I love this book and everything that comes out of StoryBrand. The information they share works. It is easy to adopt and experience immediate results, and they keep on giving you material to supplement the book and help you clarify your message further. The book is a win. A quick must read.

Literally top 3 books I've ever read! Simple, clear and to the point. It's clearer and easier to implement than any other marketing or storytelling book I've read. If you like practical steps and not a bunch theories, and if you communicate with other humans. Get the book!

This book is a must read for business owners, marketers, pastors, politicians, and anyone else that wants to communicate a clear message! In a marketing world full of cheap tricks, Donald Miller gets straight to core of communication: story. This book has forever changed the way I view marketing and communication. It would be a steal at $100. Thank you Don!

Love, love, love this book! It makes you think about your brand, your vision, your client/customer needs in a different way than a lot of other business/sales books. Not only that but you have the ability to create your own stories and fill out each step on their dedicated story brand website.

As a fan of the StoryBrand podcast, this book had a lot to live up to. It did...and more. I will share this book and keep it on my shelf to refer to and refresh myself over and over on the timeless principles Don shares. Practical, concise, insightful common sense. This is how marketing and buying works.

Finally, a book that explains storytelling in a way that makes sense to me. I have long known that telling stories is important, but I didn't really understand how to use it until I read this book. Highly recommend!

This book should be required reading for anyone involved with marketing or growing a business. You will learn how to make your customer feel like the most important person in the room, not you or your business. Customers don't really care that much about your business, they care how you can solve their problem. This book will help you craft your language so it's clear and attracts more customers.

Absolutely loved this book. I've read everything Miller has written through the years and "Building a StoryBrand" didn't disappoint. I recently rebranded my small business and followed the SB7 framework on our new website. We have definitely clarified our message and I'm excited to see what the future holds. Thank you Don. This was much needed.

The treadmill analogy is so accurate! I feel bad for all the miles I’ve tried to get people to run! The only part of this book I didn’t like is I kept getting sidetracked just thinking of all the things I have been doing wrong. Time to go back to the drawing board and build a story brand!

Having read over 180 business books this is in my top five books I would recommend to any person trying to build a business. As the CEO of a technology start up this book came at just the right time to setup our brand message properly.

Reasons why this review is worthwhile:
1. I've never written a review for any book. This book is so good I was compelled to do so.
2. I own a business and we immediately implemented Storybrand as our framework. We changed the way we speak to prospects, we revamped the front-end of our website, and we onboarded a new sales employee very easily (using the Storybrand framework). This new employee speaks to our customers and prospects in a way that feels like he has been selling our product for years.
3. It's simple. And that's the point.
4. I would draw a parallel to what Miller's Storybrand company is doing in marketing as to what Dave Ramsey has done in the personal finance industry. Nerds in either vertical would be the first to note how elementary and simplistic either Miller or Ramsey makes their content. However, it takes extremely high-level or genius level strategy and execution to make something complex (marketing or personal finance) digestible for anyone. That's the beauty of it.
5. I've never gone to an author's website to use the free-resources referenced in their book. Until Storybrand. I love their "Brandscript".
Keep rockin' Storybrand peeps!

This is one of my favorite business books of 2017. I love the voice Donald and the StoryBrand team add to help get past all the "best practices" and noise that is in the education space for business, marketing, and branding. I would recommend this book to anyone who has any input into what messaging a company will use to attract customers.

Step by step guide to a revolutionary marketing concept. Easy to read with a profound thought on virtually every page. Read this one fast then again real slow to pick up the nuance.
Powerful stuff here.

This is a very interesting approach that helps create better relationships with your customers. I have used portions of this process but I didn't have the complete process. This is a very good tool to update your approach to customers.

This is a "must read" for leaders, marketers, followers, everyone. I have intuitively understood that storytelling is important, but this book deconstructs that notion in clear, understandable and actionable ways that will help any business connect with their customers to solve their problems (and make the world a better place)!
