How to Capture a Duke (Matchmaking for Wallflowers Book 1)
How to Capture a Duke (Matchmaking for Wallflowers Book 1)

Review:I received this book free from one of the book sites. I do not remember which one! This is my honest review.
I had difficulty getting into the story, at the beginning. Just as I was beginning to enjoy & engage with the characters, a gratuitous sexual scene popped up. There really was no need for it either. After skimming over that & reading further, I held some hope for the story.
The characters met again & are on the floor of a cottage in another gratuitous sex scene.

Unlaced (Ashton/Rosemoor series Book 1)
Unlaced (Ashton/Rosemoor series Book 1)

Review:I got as far as chapter 12 and just couldn't go on.

The hero is a judgemental jerk. Henry had great looks and a title but no woman with an ounce of self respect would have given him a second chance. He blames the heroine for his lack of self control, and the stupid girl sets herself up for his abuse over and over.

The family who is supposed to be bringing her out in society didn't seem to have a whole brain even if they had all shared the same head.

The heroine wants to be ... Read more

A Historical Regency Romance Book - For the Love of a Duchess
A Historical Regency Romance Book - For the Love of a Duchess

Review:I really enjoyed reading, "For the Love of a Duchess". It is a clean romance, which is such a wonderful find in this day and age. It is also well written with character development that grasps you from the first few pages. You feel what the heroine is feeling and care about the outcome. I was so invested, I had to stay up and finish the book. If you like historical romances you will love this book and this writer! Read more

Accidentally Married (Anderson Brothers Book 1)
Accidentally Married (Anderson Brothers Book 1)

Review:WOW, this book got intense towards the end. This story was full of fun, excitement, danger, romance, sexiness, and from front to back, very entertaining. Holly and Brayden meet in Vegas. A lot happened in Vegas, but it didn’t all stay in Vegas. Very well written and the chemistry was hot. I received an ARC for my voluntary review. I loved this one by R.R. Banks!!! It’s a must read. Lord Dashwood Missed Out: A Spindle Cove Novella

Review:I cannot provide spoilers on this one as it is sooo short I would practically ruin the whole thing for anyone else to read , so I will just say ,

(Originally published in the e-book anthology THREE WEDDINGS AND A MURDER)

Review:I find that novellas are often too short to develop a convincing story, but nonetheless this one was quite good. I was also pleasantly surprised (SPOILER) when Mr Wright turned out to be not as awful as everyone thought. Read more

When a Scot Ties the Knot: Castles Ever After
When a Scot Ties the Knot: Castles Ever After

Review:this was a first for not only this book but for this author as well. The story was O.K. but I was expecting more from this author. It didn't get steamy until a little over half the book. If you like just a tiny little heat this is for you. I liked this story at near the almost end. It was hard for me to get into this story. Read more

Hello Stranger: The Ravenels, Book 4

Review:Have you ever read a book where you've been so engaged in the story that you lost all concept of time?
Well, that was me reading this book.
It seemed like one minute I had just started reading it and then suddenly, it felt like 20 minutes had passed when in reality 4 hours had passed and I was at 86% of the story.
And what "a hell of a story" it was!
I tried to slow myself in reading to the end because I wanted to savour it as long as I could, but unfortunately, my curiosity got the ... Read more
