Really loved both Charlotte and Grayson. Charlotte is the girl who flies under the radar because she doesn't care to draw attention, but she's still confident and self-assured, not to mention intelligent and perceptive. Grayson has had his fun throughout college with a future NFL career and being paired up with Charlotte for his tutor is like a good omen for him, although he has one heck of a time trying to convince her to see him as more than a person she meets for tutoring once a week every Tuesday. I adored Grayson's persistence in pursuing Charlotte, and despite his reputation, he was incredibly patient and a total boyfriend package with her. The story and chemistry kept me engaged and entertained, I just wish there had a been a little bit more to the book - it could've easily been longer and I don't just mean at the end, but throughout the whole plot with additional elaboration. I would definitely love to see more of these characters.

I love Whitney’s heroes. They are singular in their actions once they need the girl of their dreams. And Grayson was no different. He is obsessive in a non- creepy way in his attentions to Charlotte. She, on the other hand, seemed too simple and not as engaging. The story still works, and I finished it in one sitting. Just wanted more angst and sizzle.

I really liked this book. I was disappointed because I really wanted to ❤️it. But.... this book left me wanting more. A bit more substance. More of those sexy, smoking hot sex scenes. More time with the H/h after their reunion. If this book , in my opinion, had all this, I truly believe that it would be the best 2nd chance romance ever written. Bar none. I still love you Whitney! I just wanted more with this book. Added to this, I bought this book outright. I have kindle unlimited! This book is now on kindle unlimited. the store won't refund me! I'm very unhappy with the store for that! They really need to refund kindle unlimited customers when this happens. Get with it the store! I don't like paying twice for the same thing!

It's Whitney's style writing, clever-funny, strong. But... Why Charlottes was in her senior year like that? (Like a teenage)Why she is so afraid? Why she can't see when something is in front of her face ? The novel is one coffee long. I loved the H and not so much Ms Charlottes. I'm sorry

I have never been so angry with a writer before. Whitney G. , your villain in this book was nothing compared to you. You set an emotional trap for the reader, and then served up the weakest conclusion I have ever read. You should be ashamed of yourself. I will not be buying any more of your books.

Grayson and Charlotte were a riot.

If you read Whitney's books in the past, you know the sort of unique female characters she is known for and super alpha males she loves to create for us. On a Tuesday features a heroine you will love. Charlotte is smart, capable, knows her worth and doesn't let a pretty face distract her. She fights her attraction to Grayson and lies about her feelings, but no one is buying it....

Grayson is the typical alpha male. he is admired for his talent on the Football field and isn't shy about his abilities (in and out of the field).

I loved his dedication in perusing Charlotte . He was was intense, sweet, sneaky and showed his emotions even while being cocky.

I loved how Charlotte made him work to be worthy of her time.

I was pleasantly surprised with this book. This author is known to write extremely arrogant males who have relationship issues, but not so much with Grayson. Charlotte was a nice surprise as well. I loved how much of a hard time she gave Grayson even though she secretly did like him.

Seven years have past since they seen each other until their 7 year reunion.

The books goes from present to past with alternative POVs.

For something a little different, you can definitely read this book.

I loved the relationship between Charlotte and Grayson. They were great. I just felt the ending was a let down. It felt anticlimatic to me. The events that broke them apart was serious and took just about the entire book to get to why they separated only to resolve everything in just a few short pages.

On a Tuesday was a fusion of romance subgenres. It was part new adult college romance, part second chance contemporary romance. The story began in present day, but then jumped back and forth in time from college to present day to reveal how Charlotte and Grayson met, fell in love, broke up, and then reconnected. On a Tuesday definitely had more of a new adult feel to it since the majority of the story was set in the characters' college years.

To be honest, I had a little bit of a hard time connecting to the characters and their love story. There were a couple of reasons why. First, both characters were a little unlikable. Charlotte was prickly, especially toward Grayson. That prickliness was felt right through the pages. I have to praise Whitney G. for creating a character that made me feel something because I felt Charlotte's dislike for Grayson as if she disliked me. I didn't feel sorry for Grayson because of Charlotte's dislike, though. Grayson was so full of himself that I couldn't really fall in love with his character. His ego was too much for me. The other issue I had with the characters was due to the novella length of this book. It really limited the story. I liked how Charlotte and Grayson's love story was laid out for the reader, but the majority of the story was given to the past. The present felt rushed.

