I loved this book. Although Trump can drive me crazy with his delivery sometimes, this book really explains how he has a full understanding of what is wrong with government today and he is going down the right path to fix it. He is on the money when he uses the term "fake news." The media is correct that what they report is mostly true but it is what they decide to emphasize. For example, in Today's paper front and center in Nation and World section-story about how only 53 of the 105 illegal immigrants that were separated have been united. Not one shred anywhere about 105 shootings with 15 fatalities in the city of Chicago over 4th of July.

I loved where Newt Gingrich described Donald Trump as a person that does not give up. If he can't get something to work he just keeps trying different avenues. The media just reports the first failure.

Newt has captured the State of the Union with this work. It is extremely difficult for the "deplorables" of the country to navigate today's political landscape. This book helps us to understand the complexity of winning the presidency and trying to keep it!

The Speaker is the smartest man in politics. His people skills are just fine and his intolerance to idiots when he flashes that Cheshire smile of disdain is priceless. Newt has made serious coin writing books about President Trump, and his work is uniquely insightful and always educational. You always go to class with Newt and " Trump's America " is an up-to-date analysis of President Trump's year and a half performance in office. And surprisingly, the President has achieved plenty that is correct and commendable. Newt delves into this performance that is positively affecting the mood of the country despite the robotic conformity of hate by the bobble-headed worthies of the media and the prancing figurines of the official snobocracy.
Read this book and be educated politically as you learn the truth of this extraordinary Presidency.

I like Newt Gingrich whether he speaking or writing so I was eager to read this particular book. I enjoyed the book but not as much as some of the other books Gingrich has written on Trump. I liked the way the material was organized and presented and it did a great job of detailing the positive things that President Trump has accomplished.
I would recommend the book.

Here’s the story of how America is actually and consistently recovering that is NEVER mentioned by the corrupt media, a leftist propaganda engine masquerading as legitimate news organizations. This book has stepped into the breech so that We the People do not miss the Truth of this most important news story of our lifetimes.

Newt Gingrich delivers a masterful book that not only examines Donald Trump and his accomplishments as President but also presents an insightful and educational examination of our exceptional nation. The Speaker has played an important part of our history, and he provides an invaluable look at our politics, our culture and the road ahead. Highly recommended!

Trumps America: The Truth About America’s Great Comeback by Newt Gingrich was received directly from the publisher. Newt was the architect of the Contract With America and was the actual driving force of the budget surpluses during the Clinton years while he was the Speaker of the House. Nowadays he does political commentary and writes fiction and non fiction books, in case you didn’t know. The books intent is to document the changes that America has undergone in the first 18 months of President Trumps administration. This includes, but is definitely not limited to, national pride, unprecedented job creation and the rebuilding of the military, since you will hear none of this in the mainstream media. This book will show you how Trumps America is sick and tired of the status quo where is doesn't matter if a Republican or Democrat is “in charge,” since nothing ever changed. We can only hope that Trumps America will continue to vote with common sense for the country, not because “every politician (except mine), should be voted out." The current course correction should continue. If you believe in Make America Great Again or if you only watch the mainstream news, you should definitely give this book a read. Let the hater comments start now....

Trump's America by Newt Gingrich
Jun 12, 2018
Newt Gingrich writes about America's great comeback under President Donald Trump. The comeback of "one nation" rejects "multiculturalism" and reasserts the idea of America as a melting pot. We are held together by our unifying beliefs in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The idea of American exceptionalism is resurfacing. It is imperative that American culture survives. Newt says illegal immigration must stop to allow assimilation. I would call what has happened a Third World invasion.

The comeback of "under God" is about reestablishing America as a faith-based nation that protects religious freedom. Newt believes our rights come from God, not from the government, and that fact keeps us free. Freedom to worship or not worship as we see fit is paramount.

