I had difficulty getting into the story, at the beginning. Just as I was beginning to enjoy & engage with the characters, a gratuitous sexual scene popped up. There really was no need for it either. After skimming over that & reading further, I held some hope for the story.

Review:I got as far as chapter 12 and just couldn't go on.

The hero is a judgemental jerk. Henry had great looks and a title but no woman with an ounce of self respect would have given him a second chance. He blames the heroine for his lack of self control, and the stupid girl sets herself up for his abuse over and over.

The family who is supposed to be bringing her out in society didn't seem to have a whole brain even if they had all shared the same head.

Review:I really enjoyed reading, "For the Love of a Duchess". It is a clean romance, which is such a wonderful find in this day and age. It is also well written with character development that grasps you from the first few pages. You feel what the heroine is feeling and care about the outcome. Review:WOW, this book got intense towards the end. This story was full of fun, excitement, danger, romance, sexiness, and from front to back, very entertaining. Holly and Brayden meet in Vegas. Review:Have you ever read a book where you've been so engaged in the story that you lost all concept of time?