Despite not feeling a deep connection to the characters, there were a lot of good things about On a Tuesday. Whitney's writing was as amazing as ever. I liked how the story was centered around Tuesdays. It was a fun way to read a story. And I did like how the story jumped around in time. I also loved knowing it was based on a song. That was really cool. Overall, it was a really fun book to read -- on a Tuesday.

From the moment I started reading this second chance romance I found myself with a smile on my face. With its fun and flirty banter and charming and patient hero I was captivated by the slow burn relationship between apparent opposites and their tug of war interactions. Experiencing this in audiobook format pulled me even further into this couple’s journey and kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for the misunderstandings of the past to finally be buried.

Grayson Connors was the quintessential star college football player, cocky and popular with the ladies. At least that’s what people saw when they looked at him. In flashbacks though we saw a young man dedicated to his sport and to his studies, growing bored with the rest of the superficiality. While his friend seemed to enjoy all the extracurricular activities, Grayson clearly longed for something more and it’s what drove him to chase after Charlotte as hard as he did. His interactions with Charlotte started off as friends, playful before turning into verbal foreplay, and I hung on every interaction. Grayson charmed me wholeheartedly, his dedication to Charlotte making me smile as he never pushed her for more than she was ready to give. He was self-assured, confident in himself, but never arrogant and I was endeared by his words and deeds. Just when his HEA was within reach though everything fell apart with Charlotte leaving without a trace. Seven years later puts them face to face once again, giving him the chance to learn what went wrong. The years gone by were heartbreaking for him and I was angered by Charlotte’s treatment of him. He’s still the sweet hero he was as a young man though...waiting for Charlotte and proving his devotion to her is unending.

Charlotte Taylor was the studious good girl in college. Dedicated to her studies but slowly trying to break free of her sheltered childhood. She was regimented in many ways, lived on a permanent schedule, but the flashes of feistiness directed at others had me warming up to her very quickly. She wasn’t very outgoing at the start of her college career but being around Grayson had her branching out to live life to the fullest. She mocked him endlessly when they first met in an entertaining war of words, through flirty and witty banter where she gave as good as she got, that quickly became more sensual. Though she felt somewhat intimidated by the groupies and his reputation, she couldn’t keep fighting their connection forever and I literally cheered when they got together. Happiness didn’t last forever though, and for that I blame Charlotte. She let her doubts and fears take control, forgetting how loving and loyal Grayson always was. After seven years, he was still waiting and her continuing to hurt him left me frustrated. Her actions overall diminished her in my eyes and despite how likable she was as a friend, I’m not convinced she’ll ever be fully worthy of Grayson.

This was a fast-paced read told in dual POVs where each side got to share their feelings and fears. Past interactions were beautifully balanced with the here and now to tell a sexy and sweet tale of second chances. Grayson and Charlotte were opposites in many ways but together they just worked courtesy of their crackling connection in and out of the bedroom. Their interactions were teeming with sexual tension, leading to scorching encounters that were seared into my brain. The voice actors, Erin Mallon and Joseph Discher, did a delightful job in bringing their characters to life and I was quickly captivated once their voices emerged from my speakers. Overall there were many reasons to love this story, from the sizzling romance to the laugh out loud friendships. The biggest disappointment though was the reason why Charlotte ran away all those years ago. The reason isn’t revealed until late in the story and the reveal just left me sad, sad for all the years wasted. It was a Big Misunderstanding perpetuated by Charlotte’s doubts and it forever altered my impressions of her. Thank heavens for Grayson though who was the bright spot in this story and still shows up nightly in my dreams. He’s the quintessential book boyfriend! Other highlights were Charlotte’s friend, Nadira, who often spoke without a filter and pushed her friend into breaking out of her self-induced bubble. Grayson’s friend Kyle was an unrepentant horndog, overly cocky too, but I still found him endearing and quick to make me laugh. This pair were larger than life, leaving an indelible mark in every scene they were in, and I’d love to see more of them in the future. On a whole this was a romance that sparkled as an audiobook, putting a modern yet naughty spin on the proverbial bedtime story, and I recommend the hard-fought HEA found in this book to all lovers of romance.

On a Tuesday was a witty and sometimes awkward and heartbreaking story written by Whitney G. and narrated by Erin Mallon and Joseph Discher. Don't let that description fool you though because it was a great listen.

