I absolutely loved this book! I applaud Claire for being able to pull off having an alpha male, and a strong independent female. This story was incredibly well written and Camille and Warren's chemistry was off the charts! Now I'm reading all of Claire's books!

I devoured this book in one sitting . Because when Claire contreras releases a book it's like Christmas , New Years and my birthday all at once . I can't possibly explain how much I love her books . Her writing and everything she creates .

First , let's talk about that cover ! I mean holy hotness batman ! I couldn't stop staring at it and once I got a glimpse I was restless to get my hand on the story and boy was I amazed by the story . I was hooked from the first page , because. When reading one of Claire's books all my senses are on high alert because I know that every detail matters and every little thing will serve its purpose . And I wasn't wrong about this one .

She starts the story very simple and that's her trick , and genius at the same time because The thing is once you start thinking you' e got it all figured out Claire will throw that little twist that'll throw you off guard and makes you sit at the edge of your seat until the very last page . In this one Claire, makes us work for every single thing, you'd be waiting for the little touch , she'd make you ache for every little interaction and leaves you waiting for their next encounter .She had made me work for Camilla and warren's escapades , banter , and omg the sex ! She made it stew so long the outcome was explosive . She had a very nice buildup to the story and nice slow burn that made the anticipation that much higher and when she gave me what have been waiting for I was shivering from the emotions and high from the chemistry between these two .

Her writing is so simple yet so beautiful . She'd make some little statements that'll stay with you forever . I'm sure y'all haven't forgotten about real love stories never end on paper hearts . Well guys get ready because you will be chasing moments in this one . She wrote us such an intricate , clever , nice build up and an excellent ending so very well executed it left me smiling and hugging my kindle to my chest .

Definitely one of my favorite Claire books and favorite reads this year .

I love Warren and Camila. Warren was confident, but sweet. Camila was a strong, independent female character. I enjoyed the mystery and angst. I like when the characters don't fall into bed right away.

The Player by Claire Contreras was one of the best books I have read in 2016!

Warren and Camila had such fire that I became so invested in there story the entire day went by around me.

HOT!!!! This was CRAZY good!! I love Claire's books, and this one is at the top! War is amazing, like HOLY STARS amazing. This whole book was freakin great and I want to re-read it immediately. *fans self*

Claire has outdone herself. You feel all the emotions each character feels. Warren makes you melt. Camilla u s a beautiful strong women. This story has sports in it. But it is so much more. A love story. Sit back relax and read a wonderful story.
