I bought this book because it was recommended to me by a friend. My husband likes to talk dirty to me but I never know what to say. This book not only offered so many wonderful things to say but it explained a lot of the phrases too. It lists the sayings based on the best times to use them such as during foreplay or during orgasm.
Reading this book gave me many new ideas and lots of new things I can say to turn on my husband. It's not just for women there are lots of great things for men too. I highly recommend sharing it with your partner. This is a book I will refer to many many times.

Quite simplistic and probably readily available in other format over the internet, but nice to have it all in one spot. Girlfriend indicates willingness to read it so all is good. Was expecting a more indepth discussion of this subject, but the title does say "Examples."

A few good points and suggestions, but for the most part, anyone with any experience at all will really not read anything new. I get her point; and again, a handful of ideas are good but no more than three or four.

This book attempts to explain the importance of talking dirty with your partner, and how you shouldn’t be ashamed of it.

There are reasons mentioned why you should try talking sexy to your partner, as well as ideas on how to start incorporating it into your routine.

The most helpful part of the book are the lines that are given as examples you can use, which number over 100, are pretty easy to utilize, cover a wide range of topics and situations, and come with extra pointers.

I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a little help spicing up their life in the bedroom, and doesn’t know where to start.

Some people might see this book and think 'who needs a book for something so simple?' but the fact is some people just aren't good at talking dirty.This book is perfect for those that are not good at talking dirty because it starts by explaining why this taboo subject is not as "dirty" as people think and explains why talking dirty is good for setting the mood and spicing things up. It also provides 131 dirty talk phrases so you don't have to worry about saying something awkward if you don't know what to say. Even if you're not new to dirty talk the 131 examples can give you some new ideas so that you're not constantly using the same lines.

There are several books out there that cover this topic better-The Good Girl's Guide to Bad Girl Sex (Keesling) for example. This one's okay if you've never been exposed to this type of thing before, and you are totally clueless about what would fire him up (beyond the "Sally eats salad routine" of course-When Harry met Sally.) I think this one's a bit overpriced for the amount of inspiration it gave me. I'm glad I got it used. Ms E

I gave this three stars because I feel that there could have been much more substance. since I am paying for someone to give me insight and they are enough of a subject matter expert to write a book I should have learned something other than the most commonly used phrases. I just thought that they would have been original ideas.

Both my partner & I love this book. Great refresher and helps to put sparks back in our bedroom. Of course this is not some literature that's going to win Nobel Prize, but on the subject of dirty talks, it does the job well. Definitely a good read.

If after reading this book doesn't get you aroused, I don't know what can. Some of the examples in here are surely erotic, but I wouldn't feel comfortable saying half of the stuff found in this book to my wife. I found some of the content offensive, vulgar, and disrespectful. I think there are "clean" ways to arouse your spouse with words that doesn't make them feel "whoreish" and unclean. I don't believe it takes profanity and vulgarity to produce arousal. My advice for the curious: read the examples and modify them to your own style that you believe your spouse would be positively affected by. Dirty talk doesn't have to be "filthy".

I agree with the lower rating comments that this is just basic phrases that you probably already use but the value of this book is in the explanations and simple ideas you can build upon. The book uses the simple terms at the right moment that will make your sex life better when used at a different time.. Phrases like "use me" and " lick me" have their average uses. They also have a use at a time when that are not expected that can really turn on your partner.
