Head Over Heels (A Lucky Harbor Novel)

Absolutely loved this book - it pulled me in, captured me, and held me until the very end! I loved all of Chloe's quirks that made her unique and I loved Sawyer's strength and caring nature. The growing bond between the sisters was touching, and the best part was the heat between Chloe and Sawyer - always simmering and ready to boil over! Loved it!

My mom bought me "Christmas in Lucky Harbor" for Christmas, and I just HAD to buy head over heels as soon as I found out it was the third novel in the series! Jill Shalvis is a WONDERFUL author! go ahead, read it, I dare you. it is love.

Jill Shalvis is a talented writer for sure. However, in this book, I found that I got a little bogged down by the introductions of so many characters and their quirky issues. I felt sorry for Sawyer, the local sheriff, to have to deal with so many problems, but these situations didn't really seem to show any more insight into Sawyer the person. So, instead of being charmed or enlightened, I felt bored and skipped these sections.

I loved the beginning, but before I finished the last 50 pages, I found myself wanting to read something else. I am STILL working on the last few pages...but have lost interest.

I LOVED the first two books of this series and wanted to like this one. It's not bad. It's just that I've read so many romances, I'm pretty picky. This isn't a re-read for me.

This novel is just that...predictable from the first page. Not a lot of conflict. The sexual tension between Sawyer and Chloe is a tad extreme. The language is pretty elementary...the vulgarity is totally unnecessary and doesn't add to the story at all. It took me about 90 mins to read this book...and that's all I would give it. That being said, I can see how people who have read the other Lucky Harbour stories would like this book...the characters have history and connection with each other that goes beyond the immediate story. It's a fun read.

i have enjoy reading this series of books about the girls that came to Lucky Harbor. Most of the charcters all worked well together and i enjoy how that all had different talents that came together and became not only friends but close sisters.

After reading Fifty shades of grey serious I was looking for another great romantic read! This is the 3rd Lucky Harbor book. I have loved each of them. Highly recommend if your looking for a romance. It makes me smile and laugh!
