I enjoyed Temple Secrets. The description of the South Carolina coastal area and Savannah made me want to take a trip. I loved the character of Queenie and the relationship between Queenie, Violet, Old Sally and Rose was precious. Definitely a feel good book.

Temple Secrets is a bountiful read, intriguing and humorous and full of real humanity. Miss Iris sets the scene but the twists and turns are undeniably the best parts! The ending is the stuff of dreams!

What a wonderfully refreshing story! I could not wait to turn the page to unfold the next chapter in each of the characters lives. Being from Louisiana,I could relate to much of the scenery and history. This is the first book I have read by this author and I can't wait to read even more!

Just finished this fabulous book!
Gabriel's style reminds me of Pat Conroy's, especially the descriptions of the ocean and marsh, which include all the senses. I love the Savannah setting with its historic homes, lifestyle, secrets, mysteries, and ghosts. The characters are well-developed, and you will be cheering for each, except Edward.