The comeback of "sovereignty" ends the "new world order" embraced by Bush 41. The so-called new world order allowed other countries to take advantage of the United States. Clinton, Bush 43 & Obama failed to defend American interests. There have been endless wars with Islamic extremists. Trade deficits have built up and as a result, President Donald Trump has touted an America First policy. "Make America Great Again" is his slogan. Drain the swamp called Washington, D.C. President Trump promised every decision ha made would benefit American workers and American families. He vowed that America would win again. It took Trump only 3 days to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. He withdrew from the Paris Agreement, based on climate change, knowing it would destroy the coal industry. He also recognized that the North American Trade Agreement (NAFTA) benefited Mexico more than it did the United States. President Trump went on to decertify Obama's "Iran deal." Rather than keeping Iran from building nuclear weapons, it it has allowed them to do do. Trump promptly moved Israel's U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and declared it the capital. He plans to reduce funding to the United Nations. Finally, he is standing up to China for its unfair trade practices.

The comeback of "free speech" is a rejection of what Donald Trump labeled political correctness. Trump says what he thinks and what a lot of others think but are afraid to speak. He uses twitter as a means of communicating directly with his 50 million followers. He blasts the mainstream media for its fake news and insists that "sanctuary cities" must cooperate with federal law enforcement. President Trump has been blunt about Islamic terrorism while his predecessors sidestepped the issue. Trump has insisted on the facts regardless of whom they might offend. Newt compares him to Andrew Jackson.

The comeback of the "American economy" involves cutting red tape. Regulations are expensive and tend to overreach. Deregulation gives the economy a boost. Environmental regulations are hard to dismantle, but the Trump administration is making progress. These rules target the energy sector. The tax cuts of 2017 have allowed the economy to boom. There are more jobs and higher wages.

The comeback of the "constitutional judiciary" has had its greatest triumph in President Trump's appointment of conservative Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. There were over 100 judicial vacancies when Trump took office. By 2018, the Senate had confirmed 23 federal judges, and these appointments are for life. Trump appoints only judges who will uphold the Constitution. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee commented that this is a president who understands a judge's role is not to create or change laws.

The comeback of American "health care" concerns itself with opioid addiction. Americans are dying from opioid overdoses. Drugs have been a social problem since the mid-1960s. The hated Obamacare is being dismantled piece by piece.

Newt Gingrich sees Donald Trump as achieving more in his first year-and-a-half than all the presidents since Ronald Reagan combined. I voted for Reagan but felt he left me behind after the summer of 1982. Newt says there is no room for compromise. Trump's America must win. I am with Trump!

I found the book very interesting. When you watch the news you get one sided opinions. I have been becoming more conservative in my opinions the last few years. I liked the overall message even though parts were repetitive. Sometimes the truth hurts and we want the truth. I feel like Newt understands that we all have waited long enough for the truth. There is an overall theory that I agree with.

As much as a certain segment hates this president, this book gives a great sense of who he is and how he works. I believe Trump is the answer to many Americans' desire to be better than their parents. It's apparent that he's also a pragmatist. Just get things done, seems to be his mode of operation.
Will it work? I'm more optimistic now than before this book.

Newt Gingrich hit it out of political park when explaining why the Dems/left are so out of their minds about everything Trump. I loved the way the author took me from before the election up to Trump being sworn in and then all hell seems to break loose in a lot of ways from quiet rooms in schools. As a follower of the truth it was spelled out in great detail. If all those getting all worked up to a tizzy, remember there are those that had to watch our Nation attacked it is a pleasure to see America become great again.

Informative about where we have come from historically, includes review the changes in world order, and the resulting positive and negative impact.
Explores President Trump's unique strategy and the effective results. Gives insight from where the speach propeling fear is coming from. Excellent book for those who are willing to explore opposing views and difficult solutions. Talking points without a solution ends up doing nothing for us as a country and as an individual. Great book for open minded people.

I have always thought Newt Gingrich should have been president way back when he ran so I was interested to read what he had to say regarding Trump. I think this book was well written, and gave great insight into our President and what he hopes to accomplish and why. A great read for anyone who finds himself doubting Trump.
