Great cohesive storyline and solid character development with the antagonist. Most LitRPG books feel poorly written without much thought behind the actual story and if it makes sense, and World-Tree simply feels a bit more thought out and, well, professionally written. Something the genre is desperately needing right now.

Fantastic book. It balances a long timeline with an appropriate amount of information- it's a bit longer read but it doesn't drag on. I couldn't stop until I finished. The ingenuity of the characters is also really neat.

This book was a great read. The author is writing more in the series, but ties up a story arc in this book. The story takes place over decades and it's really cool to see how things progress over a huge timeline. I also loved the scheme for how the players get stuck, the time shift is a cool idea.

I really loved this book it had everything I enjoy in a litrpg book, long hard level grinding and ingenious solutions to problems. It was so well written, when I started it I thought the time dialation would affect the quality, but it didn't.
I look forward to the future installments of this series

I rarely leave reviews. This book is worth it though. With so many gimmicks out there in LitRPG/ gamelit books, this book stands out with well written characters and plot. It reads like the author has been writing for decades. Well worth the price. I can’t wait for the next book. WOW!

Think SAO, but incredibly boring. I mean, the super OP “exploit” ability the MC comes up with is...void gun. Literally the exact same ability every character starts with, but with “negative energy.” I could go on but it’s just not very well written. The MC with the cheat ability is the weakest party member. The author doesn’t seem to get litRPG.

Well written for the most part, with a well thought out and unique premise. Great PvE, and would have been really good with just that or even having the AI being an active protagonist. Have no idea why Hooper thought Lucas the dooshcanoe was a good idea. That character completely ruined the whole book for me.

Honestly a surprising but truly phenomenal story, some would complain it doesn't have enough traditional RPG elements in it to be in this genre, but considering how old the genre even is I'd say screw them. This was a book with an honestly very creative and refreshingly new main character, and a truly good villain. Both the protagonist and antagonist grow further and further into their roles while we see the steps that lead them to those points and their finale. Every character also had their own quirks and personalities, while the story itself was amazingly unique too. Truly a great book.

This book was very well written. I appreciated that it was full length, and the author didn’t try to break it up into multiple parts. The characters and game world were very well developed and I found myself unable to put the book down because I had to know what happened next.

I loved this story! Great challenges, determination of the characters to improve themselves (including decades spent improving, without our needing to see each step), and I liked that people forgave each other and yet there are still consequences for negative actions.
