A litRPG Adventure (The Viridian Gate Archives Book 1)
A litRPG Adventure (The Viridian Gate Archives Book 1)

Review:Digging the storyline. Good writing and grammar. No major editing problems.

The only thing that irks me is the same issue that seems to run rampant with this while genre. Filling the last 6-10% of the damn book with crap. Endless links and chapters for other books. I'm not buying your work to see the same hyperlinks and shoutouts and samples every time. I want a full book without added garbage at the end. I'd rather see stats, or forgotten about loot items, or anything else about the stor... Read more

Bitten: A Vampire Blood Courtesans Romance
Bitten: A Vampire Blood Courtesans Romance

Review:Wow! Haven't read anything like this before when reading vampire books. Book kept me interested until the very end, in fact, it leaves you wanting more. This is first book I've read in the Blood Courtesan series and I'm dying to read more of them. Kol is one sexy vampire and Nova is extremely naive. So naive she doesn't realize what a monster her human boyfriend is. I received this book as a complimentary copy in exchange for a honest review. And boy am I glad I did, this is one set of books I d... Read more

Bitten: Book One of the Bitten Vampire Series
Bitten: Book One of the Bitten Vampire Series

Review:I enjoyed this freebie. It kept me entertained and curious as to what was going to happen next. So what if Ally seems a bit shallow, we all have been shallow at times. Especially when young and on the prowl.(I spent alot of time getting ready back then...sigh.... I like how determined she is to meet this man she can't stop thinking about or looking at. Things do move a little fast after that, but who am I to question the author's vision of HER particular breed of vampire? The story ends on a ... Read more

A Novel of Suspense (Inspector Ian Rutledge Book 10)
A Novel of Suspense (Inspector Ian Rutledge Book 10)

Review:In 1920 five kids arrive at abandoned Yorkshire's Fountains Abbey with an alchemy book they stole from their school. They plan to perform a ritual to raise the devil, but instead flee in fear leaving behind the purloined tome. The next day a corpse wearing a gas mask is found near the book.

Scotland Yard sends troubled Inspector Ian Rutledge to identify the victim as the War Office has an interest in the body too. Although the Great War to end all wars may be over, Ian still suffers fr... Read more

A Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance (The Dragon Shifter's Mates Book 1)
A Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance (The Dragon Shifter's Mates Book 1)

Review:Wonderful tale about a girl who has her world turned upside down (in the best possible way) and the four shifters who she is destined to be with. The characters fit very well together and each bring something different to the group, which is nice to see. Read more

Full Wolf Moon: A Novel (Jeremy Logan Series)
Full Wolf Moon: A Novel (Jeremy Logan Series)

Review:An interesting and scientific approach to solving mysterious brutal murders of hikers in the dense woods. The bodies were so torn up that an animal was suspected. The towns people suspected a strange inbred family that isolates itself in a compound. Good story. Read more

Innocent Blood: The Order of the Sanguines Series
Innocent Blood: The Order of the Sanguines Series

Review:If you enjoyed the first book (the Blood Gospil) you will enjoy this continuation of the story. As always with James Rollins, riveting story telling that keeps you wanting more. I can't wait for the third book to be released.
Excellent story, I would recommend it. Read more

Dexter Morgan (7) (Dexter Series) - Dexter's Final Cut
Dexter Morgan (7) (Dexter Series) - Dexter's Final Cut

Review:The first three, I would laugh quite often from Dexter's self-effacing dry Wit. This one only gave me a few smiles. It lacked the tension of the previous Dexter... novels. I could barely stop reading them to go to bed, in fact I read each in two evenings. Only two times where Dex is in danger or stalking. While Astor's involvement was a twist, her role should have been opposite of what it was.

Still, good, just not as good. Read more

20th Century Ghosts
20th Century Ghosts

Review:This collection of short stories is beautifully written. The stories range from creepy and disturbing to Twilight Zone macabre--which I like. Not all horror should be filled with over-the-top situations and gore, and Joe Hill gets this. Fans of good writing, psychological horror/dark suspense and quirky characters will enjoy this. Hill has a wonderful imagination. My only comment is that these are not ghost stories, so the title is misleading. These tales were original, well written and I thorou... Read more

Death of a Ghost (A Hamish Macbeth Mystery)
Death of a Ghost (A Hamish Macbeth Mystery)

Review:I love Hamish and look forward to his future adventures. Although getting a little predictable, it is still a good clean read and I enjoy him. Books get passed around so many of us read M. C. Beaton. Read more
