Fool Me Once (First Wives Book 1)

Very good read. Could not put this book down. Skimmed over some of the romantic interlude parts and usually would deduct a star for explicit “love scenes”, however the overall story was good enough I felt it deserved a 5 star rating. Plot twists that you won’t see coming . Masterfully written. Not too many characters to keep up with was an added bonus.

This is a wonderful spin off of Catherine's weekday brides. You not only get to keep up with you beloved characters from the Weekday Bride series, you get to know more beloved characters and adventures. If you didn't get the opportunity to read the Weekday Brides series (I would try first chance you get, will be well worth it) this book will send you on a wonderful journey of love, drama,and mystery. Lori is a very strong character in the book that will keep you on your toes and wondering what will happen next. It was one of those books I couldn't put down and hated for it to end. What keeps me going is I see it says "Book 1" so I can't wait for "Book 2"
Thank you Catherine for this wonderful spin off. You keep surprising me with such realistic characters and refreshing story lines.

Rated this book a 5. Suspense... Mystery....romance... Sex... Who could ask for more? Love the fact that past characters continue on in the story for this series. Can't wait for the next one. Love you Catherine!

I absolutely love how the characters are all portrayed. I was invested in all of them & enjoyed what glimpses I got into their friendship as a whole & their individual stories. Looking forward to read the next book & the next & the next..
