Review:I remember when I was a kid absolutely loving this book! As a child, I loved the heroic tale of Balto and enjoyed the detailed pictures. Now, almost 20 years later as an artist, I still enjoy the illustrations and simple plot. Great for kids! Read more
Review:I liked that the main principles of Hermetics were laid out in an organized way. If you are an advanced student of spirituality and understand works like what Neville Giddard wrote about, you can read this and understand how it's all so true. Read more
Review:This is a fantastic story! Winter is a literary student in New York, Cade is a cowboy from Texas, and they're both on their way to Paris to study for the summer, maybe longer. Winter has secrets from her past and it keeps popping up to torment her. Cade is a bit broken and filled with uncalled for guilt, as well as an intense relationship with his dad, and dreams of doing his own thing- not following in dad's footsteps.
They meet before crossing the ocean, and Cade immediately feels the ne... Read more
Review:Ich kenne die Deutche sprach ohne schwierigkeit, best english translation that I am aware of. have read Untermeier tanslation, a disaster, Kaufmann with all due respect too devoted, is OK if nothing else available, but Hollingsdale is a masterpiece, a true work of art. Sometimes it seems to me to excell the very original.

Review:"GOD IS DEAD" These words are perhaphs the most famous and most misunderstood words uttered by any modern philosopher. Friedrich Nietzsche is one of the most overlooked and underestimated philosophers in recent memory. Review:It arrived in good time; however, the book listed is the one I wanted, not the one I got. I wanted the original editions Walter Kaufmann translated and edited as Kaufmann is THE expert on Nietzsche. I received a more modern version, translated and edited by R.J. Hollindale. Though he may have studied under Kaufmann, as Kaufmann is most likely Hollindale's "doctorvater", I did not wish for this.
Otherwise, book was in good condition. Simply false advertising. Read more
Review:Whether you've been abused or simply wish to understand the world of those who have been, BLACK AND BLUE is a must read. Having been in abusive relationships I found myself relating intensely to Fran's situation. Anna Quindlen's writing style is uniquely amazing as she glides back and forth from Fran's past to what she is going through as she evolves away from her abuser, trying to start fresh and find herself and help her son heal from the tragedies all children suffer when the two people the... Review:Excellent, insightful, perceptive. Now if only we can get the politicians in DC to read, discuss, and think about the implications of dealing with a rising China then there is hope of avoiding war. I am not optimistic in view of the rampant dysfunction in the current administration and the Congress.
It should be required reading for both the President, his cabinet, and the Congress. I am sure it is a must read for our military and the Defense Department. Read more
