The only thing that irks me is the same issue that seems to run rampant with this while genre. Filling the last 6-10% of the damn book with crap. Endless links and chapters for other books. I'm not buying your work to see the same hyperlinks and shoutouts and samples every time. I want a full book without added garbage at the end. Review:If you enjoyed the first book (the Blood Gospil) you will enjoy this continuation of the story. As always with James Rollins, riveting story telling that keeps you wanting more. I can't wait for the third book to be released.

Review:The first three, I would laugh quite often from Dexter's self-effacing dry Wit. This one only gave me a few smiles. It lacked the tension of the previous Dexter... novels. I could barely stop reading them to go to bed, in fact I read each in two evenings. Only two times where Dex is in danger or stalking. While Astor's involvement was a twist, her role should have been opposite of what it was.

Review:This collection of short stories is beautifully written. The stories range from creepy and disturbing to Twilight Zone macabre--which I like. Not all horror should be filled with over-the-top situations and gore, and Joe Hill gets this. Fans of good writing, psychological horror/dark suspense and quirky characters will enjoy this.
