an innocent woman to love, off to read book 2 to see what happens next!!!

I was really drawn to this book and I really loved the softer side of Blake. He made me swoon when he told Lana that he wants to return Lana as she was, pure and innocent and when he took the hit from the car trying to save Lana.

The only reason why it's a 4 star is because of the cliffhanger ending. I also really hate the dark world of the rich!

Great story line....turned from a basic hug them, love them and leave them book...! Wow...kept reading....yes had to read until the end...no cliff hangers but there could be more......this turns from lust, control to a breaking down of a Heart to feel again. Power of others over you and evil...evil.... Great great read.

What a book! I absolutely loved it from the first chapter. I was instantly drawn into the pain and desperation of the main character Lana and I felt I could relate to her. The writing style is excellent and the author has a natural ability to suck you into the story with a great plot and steamy characters. A great read.

Fantasy at best but entertaining to the max. Victoria is a viper straight off and Blake is a lost soul, Lana has no idea what her identity is or she would not compromise. Crazy things we do for those we love.

1st book in series. He's richer then rich and she's so poor she can only sell herself to save her mom. Man he is one cold man...when he begins to show some emotion something bad happens and everything changes. A future wife doesn't like a mistress so one must go. Can't wait to read 2nd book.

Strong character personalities that consume your attention from the beginning. Intricate details with references to mythology. The only discrepancy that was unbelievable was taking Sorab to Italy with them when he is still supposed to be Billie's baby. The passion is eloquently obvious and exciting between them. Can't wait to continue the story.

I have to say I really liked this series, but at times I was lost and concussed. Blake and Lana's story is great. This book series is very different and at times you get lost in the book, but then you keep reading and the story opens up. Looking forward for the next books.

True love....that's what Blake and Lana have..but is it enough? I could not put the book down. I believe that I would have done the same for my mom that Lana was doing for her mom.....but it is heartbreaking. Loved the book, read it in about 30 hours in between sleep and work!

Wow! First book in a series of 5 and I read 1 1/2 books straight through one night! I could not put them down until exhaustion forced me to sleep at 5 a.m.! A pretty long series;hard to get anything done because I couldn't put down till I finished it. It wasn't perfect due to a few errors, but they didn't distract from the plot. The whole thing was dramatic and erotically intense. Complicated drama.

I read a lot of books. I rate this series as 5 stars. The characters were extremely engaging. The storyline was thought provoking. The dynamics of the various character's relationships was very descriptive and truly realistic. Overall, this series left me wanting more.

I enjoyed the plot, the political implications, the emotional turmoil of the characters. For my tastes there was a bit too much time spent on the sexual descriptions but I am sure some would disagree. This series is well written and enjoyable.

I enjoyed the way the author developed Blake from being so cold and ruthless to the beginnings of a softer emotional side. Lana also spread her wings from a frightened, naive and vulnerable girl to a woman aware of her sensuality and strength. Although with this only being book one there was no happily ever after, I felt hope that the second book would deliver the necessary ending. I certainly hope it is a happily ever after.

Well developed characters interlaced with a well thought out plot to bring this novel to life on each and every page. With vivid descriptions of the scenery, the colorful supporting characters' lives and the differences between Blake and Lana's upbringing, I felt as if I was there on the pages as well. Excellent book. All I can say is: Where is book two???!!

I would recommend this book to all romance readers.

5/5 stars Can she dip in the rich man's world and come out unscathed?

I wanted to like it. But I found it to be a poor “knock off” of all of the Dom/Sun books out there. I kept trying to put myself in Lana -the heroine’s -place but I just couldn’t relate. She subjected her self to way too much degrading and then jutified it each time... it just wasn’t okay. Ladies, have self respect and never let someone treat you this way. It went WAY beyond a Dom/Sub relationship, it was pure disrespect/humiliation in my eyes.
Apparently, many people loved it. But it just wasn’t for me. I felt myself shaking my head way too many times.

Such a great read this book kept me on the edge of my seat from page one. I love the story of Lana and Blake and all the turmoil they both go through. Hope you write more stories about these fantastic characters.

This book was so weird!! It started out as a “Pretty Woman” rip off and then moves on to some weird religious cult nonsense; it leaves to many unanswered questions. The ending was just flat. I’m glad it was free and now I just really want to know how it ends!

Loved the series...could not get enough of Blake and Lana! Read all books within a week. Glad I stumble upon the series and even better they were part of my Kindle Unlimited! Now I am reading whatever Georgia writes...Masquerade is next.

WOW I was up till 4 AM to read 2nd book. Twisted,funny,scary, makes you wonder if this couldn't be happening in real life. Makes you feel sorry for Lana and even Blake. Bobbie is so funny, takes some of the dark, bizarre less realistic. Loved the POV of Blake ,could almost make book from that. Wanted to read more. One ? who is Julia, no mention thru 1st three books and has major part in book 4. Guess I will find out....

Not good and not a complete set - you have to buy more to finish the story. It did not interest me enough to even consider buying the rest. . It jumped around and was confusing. In one paragraph they would be at dinner then the next it was another day completely. This happened a lot throughout all the books. The romance was lacking and the sex scenes were lame. I borrowed through the lending library and felt it was a waste of a borrow.

Premise was interesting in the beginning but it quickly degenerated into unbelievable and ridiculous. It was billed as hotter than Fifty Shades, but all I got out of it was a big yawn.

