A Civil Campaign (Vorkosigan Saga)
A Civil Campaign (Vorkosigan Saga)

Review:Before I get actually started, has anyone else noticed Bujold's penchant for using the word "saturnine" multiple times in pretty much every book she's written? It's such an unusual word that it caught my attention and it seems that at least one character per novel gets that word tacked on as a description. I feel on some level it's a subtle running joke but maybe she just really likes it. And if you never noticed, now you'll probably be unable NOT to, or you'll go back and count. She's proba... Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen (Vorkosigan Saga)

Review:I LOVE Lois McMaster Bujold's books. The characters were great but the action and twists I normally enjoy in her books is somewhat lacking in this one. I'll still read the next one and the next one. Read more

The Red Ledger: 1
The Red Ledger: 1

Review:I have to say, The Red Ledger just might be my favorite Meredith Wild series yet. And we only have the first book.

Wild has packed a little of everything in to the first of this promising new series, trills, mystery, suspense, and a hint of romance. A romance that actually sets the stage for the series. Not much is known about Tristan, by us or for himself, for that matter. He's very Jason Bourne-esque with a Wild twist. To Isabel, he is the one that got away. The one that would forever... A Stephanie Plum Between the Numbers Novel (A Between the Numbers Novel Book 4)
A Stephanie Plum Between the Numbers Novel (A Between the Numbers Novel Book 4)

Review:With Janet Evanovich releasing only one Plum book a year, these in-between-the-numbers books are great. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. I found myself laughing out loud a lot. Sure, I would have loved to have Morelli and Ranger in it more, but Diesel is a great character too. And I can't say enough about Lula. I don't see how anyone could not like this book, but everyone has their own opinion. I, personally, highly recommend it. Read more

A humorous cozy mystery! (Lacey Luzzi Mafia Mysteries Book 1)
A humorous cozy mystery! (Lacey Luzzi Mafia Mysteries Book 1)

Review:The first of the series was hilarious, but at some parts predictable. I like to be a little surprised, but I think this was her first book out ever. I've read her mixology series and didn't want to leave the author because that series is amazing. I will also continue to bo. I hope she finds her stride in this really funny series with great characters. Lots of things happen in this book from men, to bad guys, to Lacey being naive which is a star off. Somethings she did just seemed childish and I ... Read more
