Romance
Review:Enjoyable Classic Robyn Carr. Easy to follow stand-alone. Some violence, no drag-you-down drama.
Entertaining storyline of small town living pulling together for the greater good of all.
Believable characters with distinct personalities. Thought-provoking and humorous dialogue.
I will re-read this book and always look forward to works by this author. Read more
Review:I have been hooked on this series since the first book. I love that Brie is a part of the book and we are introduced new characters in the "neighborhood" and get to have some of the characters come into the scene. I lvoe that Walt from Summer in Sonama was introduced in this book. Cant wait to see if he is going to be in any of the upcoming books. Looking forward to the new book in Feb Read more

Review:I thought the Abby Character was a whiner. Never happy until someone pointed it out to her. Cameron was a great guy, but she fought him, cause of her past experience/husband. It did work out, but I didn't think there was any depth to her character. I loved the Virgin River Series!!! It told about good people, struggles, pulling together and of course, happy endings!!!! These are Go to books for an easy read and happy ending. Read more

Review:Sally is despondent. An elementary school teacher and all-around community helper and planner, she's making plans.
Her father left her a small inheritance and she's having renovations done at her house, but also thinking about renovations to herself. All of her friends are getting married and having babies, some are even on the second or third child. Not Sally, so with her biological clock ticking louder every day she looks into in-vitro.
Meanwhile, a casual conversation at the local diner... Read more
Review:I loved this book, the author does a wonderful job of quickly drawing the reader into the world of the Keepers/Reapers without loosing focus or turning the romance into a farce as it blooms. Yes, the romance is there- but it doesn't completely overtake the plot. The reactions of the characters mingled love/hate relationship ring true even as you secretly root for them to be together. I will definitely be reading the next book. Read more
Review:THE RESTORER by Amanda Stevens.
This is told in first person. It reminded me of the TV show Murder She Wrote with Angela Lansbury - but a younger heroine. Amelia is 27. Her job is researching and restoring cemeteries. Bodies are found by the police in a cemetery she is restoring. So the detective asks her advice about things in the cemetery. She also gives him copies of the photographs she took. She is curious and asks questions of other people. There are mysteries about multiple ... Read more
Review:I thought this would be a nice creepy ghost story. While it was a ghost story, it lacked suspense. The plot was predictable, and the characters were flat. On the plus side, it was free, so at least I didn't waste any money. Read more
