Review:Sin duda García Márquez en este libro y en muchos se destaca como los ilustres escritores de la lengua española. En particular el amor en los tiempos del cólera es una ficción de gran humanidad en donde el amor en todas sus formas es magistralmente escrito Read more
Review:I don't know if I got a sample or if this is how the book was written. It's like a 1/2 finished diary. Very hard to read and keep up. Paragraphs end randomly. I've never given a book one star but if I could of I would have given it zero. Read more

Review:Five stars for being a good chicklit story that doesn’t touch on themes that usually grate my nerves. Instead we are introduced to likable characters and realistic situations, with a strong (though not invincible) female lead.

Review:Many books have been written to continue the stories of the characters that Jane Austen created, including sequels, prequels, continuations, and diaries. Most of these books have been written about the most popular of her novels, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, while ignoring some of her other different, but equally well-written and beautiful novels–SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, NORTHANGER ABBEY, EMMA, MANSFIELD PARK, and PERSUASION. Now for the first time, all six of Jane Austen’s books have been re-imagined and... Read more
Review:The blatant sexism and calling the main character a whore because she was doing her job kinda pissed me off. I know this was set in the 60's but it was just really offensive in a way that her writing has never been. It was hard to read. Read more
Review:I am new to Imogen Rose but got the book for $0.99 so I thought I would give it a try. I am so glad I did:) This book was fast paced which is what I need to keep me interested! I just loved it and started on book 2 as soon as I finished Portal! I would recommend this book to any reader YA and Adult alike. I am hoping book 3 will have a price drop so I can get it too:) I think there is a planned book 4 that may be in the works. I will then move on to her other series as well. Great author... Read more
Review:Bottom line: It was good. I recommend it. I think if you enjoy Harry Potter and a good young adult story, you won't be disappointed.
Observations: I was surprised at how well I kept track of the changing narrators. First person, multiple narrators always confuses me, but much less so with this novel than others I've read. Goes to show how well Rowell differentiates her characters' internal voices. And first person truly suited this novel. I loved her use of parentheses, (Especially the myriad... Read more