Story: 4.5 stars
Grayson is a professional football player. One invitation to his seven-year reunion has him reliving the past, and seeing his ex, makes him wanting to learn the truth...maybe even wanting something in the future? However, Charlotte has her own reasons for hating Grayson. Not only that, but he is the last person she wants to see. Will they get on the same page?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The banter between the two main characters kept me entertained and I didn't want to stop listening to the book. On top of that, the flashbacks gave us insight into the characters and what made them tick. I think there were a couple of times when it seemed a little much, but those were few and far between. The story flowed, the characters were likable, and the I found myself laughing several times. On the flip side, I also cringed more than once, but it wasn't because of the writing, it was the pain the characters were going through.

Narration: 4 stars
There are actually two narrators for this book, so I will review each one individually.

Erin Mallon: Erin brought her characters to life and was able to change her voice for each individual character. A couple of passages were monotoned, but she recovered quickly and was back in character quickly.

Joseph Discher: I had a few more issues with Joseph than I did with Erin, however, there were also times I thought he did better with the characters than Erin did. Each character had their own voice and their own personality.

Overall, I enjoyed this narration and I will definitely be giving this book another listen. The characters and the story flowed through the speakers and part of the reason I loved listening so much, was because Erin and Joseph brought their own twist to everyone in this story.

Overall: 4.5 stars
Wonderful story, great narration, and something if you wanted, you can listen to in one sitting. The audiobook is only about five hours long. I highly recommend this audiobook to everyone and suggest that you one click this book today. 4.5 stars!

We have two people who could not be more polar opposites than Charlotte Taylor and Grayson Connors. They first meet their senior year in college. One is an academic and one a jock. It's hard to think that these two could in any way become friends let alone romantically involved. But our author shows that anything is possible and how tough it can be.

Ms. G has me thinking that now preseason has started for professional football that I might have to relisten to her book while a game plays in the background. But college football is also gearing up so that's another option. Charlotte is an artist but I don't think that an art gallery will let me sit and reconnect with her. Maybe I'll have to go to a museum instead. I found it interesting on the author's choice of centering her story on one particular day of the week. It has me wondering what the rest of the series will be about. And will any of the secondary characters make appearances.

Ms. Mallon and Mr. Discher did a great job in letting me get to know our main characters. Sometimes I can get lost going from past to present but our narrators got me to really listen to what they were saying. They also make it easier to picture the banter Charlotte and Grayson had during their time in college. This is one good thing about listening to a book as opposed to reading it. They are totally different experiences and when you want to revisit a story the audio version makes it easier. Some people change the speed of a story and I wouldn't do that because it gives me an excuse to just relax and listen to the story being told to me.

I voluntarily reviewed an Audiobook copy of this book.

NA College romance then and now . . .

Overall 5 out of 5 stars
Performance 5 out of 5 stars
Story 5 out of 5 stars

On a Tuesday has most certainly won itself a fan. It was sweet, fun, beautiful, charming, real, and hits of sorrow, pain, sadness. It may not have held the intensity of constant sex, but it certainly held romance and charm. Charlotte Taylor was the all American sexy, sweetheart. She was the friend you wanted and the woman you wanted to get to know. Grayson was the all American star football player, with looks, charm, and smarts. He was not your typical ball player. He was intelligent, respectful, resourceful, and knew his own heart. I very much loved getting to see their story then and now. As for the bad guy, there was not enough payback there to make up for all the damage. Oh and it was clear upon meeting things would not be right.

Charlotte and Grayson got there first and second chance in one story of then and now. Then he was the rave of campus. Then he was under false accusations. Then he was the star football player. Then he was the guy. Then she was the one that he wanted over any other. Then she was just the girl tease. Then she was the one person the could stop it all from being. Seven years later. She was still the one. She was the one that could change it all. He was the one that could make her open up. What they needed was time.

Narrator duo combo was fantastic. I loved Erin and Joseph. The duo did a job that allowed you to fall in love with then and now. The transitions were flawless. The audio quality was there clear and clean of skips or hiccups. I loved the emotional quality of both Erin and Joseph's take on the characters. Their voice pitching, diction, and cadence felt perfect for the characters they were portraying.

On a Tuesday is a lovely second chance romance! I love Whitney G.’s writing and this book was another pleasant read from this talented author! Switching between present and past, I enjoyed discovering about Charlotte and Grayson’s relationship!

Grayson is a sexy NFL superstar quarterback. He has a seven-year reunion at the University of Pittsburgh and he’s hell set on reconnecting with his ex-girlfriend Charlottle and get the answers about their abrupt ending seven years earlier.

