Beauty in Winter

I was graciously provided an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Fast, great story. It had the feel of a fairytale with dark undertones and a happy ending, but some smoking sex added. This is actually the first in the Beauty series that I had read, but this was so good, I am going to check out the rest.

If you like a quick and smutty shifter Alexa Riley take on Beauty and the Beast then make sure to read this one. Fiona and Reid had instant attraction due to them being mates. I loved everything about (just wish their story was longer) and it was hot!

This book does have hot sex, but its mostly about a hurt friend, a man who is damaged and romance and of course the shifter life and hot sex. It was a great story that made you keep reading to find out what was happening next. You won't regret reading this book.

This was a deliciously well thought out twist on an old classic. I loved this addition to the collection and I'm excited to see if perhaps they continue to release this type of set with each of the new live actions of the Disney movies.

Like all Alexa Riley books, I loved this one. However I wish it was longer or had a little more character development. I read it in about 30 minutes. Still cute and a good end to the Beauty in Seasons series.

Once again Alexa Riley has blown me away with their incredible ability to write an amazing short story that has you squirming in your seat from the very beginning of the book. This books is AMAZING definitely a most read.

An amazing remake of Beauty and the Beast. This is the story that has you thrown into the mating in the most hot, filthy, dirty ways and for days. The best thing about the story, besides the sex, is that Fiona heals Reid from a broken cursed man to being a whole man/beast. Of course, the sweet side is that it is a quick fix read and of course the HEA and 2 epilogues.

This read was Alexa Riley at their best. A short, smutty, steamy and OTT read, featuring an innocent heroine and a growly, sexy Alpha.

I read this easy story in one sitting and enjoyed this retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The story centers around Fiona, a down on her luck heroine, and Reid, the 'beast', or this story, a reclusive, Alpha wolf shifter who is unable to shift into his wolf form.... until he meets Fiona.

The story is predictable but sweet, and it's a very naughty read that has an epilogue which left me with a smile. I would say this read would be perfect for someone looking for a quick, naughty take on a classic fairytale.

WOW!!!! Alexa Riley has done it again, this is the 1st book I have read of hers that is a shifter one and I will say I don't normally read them, but I love this author. And she did not disappoint.

Fiona Lamb has just lost the last of her family, all she wants is to meet with the finance guy and move on. She wants one thing her grams ring, however it's been sold. In order for her to get it back she must go help out at Mr. Gold's house. What she doesn't know is his secret.

Reid Gold is alpha should of been always, but something change and when Fiona walks through his door all bets are off. This is a fast pas read that you will fall in love with.

I really enjoyed this quick read by Alexa Riley. Fiona has just lost her grandmother and comes to find out that the Rose Ring that she loved was gone. In order to try to recover it she has to work for the very private Reid Gold. Once the two meet....sparks fly and he is able to break a very old curse keeping him from shifting to his wolf. He vows to never let her go...she's scared but realizes that she too feels the same.

I really enjoyed this series. I can't wait to see what they come out with next well done!!!

I love these short stories. Right to the point great for a quick read before work, or bed whenever suits to sneak in a quick read. The lawyer was a tad weird but that helps makes the story. Once again not disappointed by Alexa Riley.

If you are looking for a sweet instant live story to read before bed, lunch break or work commute this is the book. It is fast pace and to the point. This is the first book in the Beauty series that tempted me enough to read it and I'm glad I did. Alexa Riley still my favorite author for instant love stories.
