Kylle Achilles is one of my absolute favorite heroes and Tim Tigner truly is one of my favorite Thriller Authors. I have read each of these novels individually and rated them excellent. Now is your chance to get them in a 3 book set for basically the price of one of them. You won't be sorry. I compare Kyle Achilles to Jack Reacher, Jason Bourne, Dan Roy and all of the other great thriller characters, with Achilles usually at the top.

For excitement read this one! Great plots, great characters, great development of action. No down playing of abilities whether male or female. Only twice did I guess the next twist that was in store.
Tim Tigner`s background achieve ments added much believability to the stories.

This box set has it all. Great plot and characters. Thrilling with twists and turns you don't see coming. I had to keep reading each book almost non-stop because I was so intrigued with the plot and characters. I could not guess the ending in any if the books. I certainly hope Achilles returns in a new thriller soon.

NOTE: While we didn't purchase the Series Box Set 1, we did purchase the three books separately.
What can I say? These 3 books keep your attention. Tim brings believable characters to life.
Pushing Brillance is a story about how the Russian president wants to take over the world using a drug called Brillyanc. After he is framed for his family’s murder, Achilles sets out to solve the murder and provide justice for them. In doing this, he uncovers the world domination plot using Brillyanc.
The Lies of Spies was my favorite as some of it take place within 30 miles of where I live. It is an East meets West meets Achilles story. The Russian president in Pushing Brillance is one of the main characters. Chinese and Russian spies are all part of Achilles ultimate plan to kill him, clear his name of wrongdoing, and avenge his family.
Falling Stars. The morale of this story is don’t advertise that you have a lot of money or be famous. If you do you could be targeted by a drone and end up paying a ransom! Achilles reunites with another “retired” CIA agent to go round 2 with Ivan the Ghost, who they tangled with in Chasing Ivan.

This is what can be described as an action thriller series. The book description compares Tim Tigner with Vince Flynn, Lee Child and David Baldacci. However, other than the fact that Kyle Achilles is an action figure like Mitch Rapp and Jack Reacher are, he should not be favorably compared to those authors. Mr. Tigner’s writing ability is not in the same league with Flynn, Child, Baldacci, and in my opinion it never will be. I read the first novel Pushing Brilliance and did not like it at all, so I won’t bother reading the sequels.
Pushing Brilliance is horrible. It is outrageously unrealistic, rambling, convoluted, plot hole ridden and contrived to name a few. Achilles is a, super-duper ability, former CIA Special Forces Member who retains strong ties with his former teammates and still has unlimited access to all the top secret government computers. He was being held for the triple homicide of his family when his CIA buddies sprung him from Jail. He then travels around the world from place to place in search of the real murderers, killing all the bad guys he comes in contact with, or as Achilles likes to call it, dispensing lead therapy. He is recaptured, but is able to negotiate a $10 million bail (from funds he inherited from his father who he is accused of killing); he doesn’t even have to appear for a bail hearing or wear an ankle bracelet. He then takes up with his brother’s fiancée (an uber super model type), who Achilles was accused of murdering, and resumes trekking around the world. No self-respecting comic book editor would ever buy into this absurd plot.
I usually overlook many flaws, especially when reading an otherwise well written book by a new author. In this case it's not well written and there is just too much wrong for it to have any entertainment value whatsoever. A total waste of time. 1/5 stars

I have read all three including the prequel to Falling Stars, Chasing Ivan. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to Tim Tigner's future efforts! Start from the beginning to watch the characters fully form and become people you can root for! The story lines are great and give you the feeling that somehow somewhere the plots could be really happening. Scary and possible!

I highly recommend this series and Author Tim Tigner

I bought each of these books separately, and I loved each and every one. Since you can now buy them as a 3-book series, consider yourself very lucky. Kyle Achilles is not your ordinary hero, where everything goes his way all the time, and danger is constantly overcome on the first try. No, his character is real, with the, as they say, good, bad, and ugly, there for you decide for yourself. I happen to like the man, and am certainly glad he is on our side. It's clear that the author, Tim Tigner, is writing about subjects for which he has great experience and knowledge, but what is even better is that his imagination brings to life scenarios and characters that seem far fetched and impossible, until he makes them possible. I only wish Mr. Tignor had written more books I could add to my collection, and hope that he's working on more now.

Tim Tigner truly knows how to capture his readers attention, as well as, keeping you guessing from the 1st chapter until the very end. These three terrific thrillers will definitely keep you up late at night, because you will be totally unable to put them down until you reach the climatic ending of ALL three novels!

Extremely talented Tim Tigner has created a rarity: a nearly superhuman hero that we normal apes can relate to. Intelligent prose, great pacing and intricate - yet perfectly plausible - set pieces and predicaments with great gadgets and wonderfully fleshed out villians ... aplenty. Highly recommended for lovers of the Big Hero genre.