I enjoyed the flashbacks so much! Charlotte Taylor is such a dedicated student and doesn’t have time for guys. Not even super popular football player Grayson Connors. When she’s obligated to be his tutor, she realizes he’s truly interesting and genuinely nice. They’re really sweet together and slowly built a beautiful relationship. Their chemistry is so incredible it offers some really steamy scenes!

The narrators of the audiobook did a fantastic job precisely delivering the emotions of the characters. They personified the hero and heroine in a spotless way. Through sweetness, passion, heartache and anger I was completely immersed in their telling of the story!

On a Tuesday is definitely a very enjoyable novel. I felt the whole reason about the breakup was a little weak when revealed, but it didn’t diminish the delight I got listening to this fantastic story! This college romance certainly gave me a very good moment.

Audible: Narrators – Erin Mallon and Joseph Discher

OMG!!! These narrators did an excellent job of bringing this story and these characters to life! I loved the fluctuations they used, each with their own little quirk to it for the secondary characters that added depth as well as personality to the whole story. I did not need any time at all to adjust my ear or a need to reset the speed. Everything about this audiobook was perfection!

Although many would consider this a second chance romance or an enemies to lovers, I find that it doesn’t easily fit into any stereotypical trope. It is kind of spread over several and each time I thought I could fit it into a slot it would surprise me by changing direction and taking me a different way. And I totally was along for the ride!

Charlotte is assigned to tutor Grayson, the college’s big football star. She’s seen and heard enough about him to know not to fall for his flirty ways and relentless demands. However, she finds herself weakening as each Tuesday their tutoring sessions become less about assignments and more about talking.

Grayson has just come off of a nightmarish summer. When he meets Charlotte he is instantly attracted to her. However, instead of reacting as most of the girls on campus, she shuts him down. Soon the chase is on and he’s determined to make her his own.

I enjoyed this story so much! Charlotte was so smart and independent from the “in” group. Grayson appeared a bit on the skanky side but I absolutely loved his reversal once he met Charlotte. I was anxious to get to the cause of their separation and I have to admit I was all over the place when trying to determine what happened.

This was a great read (listen), fast paced and with plenty of steam. The secondary characters were the perfect frame for this couple without taking over. I loved everything about this book!

On A Tuesday is an exquisitely heart-wrenching journey that will captivate your senses and make every nerve in your body raw until you cannot feel anything except its all-consuming fire. This story will latch onto your heart and never let go. A sweet first love adventure that walks through fire and pain to see the light of a new day. The heat that simmers throughout will burn its mark onto your own heart, and you will never forget the precious love and hope that stands unbroken and unwavering. This wildly explosive masterpiece screams at you to never tame it, but instead to savor it every day of your life.

The incredible characters will open your heart with their tentative friendship and blast the doors off its hinges with their unquenchable passion and fierce love. They will crawl through these pages and touch a part of you that never knew existed. This is a true heart-changing story. Nothing can stand in the wake of its gentle power and wicked hope. You do not stand a chance to walk away unscathed.

Whitney G has written some of my all-time favorite stories that both shred and remake my heart every time I read them. I find myself crying in agony, gasping in shock, and reaching for more every step of the way. She is a true master who dominates the romance genre, and she always will. Her heart and stories shake me to my very core and challenge me no matter where I am in life. This story is a perfect example of the driving force that she is, and I look forward to what she creates in the future with undisguised excitement!

The fantastic narrators brought life and beauty to this already perfect work of art. I couldn’t believe how utterly impressive and absolutely astounding their performance is!! I had a hard time dragging myself away from this audiobook. It hooked me from the very start, and was on my mind until I could get back to it. I can’t get enough of this extraordinary performance! Thank you a million times over!!

Charlotte is a dedicated student who has just found out that she is six credits short to graduate and the only way to earn them in time is to become a peer tutor. The only thing is she never expected her student to be the biggest player on and off the football field Grayson.

Grayson is the star quarterback who can have any girl he wants however when he meets his peer tutor Charlotte she is less than impressed by him. He is determined to win the girl, but she is not about to be won over by his fame or good looks especially when she won’t even give him her phone number.

This story is told in a series of flashbacks seven years after their relationship ended and it leaves you wondering what could have possibly happened to drive a wedge between two people who are so committed to each other. There was an intense connection and chemistry between them and they both made mistakes but as their story unfolds you can’t help hoping that they will get their second chance.

I thought the narrators did a great job of bringing the story to life. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the author.

