I give copies of this book to college graduates. Easy to read in short segments with 99 chapters. Each one can be read in less than five minutes. Good way to get young adults beginning their careers to stop and think strategically about the future.

Sound financial practices are mostly at least a matter of common sense. This book is full of that common sense and reminders of how to take care of your financial self. I gave copies of the book to each of my four adult children. Very easy to read and full of good advice.

This book about personal finance is written for high schoolers and college youth. It is a most useful book for helping kids understand their finance responsibilities in life. It touches on just about every aspect of life from credit cards and checking accounts to making decisions about marriage, having children, establishing values. The most common sense read I have seen. Yes, I wish I'd had this when I was raising my kids. I've purchased 5 or 6 of them for grandchildren and there are more coming along. Worth every penny!

This is really an excellent book for the Young Adult or the older adult who hasn't quite learned it from life experience yet. I bought this book almost a year ago for my daughter who was turning 18 based on the content and reviews. I was so impressed with the book when it arrived, and I perused it myself....wishing I had been taught this myself in the long ago....that I just bought another for my son, who is also about to turn 18.
I think this book is a perfect choice as a gift! It offers good and sound advice in regards to financial decisions....and who doesn't need that?