Clean, good for any age. All three books are possible in every respect, Tim is a great story teller and very up to date with new tech and world relations. You will learn interesting facts as you ride these rollercoasters. Enjoy

Sorry, my headline was corny but the action in these books is not! The super athletic, super spies adventures will keep you up at night! All the great gear, great looking ladies and totally evil villains keep you from noticing the passage of time!

Having worked in gov't Intelligence, I am often disappointed by 'spy thriller' books that get even the basic stuff wrong. Tigner gets it all right. All of it. Beautifully done! Engaging characters, intriguing stories and excellent pacing.
My only question is after three books with K having to deal with Achilles' issues/job/etc - where will it go? I guess I'll have to keep reading :D

Absolutely loved this series; could not put the book down when I made time to read. Hurried through the day so I could return to the book. It helps to read them in order in knowing the primary characters. Book 1 lays the foundation for Books 2 and 3. Wish the author would continue with Kyle Achilles.

Truly clever writing, fast paced and interesting.
Enjoyed all three books, and cant wait for more.
I especially liked how katya came through as an authentic person, not just a cardboard character

Absolutely the best series I ever read. This is not your average hero. Kyle Achilles is completely unique as are all of the characters that appear in each of the books. The story lines will keep you with your head buried in the books and your brain working overtime to try to figure out what comes next. You will be wrong most of the time.

Intrepid heroes, beautiful, dashing heroines, some really, really smart bad guys, and the Russian Mafia to boot — these are the kind of great plot lines that string you along wanting to know what happens next. I look forward to Achilles’ next adventure. I sure hope they include his love Katya, and his kickass partner, Jo.

Really enjoy the suspense that surrounds Achilles. He is not sure at times
who to trust, similar to todays political climate. It is obvious that Tigner has
a lot of experience with military, DC & Russia politics. The characters are
extremely well developed, to the point I expect them to actually be in the
news while reading the books.

I really enjoyed this series, Achilles is a great character and the series is well written. Attention to details and plot and characters made for an enjoyable read. A few moments like "oh no, the cell phone battery is dead" or "I should just shoot him but I want to beat him to a pulp" kept my review in the good but not great area. Glad you ended the series, Achilles deserves to retire enjoy the good life and raise a family.

Three interconnected books of well-written non-stop action. I am a big Tom Clancy fan and Tim Tigner is right up there with the best. I like his complex story line and use of leading-edge technology. I will be looking for more of his work.

Mr. Tigner has the ability to keep you reading and not put the book(s) down. I do suggest that you read the books in order, because of the character building. There is one book suggested before "Falling Stars", because of two added characters, I highly recommend you follow the links as they arrive and get the introductions.

The set is a perfect for anyone who likes action and intrigue. Kyle Achilles is a perfect action character being both tough and vulnerable. The pace of the stories is fast and nonstop. Yes, after three first book you know how the plot and action progresses but it is enjoyable all the same.

Great series, easy to read and all real page turners. I especially enjoyed the character building and relationship that these books have. Never thought love story because of all the action, but in the end you’ll find it has so much more than action. What are you waiting for open the book already.

Pleasantly surprised by how good these stories are. Great characters and storylines, with lots of action. Very engaging. Great choice if you enjoy JD Robb, ...In Death series. Have read all of those currently released and was hungry for more and Tim Tigner most definitely filled the bill.

All four Kyle Achilles books (there is a stand-alone book called "Chasing Ivan") were fantastic and I broke my rule about alternating between authors to binge read them all in a row. I’m hooked and can't wait to read more from Tim Tigner. Achilles is a great blend of an amazing athlete who is super-quick to mentally sort out and act on his best options, and Katya is an equally amazing leading lady who balances Achilles well. The action is compelling and the plots are believable, and the outcomes are satisfying while making me wish for more. I'm hooked!

What a great series! If you like Preston and Child, David Baldacci, and Lee Child you will love Tim Tigner. The characters have great depth and the protagonist Achilles is the perfect guy to root for. He’s good enough to always get the job done but he’s not made out to be invincible like most characters in thrillers like these. Love all of Tim Tigner’s books would highly recommend!

This three book series is one of the most exciting I've read. I strongly recommend it to anyone that loves it when the good guy gets himself into trouble but always is able to figure a way out and achieve his objective.

As an additional note: I think there will be additional Kyle Achilles books to come.

Five stars because, while I'll download a series, about three quarters through the second title i get the feeling that I'm slogging through sticky mud. This series held my interest to the final period! The detail was so intricate that I could picture every like a movie. Loved it!!
