Rule's Obsession (The House of Rule Book 1)

I enjoyed this book with its strong characters and cohesive storyline. The sex scenes are extremely hot and there is enough story in between to make anticipation build. The male lead is a bit possessive but the rest of the story makes up for it.

I love Lynda chance everything she writes is wonderful. This book is hot and sexy, every woman's wet dream I wish I could be any of the women in her books they have everything we all want and mostly never get. REAL MEN....

Cannot ever go wrong with a Lynda Chance book. It has all the required elements with great dialogue, hot sex, and an interesting story. If you are familiar with Lynda's work, you will not be disappointed.

There is no hero like a Chance hero- Crazy, possessive and smokin' hot. So much blazing alpha goodness you will revel in each and every chapter. And the heroine in this story - Angie. She is so saucy! I loved the dialogue! The interchanges between the lovers made me gleefully happy. Ten chapters aren't enough. The story jumped from first date to months later with a turn of the page. I sooo wanted more time with Damien. He may be the best hero L.C. has written to date. ( Although I have a soft spot for Josh, Logan and Raul.) I never want a Chance story to end. Why Lynda Why?

I thought this was jus another erotica novel but as i read i just fell in love with the story line and i would recommend this to book clubs and to anyone who wants a good read in general....this book keeps you engaged and wanting to read non stop. Im definitely buying the complete series. #lovethisbook

I was hesitant about reading this book because of all the negative reviews but I absolutely LOVED everything about it!!! The characters were awesome, the story moved at a nice pace without major drama to weigh it down, and it had a HEA!! A must read!!

Lynda Chance is a writer with an imagination that is so wide in range. She brings her characters to be absorbed and fantasized about. Damien Rule is in a category all by his self: alpha, possessive, controlling, rich, what he wants he gets. Angie is his want and he goes after her in a roguish, devilish, sweet at times man way that makes you love him and feel for him. He aims and when he fires look out, his target is his and his alone, no one else gets to claim what he owns.

The House of Rule is a go, keep them coming Lynda.

Let me start by saying I really enjoy Lynda Chance's work. "Marco's Redemption" and "Seduced by An American Millionaire" are two of my favorites. I generally enjoy how she writes the Alpha Male character. However, not so much this time. Marco had just enough of crazy and vulnerability to make him very compelling. Damian comes across as a little crazy. Scary crazy even. What's with the constant profanity? It did not endear him to me. I liked Angie's character. She was probably one of the stronger more assertive of Lynda's female character and I enjoyed getting to know her, but its wasn't enough to make this a good read for me. Lynda will still be on my must read list, but this one did not do it for me.

My favorite Lynda Chance book up to this point was Marco's Redemption, but this Rule's Obsession is by far her best book yet! I was a little disappointed in the "Redwood Falls" series, but in this book she is back to being a super writer. Grabs you right up front and doesn't let the reader go. Just love these alpha males, strong females, and the HEA. You rule Lynda! P. S. Since Damien has brothers, I hope there are two other books to follow? Looking forward to them!
