A really fun page turner. Yes, some of his earlier books are more gripping and relevant but if you're looking for a good escapist mystery that's pure fun and fantasy (Dream on!), this us your vacation reading.

Like many of the "new" Stuart Woods stories. A lot of narrative. Good characters that we keep waiting to develop . What we would give for those "old" Woods' charcters! (I.e., Swimming to Catalina)

I liked that he wasn't taken advantage by another female character. At first it read that it would, and I thought, here we go again...but I was surprised and enjoyed the story. I enjoyed him getting a 'gift' the dog and the 'job,' and then giving it back, to humanity.

I've read every One of the Stone Barrington series and have enjoyed them immensely. Easy to read, great characters, lots of intrigue yet not stressful. My kind of book. Plan on reading all the other series by Stuart Woods.

What has happened to Stuart Woods books, use to not be able to put them down, now can hardly finish one. I especially disliked most of dishonorable intentions, not a prue but the Menage de Tois was totally in bad taste, only when billy appeared did I feel like finishing the book.

This, another in the Stone Barrington series; is a little of a slow starter. However; once it starts, it takes off like a jet engine and that engine doesn't stop till the very last word. Stone Barrington's character just keeps getting better!