The commentary about the billionaire families running the world may have a ring of truth in it, but the twist into the sons of El and secret rituals made what could have been a moderately interesting read a "finished the series, but wish I hadn't even started it" read.

We all need money, be it for pleasure or survival it is always needed no matter what. But the ways used to get it is not always of the straight and narrow kind. Some steal it, others kill for it, and others will even sell themselves.

In the case of the heroine Lana in this new read from author Georgia Le Carre she is there to sell herself to earn the money she so desperately needs, but will she be able to walk the line to earn victory or simply admit defeat ?

Because this read is part of a series am only going to give a short opinion as I really do not want to spoil this read for anyone.

The main characters were all very well written and each one gave their own unique bang to the read. From Lana the strong and willing to do the unthinkable to the totally deliciously captivating and very mysterious Blake.

The read offered up some truly fascinating secondary characters , which was really fantastic as too many times I have read a excellent book with good main characters and the secondary characters are too faded and it feels like they are out of touch with the rest of the cast, not the case in this read it felt as it the author really let all the characters each have a brilliant part in shaping this read.

The backdrop settings were vivid and intriguing and kept perfectly in tune with the story going on. The dialogue was emotional and awesome sexy overload, loved it!

I am taking away a message of not all is what it seems and sometimes what needs to be done must simply be done, no questions asked, just suck it up and get it over with, you might find a surprise waiting on the other side.

I look forward to the next part of this series. I recommend this book for any romance fan looking for a sensually, sexy hot read filled with a endless world of wondrous what next moments! The author kept me on the edge of my seat and I could not wait to find out more! Le Carre is a master storyteller that will leave you in awe of her writing !

Book one starts a little slow but before you realise you are suddenly hooked with this story, especially the two main characters, Lana and Blake who quite simply are wonderfully written into what at first seems like the usual romance read, but you soon discover this is no ordinary romance story, it is filled with suspense,intrigue and hot sex, and by the time you have finished book two Forty 2 Days, you will be mesmerised by this fabulous plot and how this author's vivid imagination propels this page turner to an ending where you simply cannot wait to read the third book in this series, Besotted. This time ms Le Carre invests us in the beautiful love that is growing between hero and heroine, but still answering many of the questions that arise throughout the first two books, and the sex scenes, they just keep getting better and better with one of the most original hot scenes you will encounter.

I cannot wait for further books in this fantastic series, and you simply, must read.

Blake and Lana 's story had me so wrapped up that I couldn't stop until I finished all three books. There is a bit of suspense, a powerful love story, and a happily ever after, I hope. There are still loose ends, dangerous people, and secrets that could come back to take their joy away. Very anxious to read more from this author.

Good story plot! Like that this didn't end just like that and was a little more complex. Liked that there was meddling people to hate. Not a good romance novel if there isn't the jealous peeps to try and keep them apart!! Can't wait to read the second book!!

I read this entire series over the holidays and could not put it down. I loved Blake and Lana so much and also found Billie to be so amusing and interesting. All of the twists throughout the books keep you hanging on to every word. I was also amazed at how well written and researched every book was. A definite must read!!

Really great read. Hard to put down. Only thing I didn't care for the ending in this book. I really hope we get good closure with Julies side. Great plot but could have explained a little more into his dark secrets

I really enjoyed this story I couldn't put it down and read it a day. Great book for a great price. Lana wants still badly till know the secrets but I believe Blake is right tool keep her in the dark but doing still he keeps us in dark to. Can't wait till read the next book to continue the story

Crap why did it end like that. My mind is racing with "what will happen next." I just want to choke the hell out of Victoria and slap Marcus and his father. They could have left well enough alone and let him follow his heart. They were in love at first sight UGH.....

January is not coming fast enough for me. I really enjoyed this debut novel and am on edge now.

I really liked this book. I loved Blake and Lana, Billie was my favorite though. I wish that the book would have gone into a little more about the life of the rich bankers and the corruption in their world. I also thought that Victoria would have put up more of a fight though. All in all I liked the book and am now a fan of Georgia Le Carre!

I tried to get into this series but I just can't. The "heroine", Lana, is just to weak for me. She has no backbone and isn't a match for Blake, his family, or his arranged marriage fiance. I don't get all the high marks for this series. I read the first book and got halfway through the second and then I had to stop. It was boring and the characters just didn't do it for me.

Exciting & intriguing, very different from any other novel or series. The author is truly an artist with her unique storytelling. I could not stop reading, enthralled into the story. Twisted but sizzling with love, lust, sex, romance, passion & a captivating story of darkness, danger & insanity. A fantastic series!

First off I want to start w there are some editing errors but that's easily overlooked.

I liked the story. Some of it seemed far fetched but I know it's fiction lol. I can't wait for the final chapter to see how everything comes together.

Georgia Le Carre has such a way with telling a storie. When I first downloaded this three book series it was not what I expected. But I was hooked from the first chapter. Even so I went back and downloaded the next two to finish Lanas story. Then I got masquerade so I can read billies story. If you like some dark nail biting romance these books are for you. Highly recommended

I was really surprised how good this book was written. It really kept me interested to the very end. The story is exciting! If you haven't read any other book of Georgia Le Carre, I think this one will be best to start with. Highly recommended!
