Mr. Woods ego is hurting his writing. This book is horrible, and I have been a long time fan of Stone and Dino. I really think Mr. Woods needs to start concentrating on his plots more and stop living vicariously through Stone and Dino's sex lives, because he's ruining his books.

I enjoy reading Stuart Woods Stone Barrington books. I like the characters and feel as though I almost know the people sometimes. They spend money like it's nothing, have exotic adventures and travel more than I would ever want to. Sure is fun to read about it and know I can put it down and walk away when I get my fill.

Stewart Woods never fails to satisfy! His Stone Barrington stories are filled with suspense and
romance. His characters become almost like friends as you read through their eyes on the printed
pages of this novel.

I really liked this, even though I figured out who the murderer was early on. It is pure escapism - like a beach read for the cold days of January. I don't understand the negative reviews. The Stone Barrington books never purport to be "War and Peace" or quantum physics. I've read them all and enjoy keeping up with the antics of Stone and Dino. Stuart Woods provides a lot more entertainment than, say, James Patterson, and I will continue to buy the Stone Barrington installments. Can't wait for the next one!

I have read every Stuart Woods novel. A (former) great writer in a long steady decline. The last 4 -5 books have continually eroded in style, quality, and plot. I had moved to buying Woods novels at 2nd hand book stores becasue I can no longer justify buyng new. Think I have actullay read my last Woods novel --- not woth the price of 2nd hand paperback.

I have been a fan of Stuart Woods Stone Barrington novels for a long time and was anxiously waiting for this one to come out. Much to my dismay, I was very disappointed in the novel and felt it was just cranked out to line the authors pockets.

Stuart Woods ranks is one of my favorite authors of all times. He is "lucky" with women - he can have anyone in his bed in a flash but overall, he writes a great story that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the final page. I drop whatever I am reading when I get my hands on his latest book (I have all of his in my library) and I usually read the new book in a day - two at the most.
