Walt Longmire Christmas Stories (A Penguin Special) (Walt Longmire Mysteries)

I watched the TV show Longmire and became hooked because of the exceptional cast of characters. After reading "Christmas in Abaroka County", I now realize the author, Craig Johnson created those characters. I enjoyed these stories.

This collection was just right for a quick read on a cold night. As with all Longmire books, I was left wishing for more. Maybe along the line, Johnson will give us an update on a couple of these short story characters.

People who could be real, in stories so much like the Wyoming I remember. Bitter sweet would be the best way I could describe the stories. I would like to read more like them and I do not usually like short stories.

Anybody that likes a quick uplifting read will enjoy these short stories. All tie into the spirit of the Christmas season and let us share with Walt the joy that he receives even when he is not in the mood.
