Review:I purchased this for my husband as his old book of maps was greatly outdated. He loved it and the larger scale was perfect for our aging eyes. It was a little larger than expected, but he didn't seem to mind. Overall, a great book of maps. If hubby is happy, then wife is happy! Read more
Review:Good map, but frustratingly printed on both sides. I spent an annoying amount of time flipping the entirely unfolded map back and forth inside a tiny van to try to plot courses on the fly. The price you pay to fit the entire country on one paper in detail, but I would have very much preferred one side to be the complete country in less detail, with the opposite being more highly detailed blow-ups of areas of interest. Or a larger map to fit all on one side. Or even multiple maps, but to have bee... Read more
Review:Very good product. Bought this for my daughter at Christmas. She was 10 years old at the time and now is 11. Months later, she still enjoys doing her nails, using the designs in this book. Not sure about the quality of the polish, but that's not the point. Buy this for the instructions and ideas. Read more
Review:This book is a wonderful trip in itself throughout the world taken from your own couch.
Although I am a voracious reader, I rarely buy a new book. Libraries, yard sales, friends,
Library book sales...these can keep me in reading material for years!
However, this is the exception to the rule. My husband and I love to travel and make a point of avoiding the main
tourist attractions and seeking out the unusual spots in each area we visit. This books saves us a lot of research!

Review:Myself and all of my guests are 'wowed' by this volume. The level of detail and world facts are simply astounding. I would love to have a child to give this to as a gift; they could get lost in this atlas for hours at a time. Read more
Review:It's an ok book. Only gave it 3 stars because all of this information is easily found online on the Internet now, as there are many free camping websites that cover the same info. Easier to do online and print out the info you want. And...I reached out to the author of this book twice in the last four months with reports of errors in the book, but never got a reply back. So, who know what all is actually correct? Read more
Review:So some of the trolls are bashing this book for not being well written...let's just remember Yossi didn't set out to be an author, he had an incredible experience and wrote a book to share it with others. If you can get past the fact that he isn't the next Shakespeare, his story truly is amazing. Yossi is refreshingly honest and admits his mistakes and naivete, something he could have chosen to gloss over. This book makes me both desperate to visit the Amazon, and terrified to. It's hard not to ... Read more
Review:Twentysomething American Female reminisces about her hard-drinking first months living as an expat in Paris. Not really amusing or interesting. At least the French words are spelled correctly. Probably OK if you like that kind of thing. I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book, through Reading Deals, so I could give an honest review.I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book, through Reading Deals, so I could give an honest review. Review:I loved this book!! I am a fan of Ms James' historical romances but I have to say this is my favorite book of hers. Following a diagnosis of breast cancer and subsequent treatments, she packs up her family for a year of living in Paris, France.
There is humor in her writing as she has us follow along on the escapades of her precocious ten year old daughter and her fourteen year old son. They alternately love and hate their year in Paris. Eloisa spends time sampling many restaurants, c... Read more
Review:Here is a book written with both the skill and insight of a high school freshman. While attempting to impress the reader with how cool she can be, the author succeeds in demonstrating that she should stick to writing for television. You might find the book useful if you have a table with one short leg that needs support. Read more