Narrator Review:
Awesome performance by Erin Mallon and Joseph Discher. I've listened to Erin before and continually enjoy her as a narrator. Joseph is new to me and another one to add to my list of favorite male narrators. I loved his voice. I highly recommend the audio version of this book.

Story Review:
Charlotte and Grayson meet in college. He's the superstar footballer destined for the NFL and she's the studious, book nerd prepping for law school. She hates everything about him and he's completely smitten.

This is a second chance, sports romance that has the story flipping from then, 7 years ago to present. We get to see them meet, watch as he pursues Charlotte relentlessly until she caves, and all the way up until something causes Charlotte to disappear from Grayson's life. We also get pieces of them meeting up again after 7 years and the struggle to find out the truth to what really happened to cause their separation.

I'm a huge fan of the Hero chasing the heroine and love how persistent Grayson was to break down Charlotte's walls. She stereotyped Grayson from the start but it didnt' help that he has a very healthy ego making it hard for her to see he is more than an egotistical football player. He was super sweet and only had eyes for her.

It was hard to wait to find out what really caused them to separate. It doesn't get revealed until close to the end. This was a fun read up until that point and then I was just very sad for both of them. I am very happy with how the author ended this though. I must mention Kyle, Grayson's best friend. He was a total pig but had me laughing through most of the book. I'm glad I picked this up!

A second chance love story that gave me a fabulous first opportunity to sample what Whitney G has to offer.
I liked that the story was brought to life using dual points of view, it always plays well for me when I get hear both voices telling me how and what they are feeling.
The high school reunion gave them the opportunity to see where they had both landed after 7 years apart and as the history was filled in, it didn’t take long for a river of misunderstanding to become blatantly obvious. They gave up on what they had all those years ago, a little too easily from what I could decipher, especially Charlotte in my book but that didn’t mean that they couldn’t have a second bite at the cherry.
I thought the story could have spent a little more time on them, and whilst that may sound odd, I just think that I missed a connection with who they were both as individuals and as a couple.
There was a twist in the story that I didn’t anticipate and that certainly added to my enjoyment, I thought he story was engaging but would have liked a little more depth.

I loved this breathtaking second chance romance! First it is by Whitney G.! I love her writing and this is no exception. This slow burn romance has the star college quarterback falling for his tutor who rejects all his requests for more. Charlotte loves football but refuses to fall at this sexy, cocky ballers feet. But Grayson is more than meets the eye. He falls for Charlotte and is so patient and determined to prove to her that she makes him want to be a better man. When she finally gives in to his charms, he is so thoughtful and swoony. But as the draft nears, a misunderstanding will separate them with broken hearts. Now seven years later they meet again and their sacred Tuesday dates start all over again. I loved how this story unfolded thru flashback sequence keeping you totally engaged, trying to figure out where their relationship went wrong.
Erin Mallon and Joseph Discher were amazing. Erin Mallon's delivery is perfect and I love her male voices. This is my first listen to Discher and I am a new fan. He easily moved from male to female characters and made swoony Grayson so real to me.
This sweet & sexy romance took my breath away. I only wish it was longer but I totally loved it from start to finish!

ARC kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I know what I will get every time I read anything by Whitney G.: a sexy cocky hero, a strong heroine, some drama and LOTS of heat. I’ve been waiting for this novel for a while because, even though I love me some short stories (like her latest releases), I always love more enjoying a long read. And Whitney just delivered another good one!

On a Tuesday seems will be the first installment in a new series called One Week which will be based on some of Adele’s songs. This one is a second-chance romance between two people who fell in love in college but separated suddenly and now, seven years later, they reunite. And Grayson, our hero, will not stop until he finds out what really happened between him and Charlotte (and until he gets her back).

“I think Tuesdays are going to be my new favorite day of the week.”

Second chances is one of my favorite themes in romance writing and Whitney is also one of my favorite authors so.. of course, those two things together worked perfectly. How adorable is that Grayson and Charlotte started their love story on a Tuesday and after that all Tuesdays became special to them! Well, they also reunite on a Tuesday and everything feels the same for both of them: they still love each other passionately.

“We both know I’m not going to stop pursuing you, so even if I leave today, I’ll be right back here tomorrow.”

I love stories that mix past and present and On a Tuesday was no exception. The glances to the past were hilarious, heartbreaking and also oh-so-sexy! These two definitely do not lack on the chemistry. However, I do have to say I would have loved to see more of their story in the present. I felt like the end was a bit rushed but still it was so beautiful to see them so happy!

