Review:Dean Koontz is a lyrical writer. His descriptions are poetic; his characters well-developed and fun to spend time with. The dialog is crisp. As always with Koontz, there is one plot. His characters run from an evil that chases them and closes in on them. But art is in the details, and Koontz is a master story teller.

What the Night Knows is a the continuation of Darkness Under the Sun, an enjoyable novella. While the Novella focused on characterization for the antagonist of the 'series,' this book focused on the protagonist and his history with the crimes and criminals of his past and present. This focus allowed character development of the main protagonist over time, while the style of writing kept our focus on the present. A nice touch.

Review:This was a fast paced suspense novel that left you guessing, not as predictable as most thrillers. I enjoyed the supernatural aspects and it seems that all of the "loose ends" were tied up neatly. Definitely a great recommendation. Read more
Review:I love the Samantha Moon series there great books but I just feel like this book was cut to short your left really hanging which is good and bad! The story line was good and at the end I didnt think who killed the boxer was gonna be who it was but felt like it was over way to fast.but great book all and all!! Read more
Review:This book was well written; characters and plot were fairly enjoyable. The paranormal aspect was a turnoff for me. The typical plot line of the main character thinking they can and should solve the crime themselves instead of the police is wearing and just, illogical to me. Read more
Review:I love this series. I am glad Anders finally does more than grunt! The story plot was lacking but the vampire story was good. Its great to see Lucian go back and forth between hard and cold to his softer side. Not her best, but very enjoyable. Can't wait to see Bricker go down! Read more

Review:Thistle’s Short closes the gape in the full books where Annie & Belinda come to be at the Overlook Inn. I just cannot say enough of how much I enjoy every single book of “Wicked Witches of the Midwest” saga. Full stories & Shorts, this is the TV series I could watch for years but make sure Amanda M. Lee keeps all of her rights to it because the networks destroy everything they get the rights to. Read more
Review:After beginning by depicting religious Christians as hypocrites and nutcases, Bay later condescends to pity one while lecturing her like a stupid child for objecting to being discarded by her husband. After she "straightens the woman out" warm fuzzies abound. [And yes, this is the same Bay who recently had a total meltdown and all but demanded blood because her boyfriend merely spoke to another woman while undercover.] Read more
