Review:This book offers amazing insight about the ways we may unintentionally be harming our children AND what we can do about it. I have already started incorporating the suggestions, and find myself referring to it often. HIGHLY recommended! Read more
Review:After a very painful break-up, I found myself trying to call him, asking his friends for information about him, ect. My friends were sick of hearing about him, and I was going crazy. Then I picked up this book. The advice was very straight forward, and the anecdotes were very funny.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has been dumped or did the dumping, and is an emotional wreck. BTW I am now blissfully single and enjoying dating again! Read more
Review:I have read some really harsh reviews of this book but I say "it is not our job to judge". No one knows whatbthey would do unless they have actually been in the situation themselves. I think the author is being brutally honest in this book. He could have left out the unflattering parts but he did not. I was captivated by the overwhelming challenges this family is faced with every single day. I think this book gives a good look into this child's illness and daily life. Read more
Review:This book gave me insight, but also confirmed a few things I suspected to be true. I recommend it for everyone who is questioning their relationship or about to start one or any other relationship status. Read more
Review:This has it all. Sherry is smart, blunt, and correct in her words. Some books tell you to dumb down your routine, your personality, and your actions in order to "get" a man. But Sherry just tells you to have a fulfilling life and be happy with yourself. That's when you'll attract the right kind of man--when you have it all on your own. Because then you don't need a man, but you would like a partner in your happy life to share things with.

Review:Kimmel provides a lot of motivation (examples of good and bad case scenarios and plenty of scripture) to be the kind of parent God wants you to be. I feel like it makes a lot of sense and hope that I can always remember to apply it. Read more
Review:This is memorable, clever, sad and, at times, humorous, examination of relationships within and surrounding a Mennonite family, especially the relationship between sisters. I will not forget this book! Read more