“We’ve lost seven years of each other,” he said, looking right into my eyes. “Is it too late for a second chance?”

Therefore, my rating for On a Tuesday is 4 STARS because it looks like a great beginning to Whitney’s new series. I love second chance romances and to see this couple falling in love all over again was so up my alley! I can’t wait to see what is next because I am surely reading it. Definitely recommend this novel, especially if you are a Whitney fan like me!

SWEET. HEART-WARMING. SEXY. EMOTIONAL

On a Tuesday had everything that makes a good book entertaining and captivating. It was  the first book in a series of short and quick standalone novels, inspired by Adele songs. A second chance novel inspired by "When We Were Young".

This novel had everything I liked. Tutor/jock trope. New adult/college. Whitney G. This combination was hard to beat. On top of that, it had a clever plot, and a cocky jock that had a heart of gold.

I love the author's writing style, but especially when she includes correspondence in her books, which she did.:D Her emails made me crack up. She has a real talent for the snappy, witty comebacks, and a way with words.

Grayson was one fantastic book boyfriend. Truly awesome!!! He met Charlotte and was immediately drawn to her and fascinated by her cool demeanor. It helped that she was forced to spent time with him during their study hours, otherwise Grayson might have talked to a wall. But with time, he slowly cracked her stern outer shell.

Charlotte was weary, and that barely describes her attitude towards him. She had Grayson pecked from the very beginning and there was NO way she would be another notch on his bedpost. So, she gave him the cold shoulder, unfortunately she was far from prepared for a guy like Grayson Connors. He was as persisted as he was cocky. And Charlotte really intrigued him.

I loved this college love story. Charlotte and Grayson matched very well, with palpable and genuine feelings between them.

On a Tuesday was a solid performance by Whitney G. Sweet and light hearted, it was the perfect read to relax after work. And I can't wait to read book 2 in this series, I wonder if it will feature Kyle, Grayson's best friend.

OMG! I have to say this is one of Whit's best books to date (I read this in under 24 hours as I couldn't put it down). This two characters lit up he pages with fire and intensity from the very beginning. I absolutely loved Grayson and Charlotte, and the fact that both of their characters developed separately as well as together was perfect.
*If you haven't read the book please discontinue reading as spoilers are below*
The fact that Charlotte and Grayson had the same academic advisor was quite hilarious. You see how Charlotte despises him as Grayson loves him but he did good pairing them together. I found it hilarious that she waited so long just to give him her phone number and he never relented. Getting her to agree to the relationship was a feat in itself. However, I absolutely abhor Anna. For some reason at the very beginning she didn't sit well with me and after reading the entire book, I realized why. She is the worse person by hiding Charlotte's pregnancy from Grayson. She assumed she knew the type of relationship they had and how Charlotte was such a "gold-digger" without having any real proof. Charlotte had to deal with the fact she thought Grayson never cared she was pregnant and just left her to deal with it alone while Grayson figured she ghosted him and left high and dry. Not to mention Anna used the money Grayson repeatedly gave her for her daughters college fund.
All in all I'm happy that the truth finally came out and they were able to repair and make up for the seven years they lost. I really hope beyond hope that Whit will write a sequel to their story (please, Whit, pleaseeeee!) I really loved this book.

I generally devour Whitney's books and this was no exception. Charlotte Taylor & Grayson Connors are an unlikely pair on the surface. Both need credits to graduate and end up paired with each other as tutor (Charlotte) and tutee (Grayson). Grayson happens to be the starting quarterback having won 3 consecutive championships. While this may sound like a typical scenario in the romance world, it is anything but. He is no dumb jock but put off certain classes that he now he now has to triple up on. Grayson does his best to charm Charlotte, but she is all business and refuses to even provide her phone number. Their meeting dates are on Tuesdays and the progression into friendship (and then more) is entertaining. This story alternates POV's as well as time - present day and 7 years previous when they actually meet. Their early exchanges are charming and entertaining . Their reunion was heart wrenching. The reasoning behind their losing touch was shocking.
The story progression was done so well. I was so invested in the characters. The way the information was delivered kept the pages turning quickly. I laughed, nearly cried, was surprised several times and became angry on the characters' behalf. As a reader, can you really as for more? There were a couple things that I would have liked to seen elaborated on because I felt like the discussion and/or situation warranted more for closure for me.
I received and an advance copy of this release and am providing an honest and unbiased review. I would highly recommend this read.
